Chapter 106 - Chapter 106: Full Military Deployment

Chapter 106: Full Military Deployment

Hearing the concern in everyone's voices, Luo Han suddenly felt that having his own pirate crew wasn't so bad after all.

Though he passed on the flatbreads, he pushed aside Tucker and the others and began a feast. In no time, with heaps of food consumed, his strength returned.

"Ahh!! That hits the spot!" Luo Han stood up and shouted, then turned to Cole. "Come on, Cole! Let's head into the sky and test my new strength!"

"Alright!"

Short and to the point — the moment Luo Han finished eating, Cole already knew what was coming next.

The two flew up to an altitude of five thousand meters. On the ship below, only Spoon-jie could use Observation Haki to perceive some of what was happening, but even she couldn't sense the full condition of Luo Han's body.

"Let's go, Cole."

Luo Han didn't activate his Mind Armor Mode or use telekinesis — he simply launched forward with Geppo.

Clang! Zzz…

No fancy techniques — just a massive and a smaller fist, both coated in Armament Haki, clashing midair with invisible sparks flying from their impact.

Tap tap!

After the clash, Luo Han used Geppo to stabilize himself midair. He looked at the hardened Haki around his hand and nodded to himself.

"As expected, with my physical body strengthened, my Armament Haki has also become more solid. Now let's see how my defense holds up!"

Bang!

Their fists clashed again, but this time, Luo Han didn't use Haki — just his raw physical strength.

Tap tap!

He backed off again, examining his fist. It was only slightly red, and within a few breaths, it had returned to normal.

"This kind of terrifying defense… I wonder how it compares to Charlotte Linlin's."

He thought of how Linlin, even later in life, rarely showed signs of injury, making him uncertain.

"But I'm more than satisfied. Cole's strength is already at the level of a Vice Admiral, nearly Admiral-class."

Luo Han smiled, clearly pleased with the results of his new defensive ability.

"Did it work, Han-ge?"

Meeting Cole's eager gaze, Luo Han nodded.

"It worked. My body's defense has fully evolved!"

"That's awesome!" Cole grinned widely.

"Alright, let's keep going."

"Okay!"

Then the two resumed their pure physical and Haki-based combat, exchanging raw blows. The clang! clang! of colliding fists echoed again and again from above.

Time passed unknowingly into the deep night. Tucker and his men had already returned to their own ship to rest.

Only four women remained on the main ship.

"Doesn't seem like anything special…" Aishi muttered as she heard the sounds from above, unimpressed, thinking Spoon-jie had exaggerated.

Sora, however, kept her eyes fixed on the sky, a thoughtful expression on her face.

"Hehe… You'll understand next time we're in battle," Spoon-jie said with a mysterious smile before turning and heading into the cabin.

Moments later, her voice drifted out: "You two decide who's taking the night watch tonight."

Ugh… Aishi and Sora exchanged looks, then both turned to the quiet girl in the kimono sitting nearby.

Sensing their not-so-innocent stares, the girl turned around.

"Maybe…"

"Nope! I get sleepy at night. I'm going to bed now!" Toki jumped up and ran into the cabin before Aishi and Sora could finish their sentence, leaving behind only a firm refusal.

The two women looked at each other, speechless.

"Why didn't Big Sis let anyone else on board? Now we're stuck taking shifts for night watch. Ugh!" Aishi complained to Sora, though her eyes were already shifting with ideas.

"Hehe! It's fine. I'll take the shift tonight. But we'll rotate going forward," Sora replied gently, as if she had picked up on something unspoken.

"You're the best, Sora! I'm off then!"

Aishi beamed and skipped into the cabin as well, leaving Sora alone on deck.

"What kind of Devil Fruit gives this kind of power boost? Less than a day and his strength is on a whole new level… I'm dying to know what kind of fruit that kid ate," Sora wondered, her thoughts turning inward as she listened to the clashing sounds above.

By the next morning, a single piece of news had shaken the entire New World.

The Navy, under the World Government, had mobilized in full. Aside from the Fleet Admiral remaining behind at Marineford, every available force had been deployed to hunt down the Rocks Pirates.

In that moment, every island under the control of Rocks felt the crushing pressure of something unseen looming over them — panic spread across the seas.

At the same time, every newspaper in the world — except for the World Economy News Paper, which had ties to Rocks — collectively went silent on anything related to the Rocks Pirates.

It was as if the world itself had stopped turning.

In the midst of it all, Luo Han received a call from Rocks.

"My opponent is Admiral Kong? Really going all-out, huh, Rocks…" Luo Han said after hanging up the Den Den Mushi, a note of amusement in his voice.

"We're about to face a global war. Whether it's the lanternfish or returning to Wano, it all has to wait," he said, glancing at his crewmates with growing determination. "After all, we're about to take on Admiral Kong!"

"Can't believe how fast the world is changing," Spoon-jie murmured.

"Sigh… You better get me to Wano within these three years, Luo Han," Toki grumbled, clearly frustrated but understanding of the situation.

"Hehe, don't worry, I'll get you back there," Luo Han laughed. Then, with a serious tone, he continued, "Now we head for Battleship Island. According to intel, Admiral Kong is headed there directly. By distance, the Navy should arrive first, but with me around, we'll beat them there. When the battle begins, we'll keep the fighting at sea — I don't want civilians caught in the crossfire."

"In short, everyone needs to be cautious. I won't be able to look after all of you — especially you, Toki!"

Hearing this, Toki put on a mock helpless face. "What can I do? I'm desperate too!"

"Don't worry, Luo Han-kun. This isn't anyone's first battle," Spoon-jie said gently.

"Alright! Let's move out!" Luo Han shouted. He then took control of the two pirate ships, speeding toward Battleship Island like sports cars racing across the sea.

At the same time, Golden Lion, Whitebeard, Charlotte Linlin, and others all received orders for their respective targets.

The Navy also began mobilizing to various islands, preparing to "liberate" the local populations.

After a full day of sailing, Luo Han and his group arrived at Battleship Island just as dawn broke.

The once-bustling port was still active, but most of the ships launching now were pirate vessels setting out on missions — not the usual merchant activity.

"That's Blue Demon Lord Luo Han and Beastman Cole! They're the ones protecting us? Think they can hold off an admiral?" someone on the island wondered aloud. But that was all — no one dared voice any true doubt.

Luo Han didn't steer the ship into the harbor. Instead, he anchored two kilometers out. From here, no matter which direction Admiral Kong approached from, Luo Han would detect it.

Time passed slowly, and just before noon, the Navy finally arrived.
