The Human Emperor looked at the army of black beasts that was surrounding and attacking him at the same time. Then, he raised his eyes toward the enormous crow standing before him.
The beasts were closing in from all directions, while the crow watched him calmly and mockingly.
The Emperor realized that the situation had become extremely dangerous.
If he continued fighting like this, there would be no chance for him to escape.
The Emperor clenched his fist and said in a firm tone:
"Fine... If my death here is inevitable, then you will die with me."
The moment he finished speaking...
The temperature around him began to rise dramatically.
The air surrounding his body trembled from the intense heat, while the ocean and sky around him began to be affected by the tremendous energy he had released.
The black beasts charged toward him from every direction.
But...
The moment they got close to him, their bodies began to burn.
The black creatures were engulfed in flames and, within moments, turned into ash.
The beasts attacking him disappeared one after another, unable to even get close to the Emperor.
The crow looked at the Emperor mockingly.
Then it said:
"Do your worst, old man."
The moment the mysterious figure said that...
The enormous crow spread its wings.
A black aura spread throughout the sky around it.
Then...
Dozens of black spears suddenly appeared in the air.
The spears were enormous and covered in a terrifying dark energy.
In the next moment...
They all shot toward the Emperor.
At the same time, the army of black beasts charged toward him once again.
The Emperor was now surrounded from all directions.
He looked at the armies and the spears rushing toward him.
He clenched his fist tightly.
Then...
He punched the air in front of him with all his strength.
BOOOOM!
The moment his fist was thrown...
The color of the sky changed.
The sky became covered in an intensely bright golden-red light, and a massive wave of energy erupted from the Emperor's punch.
The wave swept across the area.
With a single attack...
A large portion of the army of beasts surrounding him vanished.
The black spears were shattered as well, falling from the sky.
The crow stared at the scene in shock.
It had not expected the Emperor to possess such power.
Then he said to himself:
"He is fighting with all his strength..."
He paused for a moment.
Then he added:
"He is draining his own life."
The shock was obvious within him.
The crow realized that the Emperor no longer cared about what would happen to his body.
He was using his power to its absolute limit, even if it meant exhausting his own life force.
But...
Even so, the crow did not care much.
Instead, it opened its mouth once again.
Suddenly...
An even greater number of black beasts poured out of its mouth.
A new army of dark creatures emerged and charged toward the Emperor at tremendous speed.
The beasts surrounded the Emperor from all directions, tightening the encirclement even further.
The Emperor looked around in annoyance.
Then he said:
"Hah... Do you really think a few armies will be enough to stop me?"
Then...
He suddenly opened his mouth.
A tremendous amount of energy began gathering inside him.
In the next moment...
A raging storm of golden flames erupted from his mouth.
The flames surged in every direction.
They were immensely powerful and scorching hot, sweeping across the entire sky.
Within moments...
They annihilated every beast in the sky.
The black army had almost completely disappeared before that single attack.
The crow continued staring at the place where the army of beasts had been only moments ago.
The Emperor had wiped them out with a single move.
The crow narrowed its eyes.
Then it said to itself:
"Hmm... He won't be able to maintain this state for long."
Then it continued:
"I have to exhaust him."
But...
The moment it finished its thought...
It sensed danger.
It quickly raised its head.
The Emperor was right in front of it.
He had already reached it.
The Emperor raised his fist.
Then...
He punched with all his strength.
BOOOOM!
The force of the punch surged toward the crow.
But the mysterious figure reacted with incredible speed.
The mysterious figure emerged from the crow at that very moment, while the crow rapidly transformed into a massive black barrier that formed in front of the mysterious figure.
The barrier was covered in dense dark energy, and its purpose was to block the Emperor's attack.
And indeed...
The Emperor's fist collided with the black barrier.
DOOOOOM!
A terrifying golden-and-black aura erupted from the tremendous impact.
The energy spread in every direction, causing the air around them to tremble violently.
But...
There was no doubt that the Emperor's golden aura ultimately prevailed.
The golden energy began pushing the black aura backward.
Then, the black aura and the black barrier rapidly faded beneath the Emperor's overwhelming power.
At that moment...
The mysterious figure appeared once again.
It stared at the Emperor standing before it, ready to attack once more.
Anger was clearly visible on the Emperor's face.
As for the mysterious figure...
It looked at him mockingly.
Then it said:
"Why don't you just die, you bastard? It would be better for both you and me than all this pointless fighting."
