Allen quickened his pace and came up in front of Professor Lupin and Professor McGonagall .
"Mr. Harris , you're back! Do you know where Mr. Weasley and Mr. Malfoy are ?" Professor McGonagall asked directly and concisely.
"I don't know. Ron and Draco ? Are they missing?" Allen asked.
Professor Lupin nodded slowly. "Yes, we're looking for them. Luna said she oncesaw them following you all the way to the Forbidden Forest ."
"Huh?" Allen remembered the situation that day; he had never seen either of them before!
Allen glanced at Luna, who was standing beside him . Luna's large, pale silver eyes were fixed on Allen, and she looked as surprised as ever.
Allen immediately decided that it was impossible for Luna to be lying . Did this mean she'd been followed that day? But from start to finish—unfortunately, she'd been in such a hurry to arrest Peter that day that she'dn't paid any attention to those behind her. This made him feel like he'd been a little careless; his experience in this matter was still insufficient.
But he soon thought of someone who might know where they were.
" Did you ask Professor Snape ? He was there that day too; maybe he knows where they were," Allen speculated.
