Chapter 127 - Chapter 127

Chapter 127

"Haha! Dance a little more, you two! Come on, sway together for me!"

Luo Han's taunting voice was infuriating enough to draw both Garp and Roger toward him in unison.

But it was useless! The result was still the same—they could only dance in midair.

Noon the next day. The sun hung high in the sky. The residents of Battleship Island had gone sleepless through the entire night. Even though they were dead tired now, the constant booming explosions echoing from afar made it impossible to rest. All they could do was shuffle around in a daze.

"Those three monsters have been fighting for a whole day and night. When is it going to end? I just want to sleep."

Miss Aishi 's face was twisted in frustration. She tried covering her ears with her hands, but the deafening rumbles still reached her. Her face was full of anger, but there was nowhere to vent it.

"Aishi -sis! Just nine or ten more days… and it should be over…!"

The girl Amatsuki, with dark circles under her eyes, clung to a post by the harbor, using all her strength to stay upright as she weakly muttered her prediction.

Everyone stared speechless. Among them, she had the weakest constitution and the least strength. And yet, despite her fatigue, she still used her ability to see the future—and she never forgot to spoil it, either.

"About ten more days, huh? Looks like it's going to be a drawn-out war."

Though some were annoyed by the spoiler, they had to admit it was nice knowing what to expect. Everyone dispersed to take care of their own business, planning to return and check in a few days later.

"Wait for me! Aishi -sis!" Seeing the others leave, the girl quickly picked herself up and ran after Aishi .

Back on the battlefield, the rhythmic booming of explosions continued. Garp and Roger still couldn't get close to Luo Han, blocked by his golden spear attacks. But the two were more composed now, even using the force from blocking the spears to inch toward him. Luo Han had no choice but to keep retreating.

"Should I try it? But it requires direct contact... If I can't retreat in time... that's terrifying!"

Luo Han was torn. As he dodged Roger's slashes and Garp's pursuit, he debated whether to use the Flame of Desire—no, he had renamed it the "Pink Flame."

"Should I take the risk and hit Garp and Roger each with a shot of Pink Flame?"

Still hesitating, Luo Han raised his hand. A flame of orange hue floated quietly in his palm, radiating a dense pink glow.

"What is that flame?! It feels extremely dangerous!"

Clang! Roger knocked aside another golden spear headed his way, but when he caught a glimpse of the pink-glowing flame in Luo Han's hand, a cold sweat broke out instantly.

"Whatever that flame is, I must not let it touch me!"

Roger's top-tier Observation Haki, able to hear the voice of all things, screamed warnings at him. His eyelids twitched violently, and even his... lower regions instinctively clenched. Roger didn't know why, but the danger coming from that flame was off the charts.

Clang! Taking advantage of a break between dodging spears, Roger launched two slashes toward Luo Han and then quickly retreated a thousand meters.

"At this distance, I shouldn't be in danger of getting hit by it."

Roger exhaled in relief after confirming the distance between them.

Whoosh! Luo Han burst forward, easily dodging the incoming slashes.

"What the hell is this? Observation Haki is getting ridiculous!"

Watching Roger stare warily at the Pink Flame in his hand from so far away, Luo Han immediately understood. He hadn't even decided whether to use it yet, and Roger had already sensed the threat and retreated to a safe distance.

And honestly, at that range, even if Luo Han activated bullet time, he wouldn't be able to dodge Roger's sword speed.

"Roger! Luo Han, you brats—why'd you stop?!"

Garp, mid-attack, noticed the sudden pause. He was just getting into the groove, but now no one was continuing. He floated over to within fifty meters of Roger.

"Garp, did you see that flame in Luo Han's hand?" Roger asked.

"I saw it!"

When the flame appeared, even Garp's Observation Haki picked it up. But with things like golden spears already in play, one more strange ability wasn't that surprising. He hadn't paid much attention.

"Why don't you go see how powerful it is?" Roger suggested.

And to be fair, Garp actually looked tempted. He stared at the flame with curiosity and seemed ready to charge forward. But something inside told him that might not be a good idea, and he hesitated.

Even Garp didn't know why he suddenly felt uneasy. But as long as he didn't rush toward Luo Han, the feeling disappeared. Very strange indeed.

"Holy crap! Thank God he didn't come at me!"

Seeing Garp's hesitation, Luo Han's own eyelid twitched uncontrollably. Especially when he felt a sudden clench down below, he immediately dispelled the Pink Flame.

"Phew! Thank God!"

At that moment, Luo Han remembered that the Pink Flame—also known as the Flame of Desire—wasn't like a drug that needed time to activate. It worked off emotion. The moment it touched someone, they'd climax instantly in a burst—right then and there. If Garp had rushed him, and Luo Han hit him with the flame before escaping, the result would've been Garp caught in the throes of the effect… performing a "pink play" scene right in front of Roger…

The mental image was too horrifying to bear.

"Too scary! I can't even think about it anymore."

Luo Han shook his head hard to erase the thoughts. That power was dangerous and should be used sparingly—especially against men, particularly those as strong as himself.

Huff! Huff huff! As Luo Han dispersed the flame, both Garp and Roger exhaled deeply in sync. Then both paused, glanced at each other, and turned away awkwardly. There was definitely some strange mutual understanding between them now.

"Hey, Luo Han, what the hell was that flame? It didn't feel like anything normal—it was seriously dangerous."

Roger's expression was thoughtful. He still didn't understand the nature or effect of the flame—only that he absolutely did not want to be touched by it.

"Yeah, Luo Han! That flame actually made me hesitate. That's never happened to me before," Garp added. For someone as thick-skinned as Garp, that really was rare.

Luckily, Garp was just impulsive—not stupid. Otherwise, things would've gotten real weird real fast.

"That was the Flame of Happiness. You wouldn't understand its mystery… and you won't be seeing it again."

Luo Han gave a mysterious smile. There was no way to explain it in detail—it would definitely get censored.

"Alright then. Let's fight for real—no more tricks."

Luo Han muttered to himself, withdrawing all his psychic power. He looked toward Garp and Roger in the distance. To fight the future Hero of the Navy and the future Pirate King at the same time… that was quite the experience.
