Phei smiled faintly to himself and pulled both women closer against him in the warm water. One arm stayed around Melissa's shoulders while the other wrapped around Delilah's waist, drawing her in until she was tucked properly against his side.
He could feel the slight tremor still running through her body.
The sunken pool was quiet except for the soft sound of water lapping at the edges and the occasional drip from the rainfall shower behind them. The steam had thinned just enough for the morning light to touch their skin in soft golden patches.
"So," said a small voice from somewhere above the steam, audible to exactly one person in the room, "I have thoughts."
