š Scene ā The Confrontation Between the King and the Queen
The Dragon King hid⦠and waited.
He didn't have to wait long. Within minutes, he sensed his wife approaching the cave again, flying cautiously, glancing around to make sure he had truly left.
He watched her in silence, sighing with a faint, mocking smile at her behavior, then concealed himself perfectly to see what she would do.
Once the Dragon Queen was certain that no one was aroundāand that her husband had indeed leftā
she smirked and said sarcastically:
"The wise king? Hah⦠they should have called him the foolish king."
She entered the cave confidently, heading toward her son, wanting to check if he had awakened.
Butā¦
The moment she stepped inside, she felt something behind her.
She slowly turnedā
Only to find the Dragon King standing there, staring at her with cold anger as he said:
"The foolish king? So⦠that's how you see me? The wife of the foolish king?"
ā” An Iron Grip
Before she could respond or defend herselfā
He reached out, grabbed her by the neck, and flew her away from the cave.
He did not want to punish her near their sonā¦
But somewhere isolated.
After flying for a short distance, he reached an empty area with no one around, then threw her in front of him and said:
"Won't you defend yourself?"
š„ An Explosion of Anger
The Dragon Queen glared at him, forcefully pushing his hand away from her neck, and said:
"Do not speak to me like that!"
Then she added sharply:
"When you take revenge on whoever did this to our son⦠then come punish me however you like. But now⦠you do not deserve to be my husband⦠nor the King of Dragons."
š§ A Bitter Truth
The king looked at her in silence, understanding her meaning.
He shook his head slightly and said:
"So⦠that's why you haven't spoken to me since our son was injured?"
Then he added:
"You think I don't want revenge?"
She turned her gaze away, as if she couldn't bear to look at him, and said:
"Yes."
āļø The Chains That Bind
The Dragon King let out a deep breath and said, his voice filled with restrained anger:
"I⦠cannot even go to the place where our son was injured."
She looked at him in genuine shock this time:
"How?! You're not lying⦠are you?"
He shook his head, his tone sharp:
"The giants are protecting the one who did it. They are there⦠and they haven't left."
He clenched his fist and continued:
"I cannot take revenge⦠unless I wage a massive war against the giants."
š The Balance of Power
He paused, then spoke more calmly, though still firm:
"And you know very well⦠that war is not in our favor right now."
He looked at her directly and added:
"The races under our rule⦠are not yet strong enough to support us in such a war."
She listened to him, and the anger and frustration in her heart began to fade⦠but she couldn't hide her pain. She said bitterly:
"Then what do we do now? Will we not avenge our son?! Look at him⦠his body was covered in wounds⦠he was on the verge of death!"
For a moment, fury flared in the Dragon King's eyes, but he quickly regained control and said firmly:
"There is nothing we can do right now. We should be grateful to our ancestors for his survival⦠and protect him so this never happens again."
Then he added with quiet resolve:
"But⦠I will take revenge. I will not let them escape."
She nodded in understanding. She knew his strength⦠and the truth in his words.
Butā
Before she could feel any reliefā
His expression suddenly changed.
ā” An Unexpected Outburst
He stepped closer, his voice cold and laced with mockery:
"By the way⦠do you know what they call me now?"
She looked at him, confused:
"What?"
A chilling smile spread across his face as he leaned closer and said:
"The foolish king."
In the next momentā
He struck her across the head.
Then again.
And again.
And againā¦
He kept hitting her violently, without stopping.
Until she began begging him to stopā
But he didn't.
𩸠Shattered Dignity
After a long timeā¦
He finally stopped.
Not out of mercy⦠but boredom.
Then he said coldly:
"I'm leaving now. Take care of yourself."
She looked at him, tears in her eyes, and said in pain:
"Why are you doing this to me? I didn't do anythingā¦"
He laughed as he walked away and said:
"Don't forget⦠I am the King of Dragons. I do not accept being insulted⦠not even by my wife."
Then he left.
š The Seed of Revenge
She stood there, watching him disappearā¦
Then whispered with burning anger:
"I will take revenge on you⦠I will show everyone what you really are⦠an old fool."
The Dragon King did not knowā¦
That this momentā
was the beginning of the fall of his prestige among his people.
š° In the Human Empire
Elsewhereā¦
The Crown Prince stood before his father and said with a sigh:
"I couldn't obtain the flower⦠when I arrived, the dragons had already taken it."
The emperor looked at him calmly and said:
"There's no need to be upset, my son. You know⦠when dragons get involved in something⦠it becomes beyond our reach."
The two began discussing their next stepsā¦
And how humanity could grow stronger.
š¦ In the Shadows
At the same timeā¦
A small raven was flying over a snowy region within the human empire.
It was searchingā¦
Watchingā¦
Spying.
It didn't expect to find anything important.
Butā¦
What it was about to discoverā
would be far more dangerous than it ever imagined.
