The Human Emperor looked at the mysterious figure who had managed to block his attack, and the anger in his eyes grew stronger.
Then he said:
"You managed to block it? Then..."
Before he could finish his words, he opened his hand, and suddenly, a sword made of fire formed in his left hand.
The flames that made up the sword were golden in color, incredibly hot, and pulsed with tremendous energy.
The Emperor gripped the sword with both hands, then charged forward and swung it with tremendous force toward the mysterious figure.
The sword strike tore through the air, carrying a devastating golden aura as it headed directly toward his opponent.
The mysterious figure looked at the sword-shaped aura made of golden flames as it approached at tremendous speed.
It looked slightly annoyed.
Then it said mockingly:
"Show me your best."
The moment it said that...
It raised its hand and pointed it toward the sky.
Suddenly...
The sky trembled.
A terrifying black aura began gathering above, then descended from the sky at tremendous speed.
The black aura headed directly toward the Emperor's sword strike and collided with it in midair.
BOOOOM!
A massive explosion erupted.
The black aura managed to block the attack, but only with extreme difficulty.
In fact, the attack had nearly reached the mysterious figure, had it not managed to stop it at the last moment.
The Emperor saw this.
Then he suddenly disappeared from his position.
In an instant...
He appeared behind the mysterious figure.
He swung his palm with tremendous force.
But the mysterious figure immediately sensed the danger and retreated at incredible speed.
The moment it moved away...
A tornado of golden flames erupted in the area.
The tornado swept across the entire region, sending flames surging in every direction.
The mysterious figure had no choice but to condense a pure black aura around its body.
The black aura completely surrounded its body, preventing the flames from reaching it.
The flaming tornado continued for a while.
Then it gradually began to fade.
After the tornado disappeared...
The mysterious figure appeared once again.
Its clothes were burned in several places, but its body remained almost completely unharmed.
The attack had caused it no obvious injuries.
The Emperor glared at it angrily.
Then he prepared to attack it once again.
But this time...
He decided to attack from a distance.
He steadied his body in the sky, then brought his hands together and raised them upward.
A tremendous amount of golden fire energy began gathering between his hands.
The energy continued to condense little by little.
Until a massive sphere of golden flames was formed.
It resembled the sun in intensity, and its light illuminated the entire sky.
Then...
The Emperor hurled the sphere toward the mysterious figure.
The sphere shot forward at tremendous speed, carrying devastating power with it.
But the Emperor did not stop there.
At the same moment, he began condensing a wall of scorching energy around the area.
The golden aura spread throughout the surroundings, and the temperature rose dramatically, as if the Emperor wanted to seal off every possible escape route for his opponent.
His objective was clear.
He did not want to give the mysterious figure any opportunity to make a powerful move that could help it defend against the attack.
He wanted to force it to confront the golden sphere directly.
The sphere drew closer and closer.
But...
The mysterious figure looked at it with complete calm.
It did not appear frightened.
Quite the opposite...
It watched the fiery sphere as though it posed no real threat to it.
And the moment the sphere was about to hit it...
It sensed the Emperor's aura surrounding the area.
It narrowed its eyes slightly.
Then it said mockingly:
"An aura belonging to someone who is about to die, huh..."
It slowly extended its hand toward the incoming sphere.
And the moment its hand lightly touched the sphere...
Something strange happened.
The golden sphere began to change.
The color of the flames changed.
The golden light gradually disappeared, replaced by a dense darkness.
Within moments...
The entire sphere transformed into a terrifying black sphere.
But it did not stop there.
The sphere came completely under its control.
It stopped moving for a moment, as though it had lost the force that had been driving it forward.
Then...
The mysterious figure laughed.
It was a quiet laugh filled with obvious mockery.
It grabbed the black sphere and pushed it in the opposite direction.
The sphere shot toward the Emperor at tremendous speed.
Then it said:
"Take it, you bastard."
Then it added mockingly:
"Taste your own attack."
The Emperor looked at the black sphere that was now heading toward him.
His eyes widened slightly.
He was shocked by the way the mysterious figure had managed to completely transform his attack into black energy and send it back at him.
But...
A few moments later...
A faint smile appeared on the Emperor's face.
He had sensed something.
Something that made him realize that the situation had changed.
Then he laughed softly and said:
"You finally came, you fool."
