Upon seeing the confused and worried look that was on Byron's face, Leon gave Byron a reassuring look while gesturing with his right palm at Byron to relax, then said leisurely as he picked up the fork and knife that were situated by the sides of his plate and began picking up and placing various dim sums onto his plate.
"Don't worry, I will explain everything to you later on."
"For now, let me eat first. I feel like I'm about to starve to death already."
Right after Leon had finished speaking to Byron, Leon finally looked over to the woman that was situated by his left side, then asked with a slightly surprised look on his face.
"Helena, what's the occasion that brought you here. Aren't you usually busy with the law firm on Saturday? What's the matter? You changed your schedule or something? Not intending to take Sunday off as you usually do?"
Right after Leon had finished speaking, without waiting for the woman to respond to him, Leon immediately began eating the various dim sums that he had stacked onto his round plate.
Upon taking the first bite of one of the dim sums and swallowing the food down his stomach, Leon couldn't help but close his eyes for a moment as he let out a satisfied groan, before finally focusing on clearing the food that was on his plate.
"Ah… Food tastes so especially good when a person is starving to death."
Right after seeing Leon's reaction toward eating the first bite of his food, Helena couldn't help but shake her head, then said with a slight frown on her face.
"How long have you been starving yourself? You are acting as if you have been starving yourself for days."
Upon speaking up to here, Helena could be seen picking up and placing food onto Leon's plate, thus, Leon didn't have to spend time picking up and placing food onto his own plate and just had to focus on clearing the food that kept on appearing on his plate.
While picking up and placing food onto Leon's plate, Helena continued on speaking.
"My schedule is still the same as usual, I can afford to take an hour break, it won't post any problem toward me taking tomorrow off."
"More importantly, if I didn't decide to come here today, I truly wonder if a certain someone has already completely forgotten about me and my daughters."
"Never mind about me. But… sigh… I truly pity both of my darling daughters."
"Both of them constantly have their minds filled with a certain someone, and yet, this certain someone doesn't even bother making time to spend even a single day with them ever since he has enrolled into Greenland University."
"What do you have to say for yourself, huh, Mr Leon Draconis?"
Upon speaking up to here and seeing that Leon wasn't saying anything and was just merely continuing to stuff himself with food, a slight frown appeared on Helena's face once again as she stopped placing food onto Leon's plate and said with a displeased tone in her voice.
"Eat, eat, eat! Is your mind filled with just food? Are you even listening to me speak?"
"Wait… give me a moment…"
Upon hearing the evident displease in Helena's tone, Leon opened his mouth to speak while he was still chewing onto the food that was in his mouth, then began eating at an even faster speed.
Upon hearing Leon's response and seeing the way in which Leon was eating his food after he had responded to her, which seemed as if he had really been starving for days…
Helena couldn't help but think to herself while with her brows wrinkled, "Seriously, this boy… How long had he been starving himself? I have to give him a good chiding later on and get him to promise me that he will make sure to eat no matter how busy he is."
Evidently, Helena thought that Leon most likely hasn't eaten for quite a while due to being extremely busy.
Though, in truth, the reason that Leon was currently acting like he hasn't eaten for days was because of the immortal dragon's blood essence that he had just drank a while ago.
After what seemed like 5 minutes had passed, whereby pretty much almost all of the dim sums had been eaten by Leon…
Leon finally felt that the extreme hunger he was feeling coming from his stomach had finally disappeared.
Though, he was still far from even feeling slightly full.
"Ah…"
After letting out a deep breath, followed by a satisfied groan, then did Leon finally looked over to Helena and said with a speechless look on his face.
"Helena, aren't you over exaggerating things? It's just a month of not seeing each other, and it's not like we aren't talking to each other over text messages."
Right after Leon finished speaking, Leon subconsciously took a look at Helena's stats.
And while reading through Helena's stats, Leon's eyes could actually be seen opening wide, evidently to have been greatly surprised by something.
