Chapter 119- The Fight Concludes

Nami surveyed the only three figures still standing amid the scattered bodies of bounty hunters.

Alex had specifically instructed her not to harm Vivi—Miss Wednesday—so that left only Igaram (Mr. 8) and Miss Monday to deal with. After taking down nearly eighty bounty hunters single-handedly, Nami didn't expect any real challenge from the remaining two.

Miss Monday gripped a heavy baseball bat and swung it toward Nami's head with ferocious power.

Nami sidestepped effortlessly and the bat smashed into the wall behind her. It broke and splintered into jagged pieces. Miss Monday spun around, eyes blazing with fury, and slipped on a pair of brass knuckles.

"I'll break you into pieces," she snarled.

Nami smirked, looking quite arrogant as a house cat.

"You can't defeat me. I already defeated almost eighty of your bounty hunters. Taking you down will be no problem at all."

"Arrogant bitch!! I will kill you!!"

Miss Monday gritted her teeth and lunged forward. She was throwing rapid boxing punches fueled by raw anger. Each swing grew harder and faster as she abandoned any thought of preserving Nami for the bounty—she just wanted to crush her.

Nami moved with the fluid grace of a cat. She was dodging every blow while using the encounter to sharpen her close-combat skills. Between evasions, she conjured small illusions with her Clima-Tact—phantom duplicates of herself, flashes of distracting light—to practice her timing and versatility.

After a few minutes, Nami decided she had trained enough. She raised her Clima-Tact, channeled a burst of thunder, and struck Miss Monday square in the chest. The muscular woman convulsed once before collapsing unconscious.

"First time in my life I've seen a girl with muscles like that," Nami muttered while glancing down at the fallen fighter. "Even most men aren't built that big."

If not for the distinctly feminine voice, Nami might have mistaken her for a man.

"I wonder if Alex likes this kind of girl too," she added with a soft chuckle.

"For your own good luck," Nami said to the unconscious woman, "Alex told me not to kill four people—including you."

Within minutes, Nami finished off Igaram (Mr. 8), then knocked out Vivi (Miss Wednesday) and Mr. 9 as well. The four of them were left breathing but unconscious.

"That was very easy," Nami said while climbing onto a nearby rooftop to join Alex.

Kaya was already sitting beside him. She was looking downcast and a little pitiful. Alex had one arm around her shoulders and was gently consoling her.

"Kaya, you don't have to be sad," he said softly. "You did well—defeating almost twenty bounty hunters on your first real fight is impressive."

"You're becoming very strong, Kaya," Nami added, sliding in behind her and wrapping her arms around Kaya in a warm hug. "Don't worry if you don't want to fight all the time. Alex and the rest of us will protect you."

Kaya managed a gentle smile as she looked up at Alex.

"I just want to contribute… I don't want to be a burden on our journey." Her voice grew firmer. "Don't worry. I'll definitely train harder from now on. I'll become strong enough to fight and defeat your enemies. I will be both doctor and fighter like Tsunade. I won't make you worry anymore."

Alex grinned. "And I'll definitely make you stronger—in the training gym and in the bed… hehehe."

He leaned in and kissed her forehead tenderly, then gave her ass a playful squeeze on her meaty ass.

Kaya blushed but smiled wider. She was clearly understanding exactly what "training in bed" meant. And she was expecting intense training in bed tonight.

"You're such a pervert," Nami teased while rolling her eyes at the open flirtation right in front of her.

"Don't worry, my thieving cat," Alex replied smoothly. "I'll train you too."

He pulled Nami close and captured her lips in a deep, hungry kiss. Their tongues intertwined, saliva mixing as they devoured each other's mouths with unrestrained lust.

If not for the open rooftop and the unconscious bounty hunters sprawled around them, they might have fucked then and there.

When they finally parted their lips, both were breathing heavily. They were both looking at each other with a lust-filled gaze that had little to do with gentle love and everything to do with the raw desire to mate like animals.

"Let's go meet Lily and Kuina," Alex said after a moment. "If we're late, they'll be upset."

They left Mr. 8, Mr. 9, Miss Monday, and Miss Wednesday lying on the ground—unconscious but alive. They would wake up in a few minutes.

The three of them headed toward the large building where Lily and Kuina were still enjoying the remnants of the party. They were feasting on food and drinks as though nothing had happened.

[POV Change]

After Alex, Nami, and Kaya left to reunite with Lily and Kuina at the party building, Mr. 8, Mr. 9, Miss Monday, and Miss Wednesday began to stir one by one.

They quickly pieced together the grim reality. And that was it; each and every other bounty hunter in Whiskey Peak had been wiped out. They alone had survived the massacre.

The four regrouped in a dusty, abandoned house on the outskirts, far from where Alex and his crew were.

They were silent as they exchanged tense glances as the weight of their failure was pressing down heavily.

"Now we've lost all the bounty hunters of Whiskey Peak—except for us four," Mr. 9 muttered, wiping blood from his lip. "We're in serious trouble. Baroque Works won't let this slide."

"Hey, it wasn't our fault," Miss Monday grumbled, flexing her bruised arms. "Those pirates were one of the strongest crews from East Blue. Their combined bounties add up to nearly 100 million Berry—more than even Crocodile's. We are small fry. We couldn't defeat monsters like them, right?"

"Yes, but try explaining that to Baroque Works," Igaram (Mr. 8) replied grimly while adjusting his hat. "Their only goal is profit. They don't care about the process. This defeat puts us in a negative light. Let's just hope the punishment isn't too severe."

"Kyahahaha! You guys are so pathetic—defeated by two little girls!"

The sarcastic words and that distinctive, high-pitched laugh cut through the tension, drawing all eyes to the doorway. Two new figures stepped into the light: a slender woman twirling a parasol and a stocky man with a smug grin.

"Miss Valentine! Mr. 5! Why are you two here?" Igaram asked as there was astonishment mixing with dread in his voice.

"Did you come just to laugh at us?" Mr. 9 snapped, irritation flaring despite his wounds. "Even if we lost, you have no right to mock us. Only the boss can punish us."

"We have a mission," Mr. 5 stated flatly. It was like he was on vacation as his hands were casually in his pockets.

Igaram exhaled in relief. "I see. The boss sent you to eliminate those pirates."

"Exactly," Mr. 9 agreed. "Let's take down the whole crew. No matter their bounties, they're only five people."

"Kyahahaha! You're wrong," Miss Valentine cackled. Her laughter was as if she were mocking the pitiful people.

"Seriously, Miss Wednesday—stop with the jokes," Mr. 5 added, eyeing Vivi. "We didn't come to clean up your mess."

"Did you really think we'd travel all the way to the start of the Grand Line just to bail you out?" Miss Valentine asked rhetorically while spinning her umbrella.

"Kyahahaha! You're even more pitiful than you look."

"But... what mission are you here for, then?" Mr. 9 asked, confusion deepening.

Mr. 5 stepped forward. His expression was cold.

"The boss sent us to kill the one who knows his secret. Even though we don't know the details ourselves."

"Our company's motto is 'mystery,'" he continued grimly. "Everyone's identity stays secret, no matter who they are. If someone's dumb enough to nose around the boss's business... well, that's a crime punishable by death."

"So, while we were tracking whoever learned the boss's secret, we discovered something," Miss Valentine chimed in, grinning wickedly. "Kyahahaha! Turns out a high-ranking individual from a certain kingdom infiltrated Baroque Works."

At that moment, Igaram's hands trembled as he stared at the ground. 'They found out...'

Before anyone could react further, Igaram yanked at his bow tie. Gun barrels emerged from the elaborate curls of his hair. He then fired six rapid shots at the pair of Baroque agents.
