Chapter 260 - 260: Electromagnetic Fury

"Zehahaha, how unlucky, a wolf in front and a tiger behind."

Teach glared at Rolan before him, then at the venomous dragons advancing on the group.

For a brief moment, he felt a twinge of despair.

He knew his combat power was inferior to Rolan's, yet he still relied on his natural physical advantages and did not feel outright fear.

Hannyabal, witnessing the scene, clenched his teeth with resolve, showing no hint of fear.

If sacrificing himself could help capture the ruthless Rolan and the troublesome Straw Hat, it would be a contribution to justice and order at sea.

Rolan shook his head, turned, and raised his hand, enveloping everyone nearby in an Electromagnetic Barrier.

Bang bang bang

All three venomous dragons crashed into the barrier, exploding into clouds of poisonous energy.

The entire area shook violently from the force of the impact.

Rocks tumbled from the upper levels, and the floor cracked deeper, teetering precariously.

Meanwhile, the venom collected on the Electromagnetic Barrier, forming a spherical dome. Drop by drop, it fell to the ground, releasing white smoke and corroding the floor into pits.

Luffy clutched his chest, exclaiming, "Ah, no! If even a little of that had touched me, I'd be black and blue all over."

Jinbe, startled, retracted his hand mid-strike. During his imprisonment, he had heard legends about Magellan.

Impel Down was the world's greatest prison — easy to enter but impossible to escape. This was not just due to its seabed construction, but because its Warden, Magellan, possessed terrifying power.

Magellan's Venom-Venom Fruit abilities had crushed the thoughts of any who dared invade or escape.

That massive, sky-obscuring strike just now had been no mere display — yet Rolan had blocked it with a simple raise of his hand.

It was terrifying.

In the short time Jinbe had been around Rolan, he had been shocked repeatedly: unparalleled Haki, blinding speed, and the ability to stop venomous dragons with a single gesture.

Rolan was a bottomless abyss; no one could gauge his limits.

If Rolan were an enemy, the outcome would be catastrophic. Thankfully, for now, he was an ally.

Hannyabal slowly opened his eyes. "I… I'm okay?"

He glanced at Rolan, realizing that he must have been the one shielding him.

He felt a mix of gratitude and unease — and an endless curiosity about why Rolan would protect him.

Magellan frowned.

Rolan was reputed to be the World's Strongest Man, a head among the Four Emperors. Magellan had never underestimated him. He had planned to use his venom to subdue Blackbeard, Luffy, and Jinbe, not harm Rolan — yet Rolan had effortlessly blocked it.

Without hesitation, Magellan activated his Devil Fruit. Thick, viscous venom seeped from his body.

But this venom was different: a chilling crimson rather than the usual blue-purple.

It coalesced behind him into a massive red demon. The poisonous gas itself radiated a deadly red glow, melting anything it touched.

"Poison Hydra!"

Magellan swung his arm, and the giant venom demon mirrored the motion, reaching for Rolan and his group.

"Gum-Gum Grizzly Magnum!"

"Fish-Man Karate: Five Thousand Tile True Punch!"

Luffy and Jinbe launched simultaneous attacks, blocking Magellan's right-hand strike.

"Don't get in the way!" Jinbe bellowed.

Rolan did not turn, fully aware of the battle unfolding behind him. A faint smirk appeared as he extended his right hand, clenching it. A blue-purple Electromagnetic Blade formed in his palm.

"Marshall D. Teach, I still admire you. You are a true Pirate. If our ideals were aligned, we could have been allies."

"Hmph!" Blackbeard snorted. "I just had bad luck I didn't expect to meet a monster like you!"

Teach knew his power posed no threat to Rolan, but he refused to wait idly for death.

He concentrated Armament Haki into his right fist and struck at Rolan's face with blinding speed.

Rolan calmly raised his left hand, blocking Teach's punch. The dull thud of fist meeting palm cracked the surrounding space inch by inch.

He drove the Electromagnetic Blade into Teach's left chest.

"Ah!!!"

Blackbeard screamed, vision dimming as suffocating pain enveloped him. Blood flowed freely from his mouth; his aura waned and vanished.

Rolan withdrew his blade, surveying the battlefield. Luffy and Jinbe were engaged with Magellan.

"Luffy, whatever you do, don't touch Magellan," Jinbe warned, tilting his head toward the Straw Hat, now in Gear Fourth.

Luffy nodded. He had witnessed the corrosive power of Magellan's venom; a single touch could reduce a human to a puddle.

Rolan stepped to the side of Luffy and Jinbe, his gaze fixed on the towering Magellan.

"Magellan, we do not seek to be your enemies."

Magellan's gaze shifted to Blackbeard, then to Rolan.

"Pirates are pirates, the greatest unstable factor in this world. Invading Impel Down is a grave crime. I will not let you leave today."

Rolan shook his head at the stubborn old man, frowning slightly as he sensed a familiar electromagnetic signature from behind.

He turned his head to see Teach's fallen body. A hint of curiosity crossed his face.

Using Electromagnetic Instant Transmission, Rolan reappeared in front of Teach, lowering his head to examine him.

"Cough, cough!"

Teach's heart began to beat again. "Zehahaha Rolan, I am immortal You cannot kill me today."

His aura was low, yet his eyes burned with hatred toward Rolan. The stab he had received earlier had felt like his own great-grandmother's wrath. Fortunately, Teach had more than one life.

Rolan raised an eyebrow. "Your body is… peculiar."

Before Teach could respond, Rolan activated his Electromagnetic Fruit again. Multiple blades materialized, slashing through the air with precision.

Teach's body was cut into several pieces in an instant.

Rolan observed, composed and calculating, finally understanding the extent of his adversary's immortality.

"So that's it…"
