Chapter 287 - Chapter 287: Reflections

Allen Harris stood on the sidelines, secretly chuckling.

Actually, Malfoy and Ron Weasley didn't need to worry about him revealing their secrets. Allen Harris was certain of one thing: revealing someone's private life, especially if that private life involves self-esteem, makes maintaining a friendship difficult. Revealing your secrets to someone you don't know well is equivalent to making an enemy; he didn't think James Potter was that kind of person .

The next day, when Allen Harris entered the Great Hall , he found it buzzing with excitement and all the Young Wizards engaged in a heated discussion .

Could the incident between Ron Weasley and Malfoy have spread so quickly throughout the school?

Allen Harris quickly entered and was met with many admiring glances along the way.

This surprised Allen Harris even more.

She hadn't suddenly realized what was happening until Bennie handed her a roll of newspaper

The front-page headline of the Daily Prophet newspaper was about Sirius's trial the day before.

" Peter Pettigrew : Dead and Resurrected? The Alleged Hero is Actually a Killer."

The Ministry of Magic held a hearingtoday . Peter Pettigrew had faked his death years ago to escape and used a spell that killed thirteen people... "We are doing our best to improve laws and regulations. Trial procedures will be more rigorous and efforts will be made to minimize such major errors of justice and eliminate such incidents," said the Minister of Magic. Cornelius Fudge said this morning: "We urge the Wizarding World to remain calm."

Allen Harris quickly scanned the newspaper and found that almost the entire issue was devoted to explaining that year's events and yesterday's trial.

" Sirius Black Wrongfully Sentenced to Thirteen Years in Prison," "Who is the Real Traitor?", " The Final Sentence of Azkaban "... The newspaper was accompanied by numerous photographs.

There were photos of Sirius and Peter Pettigrew from their youth, photos from when they were imprisoned, photos from when they escaped... and evenphotos of James Potter and Lily Potter from their youth!

The photos that took up the most space were those from yesterday's hearing: Sirius Black kneeling on the floor, howling, while Peter Pettigrew posed with a blank stare.

Allen Harris glanced at the newspapers while eating his oatmeal.

He was truly impressed by these reporters for managing to interview Sirius and thoroughly investigate his role in this incident ; it's no surprise that the stares he received when he just walked in were so intense.

After finishing his breakfast, Allen Harris was getting ready to go to class as usual, but the moment he stepped out of the Great Hall, he was surrounded by a group of Young Wizards .

"Allen Harris, may we join your training class?" asked Justin Finch-Fletchley of Hufflepuff , with a hopeful look.

The Young Wizards surrounding Allen Harris nodded in unison, and silence fell as they awaited his response.

Allen Harris looked around and saw that the people standing there represented almost every house, including Millicent Bulstrode and Blaise Zabini from Slytherin .

Outside the crowd, Hermione Granger stood on tiptoe, peering over the heads of those present at Allen Harris. Clearly, he didn't want to miss this opportunity either.

"Allen Harris, what do you say to them joining us?" Penelope had blended unnoticed into the crowd and looked very pleased.

Allen Harris stared at Penelope in astonishment. Wasn't this the Headmistress who had previously requested that witches from other houses not be included ?

Penelope, as if sensing Allen Harris's question, walked gracefully toward him, a rather proud expression on her face.

Deliberately bending her knees slightly to naturally shorten her height, she leaned gently beside Allen Harris, pushed her long hair from her chest to the side, and whispered in Allen Harris's ear: "This is the perfect opportunity to gain prestige, Allen Harris, don't miss it!"

Her rarely soft voice, the way she breathed as she spoke, and her beautiful red lips that inadvertently brushed against Allen Harris's ear... all of this caused Allen Harris's heart to race and his skin to tremble slightly.

"No problem. If that's the case, register at Young Miss ." "Penelope Clearwater is here. We'll be compiling the statistics, and education-related matters will be announced separately," Allen Harris said loudly to the crowd, maintaining his composure.

This caused shouts of joy among the Young Wizards . Their respect for Allen Harris increased even more at receiving a positive response, and they bid him farewell one by one.

Far from displaying an arrogant attitude, Allen Harris, on the contrary, bid farewell to each of the Young Wizards individually in a more polite manner .

"Allen Harris, it seems that this time Ravenclaw's prestige will far surpass Gryffindor and Slytherin ." Penelope's beautiful face flushed slightly, and she looked very happy. As if she had received the young wizard's approval , she stroked her thick, beautiful hair with a proud expression .

Just as Allen Harris was thinking he could leave and go to class, a voice called out to him; it was Harry !

"Allen Harris, thank you for helping Sirius ." Harry walked over to them with a complicated expression on his face.

He once believed his parents had been brutally murdered because of the betrayal of their closest friends.

She hated Sirius so much.

She had shared a room with the real traitor for three years!

She was filled with anger and melancholy, but she couldn't express them to Allen Harris, so she settled for a simple thank you.

"I found out about this by chance. Don't look at me like that. Sirius and I had a prior agreement: I would clear his name, and the Black Family collection would be mine. You don't need to be so grateful," Allen Harris said with a smile.

"Regardless of what happened, you saved Sirius , and I have another relative in the world now," Harry insisted .

But Harry also thought about Sirius , whom he had seen in the newspaper .

Would it be easy to get along with someone who looked wild and angry on a wanted poster, but whose face was pale, drawn, and whose eyes were gloomy and depressed after the truth came out?

Would she like him?

In any case, he would definitely be much better than Vernon .

"Also, Allen Harris," Harry suddenly tensed up.

Allen Harris stared at him in surprise. Was there something else?

"I would very much like to join your trainings, but Professor Lupin is currently teaching me the Patronus Charm , and I don't want to fail under his guidance," said Harry , gathering his courage and looking at Allen Harris.

" Harry , it doesn't matter. Professor Lupin is a truly talented professor . You'll learn a lot by following him," said Allen Harris, smiling reassuringly upon hearing this.

Moreover, Allen Harris knew perfectly well that Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley, wouldn't want to see him again anytime soon . Ron Weasley had spent years sharing a bed with a greasy, middle-aged man disguised as an ugly rat, and had even kissed Scabbers repeatedly out of concern for his sanity... If someone were to see him in such an embarrassing situation, they probably wouldn't be able to resist casting a Memory Charm on him .

Allen Harris averted his eyes from him and looked at Ron Weasley in the distance .

Ron Weasley met Allen Harris's eyes and quickly, awkwardly, turned his head away.

In reality, Allen Harris was only half right.

Ron Weasley's real hatred lay with Hermione Granger ! He was especiallyafter seeing her all dressed up on their last trip to Hogsmeade Village , realizing he hadn't noticed how beautiful Hermione Granger could be before.

And now, Hermione Granger not only saw him at his most pitiable , but she also saw him looking at Allen Harris with such gentle eyes and offering him such a kind smile.

But when Hermione Granger encountered him, he only showed her cold politeness, as if their old friendship had burst like bubbles over time.
