Sierra Summers' hand moved faster than her brain; before she could react, she had already instinctively answered the call.
"Cecilia, it's been handled." Caleb Sterling's voice gave Sierra Summers a surprise as soon as he spoke.
She was really caught off guard; Caleb Sterling hadn't replied to her messages and called directly to tell her that he'd already taken care of it for her.
Sierra asked hesitantly, "How did you handle it?"
"They've learned their lesson, so they shouldn't dare hassle you. And if they do, their family elders won't let it slide."
It was the first time Sierra had heard Caleb say such a long sentence.
Caleb was standing up for her.
This fact thrilled her to her core, "Caleb Sterling, you're really great."
Sierra awkwardly uttered six very awkward words.
