Even after the individuals dispatched by the world's great powers to investigate Treasure Island had departed, the ferocity of the war did not diminish in the slightest.
Instead, it grew even more intense and widespread.
Legions of demonic armies were transferred from the Demon Continent to the Fallen Islands under the direct orders of the Demon King.
At the same time, Bloody Mary sent thousands of ghosts to the Fallen Islands to aid the demons in their escalating war.
Far from the demons and spirits, the angels watched the battlefield from above, standing upon their floating war island high in the sky.
The Archangel stood at the edge of the island, his eyes fixed upon the blazing war below—a conflict that spread from one island to another like a wildfire consuming everything in its path.
He let out a quiet sigh as he looked at the relatively small size of his army compared to the forces of the other races.
Under his command were only a few thousand warriors.
Then he spoke in a low voice while observing the battles below.
"I wish we possessed subordinate races like those dragons."
"If we had such numbers at our disposal, movement and warfare would be far easier."
The moment he finished speaking, he shook his head slightly and turned toward one of his Twelve High Angels.
"Let's head for the Demon King's throne."
"Prolonging this war serves none of our interests."
"We do not wish to give the demons, with their overwhelming numbers, any chance of victory."
"We must crush them quickly with our strength before we exhaust ourselves fighting countless low-level demons that are ultimately worthless."
As soon as he finished speaking, the angel bowed respectfully.
Then he moved to take control of the flying island and guide it toward the gathering grounds of the demon race.
Meanwhile...
The Titan Lord stood upon the surface of the ocean near the Fallen Islands, calmly observing the sky.
Then he spoke in a low voice.
"It seems the angel race has no desire to let this war drag on."
A few moments later, a faint smile appeared on his face.
"And they're right."
"We don't want that either."
He raised his gigantic hand and issued the order to advance.
Soon afterward, the Titan army began moving toward the territories occupied by the dragons, preparing for the coming confrontation.
Far away from the movements of the Titans and angels...
The Dragon Prince, whom the Dragon King had previously imprisoned on the Continent of Mira, was finally leaving the continent.
He walked across dragon territory with a sinister smile on his face as he spoke to himself.
"The guards Father left behind to watch our lands were complete fools..."
"I escaped from them with ease."
A small laugh full of confidence escaped his lips.
However, that laughter quickly vanished when he remembered the injuries he had suffered during his previous battle.
His expression changed for a brief moment.
A cold and dark look appeared in his eyes.
Then he touched the place where his old wounds had once been and smiled faintly as he thought about those who had inflicted them upon him.
He spoke in a low voice filled with hatred.
"I will take revenge on those who wounded me."
Then his smile widened as he added,
"And I will prove to Father that I am no longer that weak little child."
"I have grown."
"And I have become an adult dragon."
He burst into laughter once more as he sped across the sky.
Violent winds howled around him.
Clouds were torn apart in his wake.
And he surged toward his next destination without the slightest hesitation.
That destination was...
Asgard.
The land where he had once suffered humiliation.
The land he had sworn to return to one day.
But this time...
He was not returning as a reckless prince seeking glory.
He was returning as a fully grown dragon carrying within his heart a burning desire for revenge and the determination to prove his strength to the entire world.
In Asgard, Thor was busy inspecting the kingdom's armory.
He personally checked the condition of the weapons and armor and supervised the training of the new warriors who had recently joined the army's ranks.
Nor did he stop there.
He also moved between the various training grounds, keeping an eye on the children who showed promising potential to become rulers of the next generation in the future.
He paid attention to every detail in Asgard and carried out his responsibilities with complete seriousness, especially in Odin's absence and while Apollo was occupied with other duties.
But suddenly...
Thor stopped everything he was doing.
The focused expression on his face vanished, replaced by surprise.
He had sensed a strange yet familiar summons.
A summons that could come from only one place.
The Three Seers.
Thor's eyes widened slightly in shock.
The Three Seers rarely summoned anyone except Odin.
Even after Odin had entered his long period of secluded training, they had only called for Apollo on the few occasions when a great danger threatened Asgard or endangered the plans for the future.
For that reason, Thor immediately realized that this matter was extremely serious.
He raised his head toward the distant mountain where the Three Seers resided.
Then he launched himself across the skies of Asgard at tremendous speed.
As he flew, thoughts raced through his mind.
"Why have the Seers summoned me at this time?"
"What danger threatens us badly enough for them to intervene personally?"
"Did something happen in the Fallen Islands?"
"Or has the War of the Races spiraled out of control?"
Questions crowded his mind without end.
After a short while, he arrived at the sacred mountain.
Landing before the entrance of the great cave, he bowed respectfully, as his father's teachings required.
The moment he did so, the voices of the Three Seers echoed from within the cave in a single mysterious tone.
"Enter, Thor... son of Odin."
Thor slowly rose to his feet and stepped into the cave with caution and respect.
The place was unusually dark and silent.
With every step, he felt a mysterious aura surrounding the entire cavern.
When he finally reached its depths, he saw the Three Seers standing before him.
He bowed once more and said respectfully,
"May I know why you have summoned me?"
One of the Seers stepped forward and spoke in a calm voice.
"Someone will soon arrive in Asgard."
Thor frowned in confusion.
Before he could speak, the Seer continued,
"We want you to deal with him and ensure that no mistake occurs that might affect the plans to merge Asgard with the island the other rulers are bringing."
Thor looked at them in bewilderment.
"And who would dare come here in the first place?"
Then he added more seriously,
"Any creature that attempts to reach Asgard is devoured by Poseidon's sea monsters before it can even approach the kingdom's borders."
Silence filled the cave for a few moments.
Then the Three Seers exchanged glances.
They nodded to one another as though they had reached an agreement.
Thor did not understand what had passed between them, but he felt that he was about to learn the truth.
Suddenly...
The Three Seers raised their hands simultaneously.
In the next instant, a dense mist spread throughout the cave.
The walls disappeared.
The ceiling vanished.
Even the mountain itself was gone.
Thor felt as though he had been transported elsewhere.
When he looked up, he found himself gazing into the open sky while an endless ocean stretched beneath him.
He immediately understood that what he was seeing was not reality, but a magical vision being shown to him by the Seers.
Although he was surprised by the method they had chosen, he focused on the scene before him.
Then he noticed something moving on the distant horizon.
Something enormous.
As it drew closer, its features became clearer and clearer.
A colossal creature.
Its skin was crimson red.
It possessed gigantic wings that tore through the air as it flew.
Four massive arms covered in muscles and hardened scales extended from its body.
And its face was terrifying enough to strike fear into the hearts of entire armies.
The creature flew at incredible speed toward a single destination, as though nothing else in the world existed.
Thor's eyes widened as he watched the vision.
And in that moment, he understood the truth.
The danger the Three Seers wanted to warn him about...
Was not an army.
Nor was it a demonic invasion.
Nor was it a scheme devised by one of the rulers of the other races.
It was that gigantic creature itself.
Thor immediately sensed the immense power radiating from it.
A power he could never mistake.
His hand clenched into a fist.
Then he said in a low voice,
"So..."
"It's a dragon."
The vision continued before him as the red dragon tore through the sky at a maddening speed, drawing ever closer to its destination.
A destination that was none other than...
Asgard.
