As soon as the Emperor of Humanity said that...
he opened his mouth, and his energy began to change abruptly.
He said confidently:
"I will now show you both... the power of the Emperor of the Human Race."
Then he added:
"The power inherited by every human emperor throughout the ages."
His aura suddenly intensified.
Forn and the mysterious figure prepared themselves immediately.
But...
Before either the mysterious figure or Forn could do anything...
The Emperor swiftly pulled a dagger from his clothes.
Forn looked at him in astonishment.
And in the next moment...
The Emperor stabbed himself with the dagger.
Forn and the mysterious figure's eyes widened.
But before they could comprehend what had happened...
The Emperor suddenly vanished from his spot in a bizarre manner.
Silence fell.
The mysterious figure looked at the spot where the Emperor had been standing.
Then said in shock:
"Did he trick us... and escape?"
Forn, too, looked at the same spot in amazement.
Then she turned to the mysterious figure above her and said:
"I think we've been tricked, haven't we?"
They looked at each other.
The shock was evident on their faces...
As well as anger.
They realized that the Emperor had exploited the moment they thought he was going to use his ultimate power, then executed his plan and escaped.
As for him...
He was already far away from the place.
And in another place...
On the shores of Asgard...
Hades and Athena were standing there to welcome Thor, Sol, and Ran upon their arrival in Asgard.
The three landed near them.
Hades looked at the group, then noticed that Thor seemed to be the only one among them who was injured during the recent events.
Hades stared at him for a few moments...
Then burst into laughter.
"Hahahaha!"
Thor looked at him in bewilderment.
As for Hades, he said sarcastically:
"Who hurt our Thor so badly?"
Then he laughed again.
"It seems things were really rough."
He paused for a moment, then said mockingly:
"He was strong, wasn't he? Hahaha."
Then he added:
"Do you want me to avenge you?"
Thor looked at him with obvious sarcasm and said:
"No, Uncle Hades."
Then he added:
"Just mind your own business, and don't concern yourself with my affairs."
Hades looked at him with a mockery he couldn't hide.
As for Thor...
He said to himself in displeasure:
"Hmph... This arrogant guy had to show up now, of all times."
Then he added to himself:
"So the annoying Poseidon must have also come along with the rest of the rulers and warriors."
Thor thought as he looked at Athena:
"It's a good thing Athena is here, to stop them from causing exhausting trouble..."
Then he added to himself:
"Especially since we are in a time of war."
