Chapter 117 - The Secret of the Island

Hades looked at his brothers and said:

"Why should we exhaust ourselves thinking about this danger? We should simply ask Odin… and he will tell us."

As soon as he said that—

Poseidon looked at him mockingly and said:

"Huh? And since when does Odin tell us anything, brother?"

Then he added while shrugging:

"He always hides secrets."

Athena interrupted her brothers and said seriously:

"That doesn't matter right now."

Then she continued:

"What matters is that we do exactly what Odin asked us to do."

She added:

"We must help the children become rulers… but without them realizing it."

Then she asked:

"Do you understand?"

Hades sighed and said:

"Yes… you're right."

Then he added seriously:

"We must prepare for the future."

He continued:

"We need to train a strong fighting force that will stand with us against our enemies."

The three siblings looked at each other one last time seriously…

Then they vanished from the place, each heading in a different direction.

Meanwhile—

Odin was standing at the entrance of a cave where his twin daughters lived.

He paused for a moment, then said loudly:

"My daughters… I want to speak with you."

As soon as he said that—

the twins' voices came from inside the cave:

"Come in, Father."

When he heard that—

he slowly entered the cave.

He was thinking about the uneasy feeling that had been following him for some time.

He tried to ignore it… but the feeling kept growing stronger.

He felt that a great danger was approaching.

That was why he came to his daughters…

because he knew they possessed a strange ability to see things others could not.

As soon as Odin entered the cave—

he saw the twins sitting on the ground in the darkness.

They were looking at him calmly.

He stepped forward slightly and said:

"I came because I feel—"

But before he could finish—

the twins spoke calmly at the same time:

"We know why you came, Father."

Then they added:

"You came to ask about the feeling that has been following you since Forn arrived on the island."

When Odin heard that—

he said quickly:

"Exactly!"

Then he continued with concern:

"What is this feeling?"

He added:

"I'm certain I could kill Forn easily… and I don't think anyone could find our island easily."

Then he said with clear worry:

"So… why do I feel this annoying anxiety?"

The twins looked at each other for a moment.

After a few seconds—

they said calmly:

"Forn's arrival to Asgard… is both a blessing and a curse at the same time, Father."

When Odin heard that—

he quickly said:

"What? And why—"

But before he could finish—

the twins waved their hands slightly and said:

"That is all we can tell you, Father."

Then they added:

"Do not focus on Forn…"

"Focus on the one who is searching for her."

After that—

the twins closed their eyes.

It was a clear sign that their conversation had ended.

Odin looked at them silently for several moments.

Then he turned and left the cave.

As he walked out, he said to himself:

"It seems I will need another raven…"

Then he added:

"One eye outside… is not enough."

At that moment—

Odin saw through the eyes of his raven what was happening far away.

The raven was flying toward the continent of Mira…

During its flight—

it discovered a strange island in the middle of the sea.

An island that seemed abandoned… and mysterious.

So Odin said through the connection that linked him to the raven:

"Go… and discover what is on that island."

As soon as the raven heard its master Odin's command, it flew quickly toward the island.

It moved silently, hiding within the shadows, trying to sneak quietly without being seen.

After several minutes—

the raven found a ruined castle in the center of the island.

When Odin saw it through the raven's eyes—

he ordered it to move closer.

And indeed…

a few moments later, the raven was sitting on one of the broken walls of the castle.

From there—

Odin began observing what was happening inside.

He noticed that the castle was protected by elves… along with some humans… and even some demi-humans.

When Odin saw that—

he felt he might be wasting his time.

So he told the raven to leave and continue its journey.

But—

the raven sent him a strange sensation it was feeling.

As soon as Odin felt what his raven was sensing—

he was slightly surprised and thought to himself:

"Oh… it seems a good show is about to happen."

Through the raven, he sensed a powerful demonic aura approaching the island.

The island that the castle was protecting.

And indeed—

after only a few moments…

the clouds in the sky turned dark black.

Demonic energy spread throughout the area.

When the castle commander sensed that—

he immediately began shouting orders.

He yelled at the mages:

"Create a magical barrier immediately to protect the castle!"

Then he ordered one of his men:

"Send an urgent magical message to the nearby islands… tell them to come support us!"

And indeed—

the mages executed the orders quickly.

They sent the magical messages…

and created a massive magical barrier that surrounded the entire castle.

When the commander saw the barrier completed…

and confirmed the messages had been sent—

he sighed in relief.

He thought to himself:

"It seems this attack is small."

He believed that because—

if the attack were truly powerful…

the demons would have surrounded the castle with dark magic to block magical communication.

But since the message had been sent successfully—

it meant the attack was not dangerous.

But—

before his sense of relief could settle—

one of the nearby knights suddenly spoke in a strange voice:

"What is that…?"

Then he said nervously:

"What is that black shadow in the ocean?"

When the commander heard that—

anger appeared on his face.

He shouted at the knight:

"What nonsense are you talking about, knight?!"

Then he added angrily:

"Did you drink wine during your watch or what?!"

But the knight waved his hand quickly while looking at the other soldiers and said:

"No… no, sir!"

Then he pointed toward the sea and said:

"Look for yourself! That black shadow is spreading… look!"

When the commander heard that—

he looked toward the ocean and said mockingly:

"Fine… I'm looking. Where is that black shad—"

But—

he suddenly stopped speaking.

He froze in place.

His eyes trembled as he stared at the distant sea.

Then he said in a quiet voice:

"What… is that?"

Then he whispered:

"What the hell is that shadow?"

Before anyone could respond—

one of the mages ran toward him and said:

"Sir!"

Then he added with great concern:

"We are receiving magical distress signals from the nearby islands!"

When the castle commander heard that—

he immediately understood what was happening.

And he realized that the situation…

was not what he had thought at all.
