The Fallen Angel did not hesitate.
He swiftly raised his hand and condensed a strange black aura, attempting to catch the spear hurtling toward him.
However, he had greatly underestimated its power.
The spear's terrifying force made it impossible for him to stop it with a single arm.
It slipped from his grasp.
And struck his chest with tremendous force.
The moment it pierced him, bolts of lightning erupted from the spear embedded in his chest, suddenly paralyzing his body.
Yet he reacted quickly.
A terrifying black aura burst from him and forcibly pushed the spear away from his chest.
But the instant he did so, the spear flew back into Odin's hand.
Odin did not waste a single moment.
He attacked immediately.
His warhorse surged forward with overwhelming power.
In less than a second, he was standing before the Fallen Angel.
The Fallen Angel was shocked by the speed of the assault.
But he quickly drew his scythe.
And used it to block Odin's strike.
The weapons collided.
A violent eruption of black energy and crackling lightning exploded from the point of impact.
Odin smiled coldly.
Then he raised his hand toward the sky.
The moment he did...
Dark clouds gathered above them.
Lightning began flashing within them, threatening to destroy any living being foolish enough to challenge its power.
The Fallen Angel glanced upward.
His expression darkened.
Then he looked back at Odin.
No longer did he view him as someone weaker than himself.
Instead, he regarded him as an enemy whose power rivaled his own.
A black aura erupted from the Fallen Angel.
It condensed above his head, forming a strange circle.
At the same time, a terrifying dark aura completely enveloped his body.
Odin looked at the Fallen Angel as he assumed a battle stance.
Then he said with a trace of pity,
"I hope you survive this."
The moment he spoke those words, he let out a powerful roar.
His hand clenched into a fist.
Then he slammed it downward and shouted,
"Receive my wrath!"
The heavens trembled violently.
A terrifying bolt of lightning condensed within the clouds.
Then it descended toward the Fallen Angel with overwhelming force.
The Fallen Angel had no idea how powerful the attack truly was.
But he immediately understood that it was extremely dangerous.
Therefore, he propelled himself backward.
At the same time, he released a horrifying black aura that condensed above him.
It took the form of the face of a gigantic demon.
The lightning bolt crashed down.
And collided with the demon's face.
A massive explosion echoed through the sky.
But after a fierce struggle...
The lightning pierced through the demonic visage.
And shot directly toward the Fallen Angel.
His expression darkened when he saw it approaching.
He raised his hand toward it.
Then said coldly, with anger in his voice,
"Aura of Death."
The moment those words left his lips, a black aura appeared around his hand—vastly different from the one he had been using before.
It was denser.
Darker.
And far more terrifying.
That aura intercepted the gigantic lightning strike that was about to hit him.
The sky shook from the intensity of the collision.
After successfully blocking Odin's attack, the Fallen Angel looked toward him.
He intended to mock him.
But Odin was no longer there.
The Fallen Angel immediately turned toward the island.
And there he saw him.
Odin was already standing atop the island.
The Fallen Angel roared in fury,
"How?! How dare you toy with me, you fool?!"
The moment he shouted those words, a horrifying Aura of Death erupted from his body.
It surged outward.
Spreading through the heavens with tremendous force.
The color of the world suddenly turned black.
Darkness spread across the horizon at a terrifying speed.
Even the sea itself appeared to be drowning in shadow.
Those watching the battle from afar were terrified by the spread of that dreadful aura.
They fled as quickly as they could.
But one person did not run.
The Princess of the Merfolk remained where she was.
She had been hiding deep beneath the sea.
And she saw this as a rare opportunity.
The person guarding the island had been driven into a rage and was no longer thinking as rationally as before.
Thus, the Princess of the Merfolk saw a golden chance to sneak onto the island and seize some treasures while the two monsters were occupied with their battle.
She could not help but wonder about the identity of the man riding the winged horse.
Who was he?
What race did he belong to?
And how had he managed to provoke the Fallen Angel to such an extent?
But she quickly shook her head.
This was not the time to dwell on such matters.
She needed to focus on taking advantage of the opportunity before her.
Any distraction could cost her life.
As for Odin...
He looked toward the sky and then toward the Fallen Angel, who was raging outside the boundaries of the island.
Odin knew very well that the Fallen Angel was not foolish enough to move the battlefield onto the island itself.
If that happened...
The island would become a disaster zone.
Countless priceless treasures would be destroyed by their clash.
That was why the Fallen Angel remained outside the island.
Patiently waiting for Odin to emerge.
Eager to kill him the moment he appeared.
Odin laughed coldly.
He was confident in his own strength.
And he knew that if he fought a true battle against the Fallen Angel, he would eventually emerge victorious.
For that reason, he paid little attention to the Fallen Angel's anger.
Instead, he began wandering through the treasure-filled island with great interest.
His eyes examined everything with the gaze of an expert.
Carefully evaluating the worth of every treasure he encountered.
During his exploration...
He spotted a beautiful red flower growing atop a white stone.
The moment his eyes landed on it, he wanted to pick it immediately.
The aura emanating from it alone was enough to tell him that it was an extraordinarily precious treasure.
But he firmly shook his head.
And forced himself to walk away.
He remembered the words of the Three Seers.
He knew he could not take too many treasures.
If he did...
He would provoke the anger of every great power in the world.
So he continued walking calmly.
Carefully evaluating the treasures around him.
Searching only for the five finest treasures.
Meanwhile, far from the island...
The angels had already begun to move.
They launched an assault on one of the fortresses controlled by the demons.
The Archangel stood calmly atop a flying war island.
He looked down at the island below him.
Then said in a cold voice,
"Advance."
"I don't want to see a single demon survive on that island."
The moment the order was given...
Dozens of angels launched themselves from the flying war island.
They descended like white meteors.
Heading straight toward the fallen island filled with demons.
The Archangel watched them calmly.
Then he turned his gaze toward the horizon.
Specifically toward the direction of Treasure Island.
His eyes narrowed slightly.
Then he chuckled softly.
"It seems someone has caused trouble over there."
He thought for a few moments.
Then turned toward one of his Twelve High Angels.
"Go."
"Find out what's happening."
The angel bowed respectfully.
Then vanished from his spot.
Rushing toward Treasure Island at tremendous speed.
The angels were not the only ones who reacted.
After the terrifying Aura of Death spread near the island...
Every major power in the world sensed it.
The Dragon King sensed it.
The Titan Lord sensed it.
Even the kings and great leaders felt that strange energy.
As a result, each of them dispatched one of their strongest subordinates to investigate.
And discover what was happening there.
On another front...
The Demon King was observing the island from afar.
His eyes gradually narrowed.
Then he spoke in a strange tone.
"This isn't normal."
He looked toward one of his Nine Governors standing nearby.
Then added,
"Go."
"Find out what is happening there."
"Why is the Fallen Angel releasing his power in such a manner?"
The moment he finished speaking...
One of the Nine Governors appeared beside him.
Then vanished in the next instant.
Racing toward Treasure Island at a terrifying speed.
And so...
While Odin calmly wandered among the treasures...
And while the Fallen Angel waited outside the island, eager to kill him...
The attention of every great power in the world gradually turned toward Treasure Island.
Without any of them realizing...
That the events about to unfold would not merely be a struggle over treasures.
They would mark the beginning of a change that would shake the entire world.
