Ol, Nott, and Yord had already reached the continent of Mira, completely unaware of what was happening elsewhere in the world.
They had no idea that Thor, accompanied by Sol and Ran, was currently engaged in a fierce battle against the son of the Dragon King, nor that the three of them were gradually being forced backward.
They were entirely focused on the mission assigned to them by the three Seers.
They had no time to think about anything else.
The moment the three rulers reached the borders of the continent of Mira...
Yord stopped for a few moments.
Then she immediately used her power.
The ground beneath their feet began to tremble.
Rocks slowly shifted.
Then the earth opened before them, revealing a massive hole.
Yord gradually widened it until it became an enormous tunnel stretching beneath the ground.
Their choice of route was not a coincidence.
The borders of the continent of Mira were heavily protected by all the races inhabiting it because of the Great War.
It was nearly impossible to enter the continent directly without being detected by one of those races.
Therefore...
Yord decided to use her power over the earth to carve a path beneath the borders, allowing them to enter without attracting any attention.
Ol, Nott, and Yord entered the enormous tunnel Yord had created.
Once they were underground...
Nott used his power.
Darkness quietly spread around them, then wrapped itself around their three bodies.
They became almost invisible within the darkness.
Even someone passing close to them would have difficulty seeing them.
Yord did not stop there.
She continued using her power and began digging the tunnel beneath the earth, heading from the borders of the continent of Mira toward the tunnels where the Dark Elves lived in the center of the continent.
They continued like this for some time.
As Yord kept digging...
Nott began to grow bored.
He sighed, then looked at his brother and Yord.
"Hmm... What do you two think about this mission?"
"I think the Dark Elves must have done something, or perhaps summoned an evil spirit connected to darkness. That's why their power and influence have increased."
"That's probably why the three Seers ordered us to investigate."
Yord stopped digging for a moment and thought about Nott's words.
Then she calmly replied,
"No... I don't think so."
"If they had truly summoned a power or spirit related to their race into this world from the Spirit World, the three Seers would have known about it."
She continued thinking aloud,
"Such a process requires a long time and special rituals. It would be nearly impossible for the Seers not to sense something like that during the process."
Nott looked at Yord for a few moments.
Then he nodded.
Afterward, he turned toward his brother, Ol.
"What do you think, brother? Do you have a different theory?"
Ol looked at the two of them with annoyance.
Then said irritably,
"Stop talking and focus on our current mission."
He looked at them seriously before adding,
"I hope the two of you won't be the reason I fail."
Silence filled the tunnel for a few moments.
Yord and Nott looked at Ol awkwardly, especially because of his overly serious and irritating attitude toward the mission.
Even so...
Ol never stopped concentrating.
Yord returned to digging the tunnel.
Nott continued monitoring their surroundings.
And the three of them continued deeper into the continent of Mira.
Far away from the continent of Mira...
In Asgard...
The three Seers remained in their place, watching the events unfolding from afar.
A long time had passed since Thor, Sol, and Ran had left Asgard to confront the dragon.
As time went on...
One of the Seers began to grow worried.
She said,
"We've waited for too long."
"If we don't help Thor now, his situation will become even worse, and something terrible might happen to him."
One of the Seers looked at her sisters before saying,
"Let's order Heimdall to assist them using his arrows."
The other Seer frowned.
"But Heimdall can't fire many arrows at them, and they won't be of much help."
"Dragons possess an ability to sense danger and predict incoming threats. The dragon may be able to detect the arrows before they reach it."
Silence fell for a few moments.
Then the third sister looked at them and calmly said,
"But this is all we can do for now."
"We cannot provide any greater assistance."
The three Seers thought carefully about the matter.
It was clear that their options were limited.
They could not intervene directly.
And sending more rulers into the battle could leave Asgard without sufficient protection.
After a short while...
The other two Seers agreed with their sister's decision.
They then sent a message to Heimdall.
The message was clear:
He must support Thor, Sol, and Ran of Asgard with his arrows, providing them with all possible assistance without endangering Asgard itself.
As soon as the message arrived...
The next phase of the battle began.
