[FLASHBACK]
Blade woke up in some strange room." Where am I, and what is this place?" wondered the demon Shonetsu.
"I see our guest has awakened. Nice to meet you, I'm Gerard," said the leader of Black Blood.
"What do you want?" Blade asked nervously.
"There's no need to worry. I just want to learn a bit about your demon race and its language."
"You know what? Screw you." Blade lunged at the leader of Black Blood.
Gerard stood there as if nothing was happening, and at one point released his choki, causing even someone like Blade to freeze in place.
"What is this feeling? I can sense immense pressure from him," Blade thought.
"You see, fighting me is completely pointless."
Gerard instantly appeared next to Blade and knocked him to the ground with a knee strike to the stomach.
"I'll give you twenty-four hours to reconsider your decision. And I advise you change your attitude." With those words, Gerard left the room.
The next day, Blade tried to move, but felt something preventing him.
"What the?"
When he opened his eyes, he noticed he was strapped to a bed with strong restraints.
"There's no point struggling. You won't break free from those straps."
"Bastard, who are you?"
This time Gerard answered, "Blade, this is Professor Junak. He'll be conducting research on you."
"I hope you'll be a cooperative patient."
Blade tried with all his strength to break free, but it was useless.
"Damn it."
Suddenly, he noticed Junak reaching for a syringe and stabbing it into his arm. As soon as he did, Blade felt his strength fading.
"First, we'll examine your demonic blood."
"You sick bastards… you'll pay for this," Shonetsu growled.
"I'll leave you two alone. Have fun," Gerard said, leaving the room.
Once the leader of Black Blood was gone, Junak connected wires to Blade's body.
"What are you planning to do?"
"I need to see your demonic power, so I'll force you to use it," he announced, pulling a lever and sending electricity through the boy.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAARHAAAAAAAAAAA!" Blade howled in pain.
"Oh yes… your scream of agony is music to my ears. Come on rage!"
"I'll kill you…"
Junak's method worked, as Blade began releasing his demonic power. His body became surrounded by a purple aura, and moments later he effortlessly tore free from the restraining straps.
Blade instantly appeared in front of Junak, pierced straight through him, and ripped out his heart crushing it.
At that moment, a young boy rushed into the room after hearing the noise.
"Professor! What did you do to him, you bastard?" The boy immediately attacked Blade.
But Shonetsu, using his demonic choki, flung him across the room, slamming him into the wall.
"What's going on here?" Gerard appeared.
"Sir Gerard, that guy killed Professor Junak."
"I see. Camereon, return to your room. I'll handle him."
Camereon obeyed. Blade immediately charged at the leader of Black Blood, but even in this state, Gerard easily blocked the attack by catching his fist.
"I understand Junak forced you to use your demonic power. But even like this, you are no threat to me," Gerard said calmly.
Blade refused to give up and kept attacking, but Gerard dodged every strike. At one point, he grabbed Blade by the leg and slammed him into the wall.
"You still don't see the gap between our strength. I warned you to change your attitude."
Blade growled demonically and charged again. Suddenly he leapt, trying to strike from above.
"DIE!"
Gerard formed a sphere of energy in his hand and pressed it against Blade's stomach. The impact sent the boy crashing into the ceiling before he fell unconscious to the ground.
"Perhaps different conditions will make you change your mind." Gerard picked Blade up and took him elsewhere.
"Sir Gerard, please let me torment this kid," Camereon said.
"Why do you want to do that?"
"Because he killed Professor Junak. He was important to me. I want him to pay."
Gerard thought for a moment, then agreed. "Very well. Just remember not to kill him. I need him alive."
"Yes, sir."
At the same time, Blade was locked in an underground cell, his hands bound in shackles. After a while, Camereon arrived this time taking the appearance of a girl.
"Who are you, and why are you locked up here?"
"I was kidnapped by a guy named Gerard."
"How about I help you get out of here?"
Blade narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "What's in it for you?"
"Nothing. I just don't like this group, so I'd gladly annoy them."
"Fine… I hate to admit it, but I need help to get out."
Camereon smiled sinisterly, pretending to break the cell lock when in reality, he simply opened it. Then he approached the demon Shonetsu.
"Take these shackles off me."
Camereon stepped to Blade's side and stabbed a blade into his ribs.
"What are you doing?" Blade asked but then noticed Camereon returning to his true form.
"Do you remember me?"
"You… what do you want from me?"
"You killed someone close to me. Mr. Gerard doesn't want you dead but that doesn't mean you can't suffer a little. This time, you won't be able to do anything to me."
Camereon sliced Blade's skin, then ignited the tip of his finger with fire magic and pushed it deep into the wound.
Blade screamed in pain, which only delighted Camereon.
"It hurts, doesn't it? But it's nothing compared to what I felt watching you kill Professor Junak."
"If you want it so badly, I'll help you join him," Blade said, spitting blood into Camereon's face.
Camereon grabbed a nearby rod and struck the demon across the face.
"You're not in a position to speak to me like that." He drove his knee into Blade's stomach.
Then he grabbed his hair, lifting his head, and pressed a blade against his cheek, cutting it.
"You can torture me all you want it doesn't change the fact that you're trash."
"I have to admit, you're brave. I wonder if you'll stay this tough until the very end." Camereon enveloped his hand in fire magic and pressed it against Blade's stomach.
"GRAAAAAAARHAAAAAAAAAAAARHHHHHH!"
Blade once again began releasing his demonic power but this time, he started transforming into Senero 3.
"Well done… you've just signed your own death sentence."
Camereon suddenly stepped back, seeing Blade break free from his shackles.
"What's happening?"
With every passing moment, Blade looked more and more like Shonetsu until he finally completed his full transformation into a demon.
