"If I were you, I would unhesitatingly choose to hurt Evelyn," Mrs. Keaton said softly, "After all, Caden Lockwood's parents don't like Evelyn. Her marriage is full of obstacles. Instead of letting someone else break it up in the end, it would be better if you did it. Once you become Mrs. Keaton, you can at least protect her when she divorces."
After a pause, Mrs. Keaton continued, "Otherwise, when the time comes, you and she will just end up as a pair of miserable sisters."
Cecilia Lynch cried uncontrollably.
She couldn't hurt Evelyn!
