Yashimiro lunged at Tomar, but Tomar easily dodged the teenager's attack. Then the king of Kasegi sent Derivan flying into a nearby building with a kick to the stomach.
"YASHIMIRO!" Kira appeared behind Tomar, trying to strike from the back, but Tomar grabbed her arm and threw her over his shoulder.
"Know your place, girl."
Yashimiro extended his hand, focusing his choki, gripping his wrist with the other hand.
"Kanezoko!" he fired a blue beam of energy.
Tomar only smiled, raising both hands and pressing them together at the wrists, then deflected Derivan's attack to his surprise.
"What?" Yashimiro had to jump back to avoid his own attack. "So he can reflect choki-based attacks."
Yashimiro had no time to think, as Tomar appeared right behind him, placing his palm on the boy's back.
"Damn."
"It's worth keeping your eyes open all around your head you never know where the enemy will strike from," said Ronibo, releasing his choki and causing an explosion.
When the smoke cleared, there was no trace of Derivan. Tomar decided to deal with Kira next, but suddenly he felt someone grab his leg it was Yashimiro.
"Well done, you fell for my afterimage."
"Damn you!"
Yashimiro threw Tomar toward the palace, smashing him through it.
"Are you alright, brother? Don't scare me like that," Kira scolded him.
"Sorry, but you know that kind of attack can't seriously hurt me."
Tomar stood up and brushed off the dust before leaping out of the palace and firing energy projectiles.
"Watch out, Kira he reflects all choki-based attacks," Yashimiro warned.
"So the best option is physical attacks?"
Yashimiro nodded. The siblings began dodging the king's attacks. Derivan jumped onto a building, pushing off it toward his opponent, but Borner casually blocked his strike.
"You won't hit me like that."
Yashimiro said nothing, only smiled. Suddenly, Kira appeared from the other side and struck Tomar in the back, knocking him to the ground. Before he hit the ground, Yashimiro was already there, driving his knee into Tomar's stomach, making Borner spit blood.
"You shouldn't underestimate us."
"Damn you!" Tomar jumped back.
The Shonetsu siblings ran toward him, constantly switching positions to confuse him. Yashimiro suddenly appeared in front of him but vanished at the last second. Instead, Kira struck Tomar in the stomach, while her brother attacked from behind with a flying kick to the king's back.
"I didn't want to use this yet, but you leave me no choice," Tomar said, pulling something out of his pocket.
Derivan's eyes widened as he recognized the object.
"That's…"
"Exactly. Now I'll show you one of the many possibilities of the Kinotro crystal. Einap Icreims, eszorp szylsu einm. Dzaworps ut Matomiro Dakero."
"What did he say?" Kira asked.
The crystal began to glow, and soon a coffin rose from the ground. When the lid fell open, it revealed a man his appearance shocked Yashimiro and Kira.
Alice was surprised that her younger sister had awakened Kuritaizu.
"How did you manage to awaken Kuritaizu?"
Nohara smiled, freeing herself from the snowy shell. "Thanks to special training. Now the roles are reversed, sister."
Alice extended her hand, forming a snow arrow and launching it at Nohara. In response, Nohara created a crystal shield. Then, with a stomp, she began covering more and more of the street, sharp pillars growing from the ground.
"Even if you've awakened that legendary power, it doesn't mean you can defeat me," Alice said, forming a snow blade and charging.
"You know, Alice, I always thought you were reasonable, but it seems that brainwashing really did harm you," Nohara replied, creating a crystal blade.
The sisters clashed, their weapons colliding with enough force to cause a powerful shockwave. However, Nohara's crystal blade began to break through Alice's snow blade.
"What?" The older sister jumped back.
Suddenly, Nohara appeared where Alice had tried to move.
"How?"
"You see, Kuritaizu also grants teleportation. I can move anywhere I've placed these crystals. It's time to end this fight."
Before Alice could respond, Nohara knocked her out with a single blow and caught her before she hit the ground.
"I'm not fully satisfied with this victory. I would have preferred to defeat you while you were in your right mind," she admitted, deactivating Kuritaizu.
Maroke used his magic, causing vines to wrap around Ronibo's leg.
"Shit."
Before Ronibo could react, the former king of Kasegi threw him into a nearby building. Without hesitation, Maroke created a magic circle and fired a shockwave. Ronibo activated his dragon manifestation and countered with a lightning-fast strike.
"Did you think I said my last word?"
Ronibo vanished from Maroke's sight and instantly appeared beside him. The former king failed to react in time and was struck hard in the face, sending him flying.
"You really are as strong as they say but let's see how you handle this," Maroke said, clasping his hands and causing trees to grow from the ground, launching them at his opponent.
"I guess you didn't notice that in this state I can wield heavenly fire," Ronibo replied, firing a wave of blue flames.
Ronibo's fire began burning through Maroke's attack. Maroke could hardly believe it.
"You'd better stop, unless you want to destroy this kingdom," Ronibo warned.
"Then surrender you're the ones who invaded."
"You don't understand anything."
Maroke jumped back and formed massive boulders from the ground, hurling them at his opponent. Ronibo easily dodged them, then appeared in front of him in an instant.
"I don't have time to deal with you anymore," Ronibo said, forming an energy sphere. "Tadorendo."
The attack hit Maroke in the stomach, sending him flying back. Ronibo then returned to his normal form.
"Alright, now I need to find that Borner guy," he said, heading toward the palace.
Inside the coffin Tomar summoned lay the body of a man who shocked Yashimiro and Kira.
"You bastard, what are you planning to do?"
"You see, even a fragment of the Kinotro crystal can summon the dead peoples."
"But to use its power, you need to know the demon language," Kira pointed out.
"Thanks to Derivan's double, I managed to learn it."
Tomar placed the crystal on the corpse, causing it to open its eyes.
"Welcome back to the world of the living, Matomiro."
"Who are you, and how did you revive me?"
"With this crystal."
Matomiro's eyes widened at the sight of the Kinotro crystal. "You bastard, how dare you" He tried to attack Tomar but couldn't.
"Not so fast. As it happens, you're now under my control. Your task is to defeat those two."
Matomiro looked at the siblings, immediately noticing Yashimiro's resemblance to himself and Kira's to Mozalia.
"Are you…?"
"Yes. It's a shame we meet under such circumstances," Yashimiro replied.
"I never thought I'd see how much you've grown. I'm sorry we have to fight. I hope you'll show me how strong you've become."
"You can count on that, father."
