Chapter 222: Breakthrough, Level 50!
In mid air, with that final collision, both the Thunder Qilin and the Ice Phoenix vanished. Yu Tianlin's Spirit Power was completely drained, and he could not even maintain flight anymore. From Shui Bing'er's condition, it was clearly the same.
With their ability to fly gone, the 3 of them fell from the sky.

"Grandpa?" Yu Tianlin asked in surprise. "Why did you come personally?"
"Your Majesty Thunder Douluo?!" Xue Wu's face was pale from exhaustion. The moment she saw Yu Yuanzhen, she could not help blurting it out.
Shui Bing'er remained composed. "Grandpa Yu, thank you so much."
Since Yu Yuanzhen had already taken action, the flight instructors from both academies knew there was nothing left for them to do. After thanking Yu Yuanzhen, they turned and withdrew.
Yu Tianlin, Shui Bing'er, and Xue Wu had exhausted their Spirit Power and could no longer continue fighting, but that did not mean the match ended in a draw. Their teammates were still on the arena.
Thunderous Fury and Snowflakes Fluttering Across the Sky had collided head on. Their power annihilated each other, and only residual energy swept outward. That was not enough to strip both teams of fighting strength.
So the fight continued.
Thunder Academy still had 3 Spirit Ancestors and 3 Spirit Elders left.
Skywater Academy still had 1 Spirit Ancestor and 4 Spirit Elders left.
They had to fight until a winner was decided.
But the outcome was already obvious. In numbers, in Spirit Ancestor count, in lineup, and in overall condition, Skywater Academy was at a clear disadvantage. Before long, they were defeated by Thunder Academy.
Just like that, Thunder Academy secured a 16 game winning streak and rose to 1st place in the standings.

Yu Yuanzhen waved his hand dismissively. "You want to fight Divine Wind Academy? There are 25 rounds in the preliminary stage, and only 16 rounds have been played. Who knows which round you'll meet them? If you're unlucky and only meet them in the last round, that's 9 days wasted."
