Serena Stanton knew what might happen if she came here, but she came anyway.
That was no different from silently agreeing—or maybe even wanting—to do something intimate with him.
The man's shadow loomed dark and heavy over her, his mouth on her earlobe not gentle at all—a pressure that made Serena's scalp tingle, the blood in her body rushing faster, a buzz of tingling heat rising inside her.
"Only one reason, that's all. No more." Serena instinctively reached out to push his chest away, struggling, her fists pounding against his shoulder, but it was all to no avail.
Her high heels jabbed unceremoniously at his dress pants, but Adrian pressed her legs down with his knee, pinning her hard in place.
Still, she managed to leave two inevitable footprints on his trousers.
Adrian glanced down at them and clicked his tongue softly, catching her wrists in one hand, then pulling off his tie with the other to quickly and decisively tie her hands together.
