Warren King even doubted if he misheard something, otherwise why would he hear Holly Sawyer say: When did you ever offend me?

Holly Sawyer's voice was light, slow, and especially calm.
She was holding onto Leo Grant's arm, her whole body almost leaning against Leo, making her look much smaller.

Warren King blinked blankly, unable to immediately grasp Holly Sawyer's meaning, weird and strange.
Why would Holly Sawyer ask this?

Holly shrugged, looking innocently at Warren King.
She thought maybe Warren's brain wasn't functioning well, weird and strange.

Leo Grant interrupted Warren, there was a hint of amusement in his eyes.
