Chapter 123 - The Newborn

After the laughter and jokes between them—

each of them returned to their home.

As soon as Forn and Athena entered the house—

Athena said calmly:

"Do you know? What Hades said… wasn't that bad."

Forn looked at her in confusion and said:

"And what exactly did Hades say?"

Athena looked at her confidently and replied in a calm voice:

"Why don't you marry my brother?"

Then she continued:

"Since you don't want the throne…"

she added:

"Why not settle here?"

Forn looked at her in greater shock and said:

"And how do you know that I don't want the throne, Athena?"

Athena answered calmly:

"It's obvious from your face and your behavior."

Then she continued:

"Someone who wants to leave a place… doesn't care about it."

"And doesn't try to make friends."

Forn looked at her sarcastically, about to respond—

but Athena waved her hand as she entered her room, closed the door, and said:

"And also… your feelings for Odin are obvious, you fool."

The moment Forn heard that—

she shouted, her voice filled with embarrassment and anger:

"What are you saying, you idiot?!"

Then she continued:

"Odin?! I love him?!"

She added:

"You must have gone crazy!"

But Athena didn't respond…

she had already fallen asleep.

Or perhaps… she was pretending.

Forn looked at Athena's door—

and realized she couldn't barge in.

Since the first day they lived together—

they had agreed on certain rules.

The most important one:

never enter the other's room.

Forn sighed in embarrassment…

then ran to her room.

She slammed the door shut and said loudly—hoping Athena would hear:

"Tomorrow… I'll show you, you idiot!"

She sat on her bed with difficulty…

her face still flushed.

Then she began to think:

"Am I… really in love with Odin?"

She thought for a moment—

then realized the truth.

Yes…

she was in love with him.

She always felt nervous around him…

blushed at anything he said…

and listened to him without اعتراض.

She thought it was because she feared his power.

But…

since she gave him the spear—

and saw how he used it…

and how he forged his strength with it—

she no longer feared him.

And yet…

she still obeyed him.

Only then—

she understood.

It wasn't fear.

It was…

love.

Her face grew even redder, and she whispered to herself:

"But… does he love me too?"

She didn't know the answer.

But she knew one thing—

she couldn't stay silent any longer.

If things continued like this…

Odin might realize her feelings on his own.

So—

she made a promise in her heart as she tried to sleep:

tomorrow, she would tell him.

Not only confess her love—

but also ask him the question she had always wondered:

"Why are there no others of your kind… except you, your brothers… and these children?"

This question had been on her mind for a long time.

But she never found the right moment to ask.

Now…

the time had come.

She slowly closed her eyes—

and drifted to sleep with that decision.

Far from Forn's room…

far from Athena's house…

far from the entire village—

on the shores of Asgard—

Odin stood alone.

Calm…

in the darkness.

Suddenly—

a black shadow fell from the sky before him.

The moment he saw it—

he waved his hand dismissively and said:

"You go."

Then he added coldly:

"I'll handle this matter."

"Carry out the mission I gave you."

Then, in a firm tone, he said:

"Infiltrate the Dwarven Kingdom…"

"And kidnap that famous dwarf… the genius blacksmith."

As soon as he said that—

Odin felt a massive shadow in the night sky.

He looked up…

the shadow nodded with a strange-shaped head, then flew away at incredible speed.

Odin raised his gaze slightly—

then looked at the five ravens standing before him.

He smiled cunningly and thought:

"When I'm done with this…"

"I'll have eyes… everywhere."

He laughed mockingly—

and raised his hand slightly.

Suddenly—

he and the five ravens vanished.

Far from Asgard…

and far from Odin's ambitions—

in the Demonic Continent…

inside Medusa's cave—

Medusa watched through the eyes of her snakes—

the destruction unfolding outside.

She laughed and said to herself:

"This is too easy…"

Then added mockingly:

"When the time comes to wage war on the continent of Mira…"

"Wiping out those pathetic insects will be trivial."

She laughed coldly…

but after a while—

she grew bored.

So she decided to cut her connection with the snakes.

But suddenly—

an idea crossed her mind.

She said to herself:

"Strange…"

"I haven't seen the demonic ravens for a while."

With a sinister smile, she added:

"I miss watching them tear apart their prey."

She looked up at the sky through one of her snakes—

and waited…

but nothing appeared.

Time passed…

still nothing.

At that moment—

suspicion crept into Medusa's mind.

"They are cautious…"

"And terrifyingly good at hiding…"

"But not to this extent."

Then she wondered with slight concern:

"Where are they?"

"It's impossible for an army to leave the Demonic Continent…"

"without at least one or two ravens following it."

But—

there was no trace.

Not even a shadow.

She ordered her snakes:

"If you see any demonic raven… inform me immediately."

Then she cut the connection.

She thought for a moment…

then shook her head:

"It doesn't matter for now."

With a sly smile, she said:

"I should check on the eggs that hatched two days ago…"

"Perhaps a special offspring will appear…"

"Seven heads… or even eight."

She laughed—

then slithered deeper into the cave.

When she reached the bottom—

she saw millions of eggs…

beginning to hatch.

She stood watching eagerly and said:

"I hope to see eight-headed snakes…"

And suddenly—

her wish came true.

A small snake emerged from its egg…

with eight heads.

Medusa's eyes widened—

and she shouted in joy:

"Amazing!"

She rushed toward it and said:

"My beautiful child… with eight heads!"

But—

before she could finish celebrating…

she noticed something strange.

A nearby egg…

looked different.

She stopped.

Stared at it carefully and said:

"I don't remember laying an egg like this…"

She stepped closer:

"Did it mutate?"

She watched it for a few seconds—

suddenly—

the egg trembled.

Medusa slowly smiled:

"Oh… this is interesting."

She whispered:

"What will come out of this egg?"

Moments later—

the egg cracked.

Then…

it broke.

And the mysterious creature emerged into the light.

The moment Medusa saw it—

she approached immediately.

She abandoned the eight-headed snake—

and focused all her attention on this creature.

She bent down…

and lifted it in her hands.

Her eyes widened in real shock—

and she said in a trembling voice:

"How…?!"

"How is this even possible…?!"
