Eunji knew that she wouldn't be able to handle the short male before her due to the slight difference between their prowess level but after with the sudden boost that Rei had performed somehow which she'll later ask after the pursuit.
"This is cheating!" Yukine exclaimed like a child while showing childish tantrums while Rei and the latter's spiritual energy seemed to become faint due to the distance of the passive ability of Eunji's prowess.
"Fxck. You better stay safe or I'll have your head to the headmaster!" Eunji gritted her teeth before continuing her fight with Yukine.

Gregory was dumbfounded with the latter's strength after the Rei had managed to break through his defense, the once invisible barrier broke upon the black haired male's assault. "You're strong." Gregory said while Rei smirked, "Strong? More like you people just haven't met someone the same level as you."
Rei twisted his arm in a degree that surprised Gregory as it managed to slice his skin deep enough to make him worry with the latter's hand-to-hand combat style. "Omniscient Art Release: Prismatic Light Barrier." Gregory uttered before several light beams appeared on Rei's side as it immediately formed a barrier to encase him.
The tall male stared at Rei, wondering what would be his next move when the black haired male immediately shattered the barrier by a pure spiritual energy burst which immediately formed more shadows and ice crystals that fused together to form a massive amount of glacier spikes that shot out everywhere in the vicinity.
'Shadow Style.' Rei chanted through his head before his spiritual energy level went higher before pointing one of his sickles at Gregory, 'Gaze of the Abyss: Devour!'
Suddenly, the once glacier spikes that were scattered around after everything had shot out had immediately bursted into a powerful wave of shadow that were combined with ice crystal that acted like a shield while the darkness sprouted out a various amount of tendrils and limbs that reached out to Gregory then some of the glacier spikes now had grew even sharper and taller while the ones that was combined with ice crystals were formed around the shadow tendrils like a scale similar to a serpentine dragon.
Gregory could his adrenaline running high due to the pressure and atmosphere that Rei had made. Each move and decision that he made needed sharp focus and quick thinking since one wrong move, then his life would've been over almost instantly due to how quick the tendrils then the execution of the techniques that Rei was doing.
"This brat. He's not mimicking like one of those wannabe people that idolises the black reaper…" Gregory uttered to himself, comparing the lousy moves of those who had been defeated or killed by him.
The contrast of those who mimicked the black reaper then to Rei who was attacking kept on flashing in between his vision as Gregory soon started to feel chills down his spine. An unforgettable feeling of every living being had dreaded the most.
The remaining lifeline before the inevitable 'death'.
Gregory only saw Rei in a shadowy figure with black wisps emitting from him while the bicolor eyes glowed a shade of red on the right then blue on the left. It was like a grump reaper that had visited him personally to harvest his soul.
"What's wrong?" Rei asked before sending out a singular thick shadow tendril that had ice crystals over it like a scale with a claw towards Gregory who barely managed to block it with his light technique.
"Are you scared? Aren't you the one who's supposed to have the advantage? So, why is it that I'm winning and you are losing?" He added before vanishing almost instantly that caught Gregory off guard as his torso was cut by Rei's sickle that was glowing both shades of red and blue which almost fused together to make a purple glow.
It wasn't deep enough to cut him off completely but it was enough to injure him as Gregory could feel his adrenaline running lower and lower as time went on. "Be honoured that I'm using this on you!" Eunji was focused on her fight as she was able to push the short male on the edge, their stamina and physical prowess proved to be a fraud due to them constantly using spiritual energy to boost themselves which earned them the ranking of A and took the merits of S from the tall male.
Everything was going well when she felt a powerful burst of spiritual energy that she recognised from the flow. "Shxt!" She gritted through her teeth as she couldn't get to help Rei at the moment since the latter would be able to catch up to her and could turn the tables around if a wrong move was made.
What she felt was a powerful technique that most sorcerers needed the most when becoming stronger and versatile with their prowess and techniques. Innate techniques are one the most important basic knowledge for any awakener to understand and to learn its ability then its usage for their advantage while trying to refine it to the best according to the weakness they discover on the progress.
However, the one that she had just felt was not just any normal or basic innate technique that one can acquire. A soul base technique which provides an awakener of their prowess. Soul Summoning technique, otherwise known as 'territorial summon' which grants them a guarantee of success and execution once the technique is executed. Any innate technique that the summoner possesses are all guaranteed to be successful upon using them in the territory of their summon.
If one is able to manifest and properly execute a territorial summon then they are considered as one of the strongest due to knowing how spiritual energy is used through their flow, output and execution. Although, if they fail to properly execute one then their whole thing collapses with losing one thing in their arsenal.
The reserves they managed to build up were not fatal since it would only drain half or almost everything while the only proper treatment is to rest.
Unnatural flow of spiritual energy through their essence core which will take months or years for an awakener to get used to it with proper treatment of practice and cultivation.
Lastly, a fatal as if an awakener is drained out of their mana while summoning a territory which would put them in a near death state or suspended death animation depending on the stats of their recovery and defense.
Eunji was worried how would Rei manage to defeat someone who's using an ultimate technique as the sorceress immediately hurried up after managing to beat the short hair male by encasing their leg with her ice technique before infusing her spiritual energy through her blade to cut them down.
It wasn't fatal but was enough to make them pass out as she immediately ran towards Rei's direction although upon arrival it was already over as the barrier collapsed slowly before disintegrating.
What she saw was something that brushed off her worry but had also increased her fear somehow of Rei's current appearance and action. From there, at the battlefield of Rei and Gregory's fight was a total disaster with buildings already collapsed but luckily every person was already evacuated somehow which was fine but confusing.
Blood splattered while Gregory was almost unrecognisable from the amount of injuries that they sustained. His right arm was already decimated where nothing was left, face all cut while the rest were either pummeled hard enough to break everything except for the vital organs.
On the other hand, Rei stood proud and intimidating as he wiped off his sickles before putting them into its sheath behind his back. Blood splattered over his black coat and face, his eyes calculated and sharp before depowering down as there were no visible injuries over him.
"Senior." Rei called out upon noticing her, "I have incapacitated individual Gregory who's an S rank but left him alive for now. Should we call a medic before interrogation for anything or let the enforcers take over for now?" He asked which surprised Eunji due to his tone and mannerism which didn't falter at such a brutal outcome of his fight.
Gregory was still conscious and numb after being defeated by Rei. Traumatized both physically and mentally, not because of the injured but rather the one who defeated him instead.
After all, through his perspective from the assault after summoning his territory. Rei who looked almost like a grim reaper with darkness all over him due to the black wisp emitting from his body while more tendrils sprouted out as the barrier broke from the spiritual energy that he released.
Total darkness that devoured him and everything around. Death, who came by themselves to harvest a soul once again. A calamity that took no hesitation to claim tragedy upon its path.
