After dinner, they left the restaurant.

Bella squeezed the little girl's hand, signaling her to temporarily stay quiet.
Though usually a little bootlicker and somewhat cheeky and cute, the little girl listened to Bella's words at crucial moments.
Receiving Bella's hint, even though she felt Daddy being driven away like this was pitiful, she didn't say anything more. She just looked pitifully at Damian, silently praying in her heart, hoping Daddy wouldn't leave so easily.
Damian looked at her and nodded after a while, "Alright, that's fine." He then got into his car.
Bella's heart slightly ached, but she managed a smile. Only after watching Damian drive away in his own car did she finally hail a taxi.
