The great Allfather, facing off against the king of earth in a duel between monarchs?
At the Golden Palace, on the Bifrost Bridge, Heimdall looked out over New York, anticipating this battle of the century.
He was so confident that Odin would be victorious, just as he had been for the past few millennia, conquering all and never tasting defeat.
No one could stop Odin's spear. Whether god or demon, they all ultimately suffered defeat and knelt.
Heimdall wondered how many moves it would take Odin to defeat Luke.
"Luke's strength shouldn't be much weaker than Surtur's. Although the Allfather is old, his divine power is stronger than ever. Ten moves! Ten moves at most!"
Heimdall thought internally, focusing his mind to observe.
Meanwhile, in Manhattan, New York,
Thor was looking at Roxxon Energy Corporation, frowning.
Luke had asked him to investigate this company to figure out whether these guys had cooperated with certain forces.
Thor had searched the company's branches and supply chains everywhere, finally arriving at the headquarters, racking his brain trying to figure out how to sneak in.
"If Loki were here, it would be no trouble at all with his magic."
"Maybe I should just fight my way in. Sneaking in is too difficult."
As Thor was pondering, he suddenly sensed a familiar yet massive aura coming from a certain direction.
He looked back in astonishment toward the sky. The shocking scene caused by raging divine power sweeping across the sky was incredibly familiar.
"Is that Father?"
Thor was momentarily uncertain and surprised. Wasn't Odin still in Asgard? Why had he suddenly rushed to Earth, and with such a posture ready for a massive fight?
That direction... "Damn... It's Luke! Why are they fighting!"
Thor stepped onto the street, rapidly swinging Mjolnir and flying straight into the sky.
"Luke, fight me with all your strength!"
"The enemies we face next will be far more terrifying than me!"
Odin shouted powerfully.
"If you want to fight, then fight. It's the first time I've seen someone who enjoys getting beaten up."
After confirming that Odin was serious, what else could Luke say? Of course, he had to give him a severe beating!
Whoosh!
As he finished speaking, the Gungnir transformed into a golden meteor, and Luke, having anticipated this, dispersed into light elements.
The Gungnir tore through the elemental body and heavily slammed into the magic barrier.
It actually broke through three barriers in succession!
"An illusion? No, is it some kind of energy-based body?"
Odin's eyes lit up. With a wave of his hand, the meteor formed by the Gungnir turned and flew back.
But upon touching Luke, it once again pierced through the light element, failing to inflict any injury upon him.
Seeing this, Odin wasn't annoyed. His powerful battle intuition allowed him to instantly think of a countermeasure that might work.
Light is formless, immaterial, and ethereal, one of the fundamental elements of the world. And isn't magic also elemental?
Odin grabbed the Gungnir, exerted a slight force, and continuously released more than ten beams of light strikes.
Clever!
Luke, having transformed into a light element, naturally couldn't dodge the Gungnir's rays, which were also light energy attacks.
Because the villa was behind him, dodging was also impossible.
So Luke chose to... "What!"
Odin was filled with horror. He saw a plain longsword appear in Luke's hand, and Luke, like a fruit ninja, wielded the sword to cleverly slice open the light beams.
The "light" that shouldn't have been cut scattered into countless specks of light after the sword tip swept past.
Whether chopped, stabbed, or parried, the dozen or so light beams mysteriously vanished.
Odin had never witnessed such a situation. Even if Luke had blocked them all with his terrifying physical body, Odin would still have been completely astonished.
Light could be cut?
Odin doubted reality, feeling that perhaps Asgard's technology hadn't been updated or advanced in too long, causing it to fall behind the times?
"I advise you not to try and get close to me, or I cannot guarantee that your Gungnir will remain intact."
Luke warned him gently. As his eyes blinked, lines of red "threads" filled his entire vision.
Odin's body had fifteen lines, and the Gungnir had four lines. At the intersection points of these lines, there were also existences known as "Death Points."
Cutting along the Death Lines could inflict damage upon objects or people that was impossible to defend against or heal.
If he could pierce a "Death Point," it would result in permanent and irreversible destruction for the target.
Even magic, superpowers, and certain concepts could be severed and killed!
Theoretically, all things possess Death Lines and Death Points, but this depends on the user's own strength and their understanding of "Death."
If one cannot deeply comprehend "Death," it is difficult to perceive the Death Points and Death Lines.
The more powerful the existence, or the more difficult the creature is to comprehend, the harder it is to perceive its Death Lines and Death Points.
But the magnitude of Odin and the Gungnir was far from that level.
Suddenly, Odin felt a chill run through his entire body, a premonition that death was imminent.
"It's those eyes..."
Odin stared deeply into Luke's eyes. For some reason, those ordinary brown pupils seemed to contain a mysterious power capable of slaying gods!
Just meeting his gaze gave him an ominous feeling.
This was a feeling Odin had never experienced in his thousands of years traversing the Nine Realms.
And it was the only time he had been so close to death!
"I still underestimated Luke. Has he even exerted one-tenth of his power yet?"
He clearly remembered that Luke still had several powerful attack methods he hadn't used.
Yet just relying on an ordinary longsword was enough to make him feel threatened!
"What a terrifying existence."
"But... I am Odin Borson!"
His body surged with fervor once again after a long time. The blood of the Allfather flowing through him was like an engine running at full power, constantly releasing massive amounts of energy.
"Divine Power Augmentation!"
Vast magic power poured into every cell of his body, causing his strength, which already surpassed Thor's, to increase tenfold!
Every movement contained thousands, even tens of thousands, of tons of immense force!
As the magic power burned, his strength continued to grow!
More power, known as the Odin Force, surged into the Gungnir, and this king-level weapon erupted with its supreme radiance!
Odin was like Superman bathed in light. With every step he took, his strength increased significantly!
Luke raised an eyebrow, his eyes blinking slightly. "Interesting. I'll join in too!"
The abilities of the Copy Eye and Sharingan operated at full capacity, rapidly analyzing the magic Odin was casting.
This was a Divine Power Augmentation and enchantment magic released by Odin using the Odin Force and Rune magic.
Boom!!
Odin's aura was still surging, but when he saw the identical golden radiance erupting from Luke, the momentum of his growth suddenly halted.
"How is that possible!"
Odin's eyes widened. There was no mistake. Luke was using the exact same magic as him!
Luke knew Runes too?
Did Thor teach him?
As soon as this thought arose, Odin immediately shook his head in denial.
He understood Thor. That muscle-headed simpleton who only thought about hammers could, at most, perform some simple illusion magic, and even deceiving ordinary people was difficult for him.
He was more willing to believe that Loki had taught him.
But Loki didn't know it either!
Odin had only taught one person: Hela.
The latter had converted this magic into another augmentation magic that was more convenient and suited her: Hand of Glory.
"Don't tell me..."
An impossible idea flashed through Odin's mind. "Luke learned it just by watching once?"
Due to his intense emotional fluctuations, the augmentation of his aura slowed down.
But Luke's power surged rapidly.
Supported by vast energy, Luke's physical strength quickly surpassed his previous level tenfold!
His physique was already stronger than Odin's, and now, after the augmentation, it surpassed the augmented Odin once again!
"No, I can't let this continue."
"Even if I lose, I must fail in combat, not be overwhelmed by aura alone!"
Luke felt like an insurmountable mountain pressing down on his heart.
If he didn't act now, he might completely lose the courage to fight him!
With his entire body's magic power bursting forth, Odin tore open the space in front of him, silently appearing behind Luke, and violently thrust the spear down!
But Luke twisted around as if he had eyes in the back of his head, and lightly parried with his sword.
Clang!
The indestructible Gungnir was thus lightly snapped in half, without any warning!
The longsword continued to thrust forward. Alarm bells rang in Odin's mind, and while retreating, he raised an energy shield.
But Luke spun his sword, lightly tapping the "Death Point" in the upper left corner of the shield, and the barrier, which was strong enough to withstand a cruise missile, was instantly pierced.
Even though Odin tried hard to maintain the magic shield and repair it, it was beyond saving.
The point that had been breached completely destabilized the energy supply, forcing him to abandon the shield and retreat into the spatial passage.
The next moment, Odin appeared dozens of meters away, holding the two halves of the Gungnir in his hands.
"What weapon is that in your hand?"
Odin stared intently at the longsword in Luke's hand. While the breaking of the Gungnir caused him grief, he was far more curious about the sword Luke held.
"Just an unremarkable uru metal longsword, the same model as Sif's."
Luke casually tossed it to Odin. The latter immediately examined it, and sure enough, it was Sif's ordinary longsword!
Furthermore, it had no other enchanting magic.
But the problem remained.
How did Luke use this longsword to cut through the Gungnir?
This defies logic!
