Chapter 220 - Chapter 220: Rumble-Rumble Fruit User!

Chapter 220: Rumble-Rumble Fruit User!

Damn! Thank goodness she never got the chance—or I swear I'd have destroyed that bastard…

Luo Han mentally rejoiced that Ellis had never gone off to "try it with a man," or he might not have survived the heartbreak.

Ellis released her grip on Little Luo Han and sat beside him. By the faint moonlight spilling in through the window, she could see the subtle expression of relief on Luo Han's face.

She smirked. "Today's my coming-of-age ceremony, and you didn't give me a gift. So how about giving yourself to me tonight? Let me test whether 'that thing' really feels as good as they say."

"…"

Luo Han froze. That came on a little too strong—he didn't even know how to respond.

But silence meant agreement. And Luo Han had once said, "Not talking means silent consent." Ellis remembered that well.

So, understanding what he meant, a green-blue glow surged over her skin. Her clothes vanished, revealing flawless, creamy skin that shimmered like jade in the moonlight.

Gulp.

Luo Han's throat bobbed. The scene in front of him stunned him into stillness. His eyes locked on her, wide and unmoving.

Ellis chuckled softly and decided to take matters into her own hands. Her fingers slid down, slowly peeling away the last barrier Luo Han had.

She leaned in.

Under the silvery moonlight, the great ship gently rocked atop the serene sea. Waves lapped softly against its sides.

This passionate moment continued all the way until sunrise.

Night

Luo Han woke up in his bed.

Did I sleep through an entire day?

It was hard to tell from the dim sky outside.

Gurgle gurgle…

His stomach growled. He touched it instinctively.

Wait… am I more than just hungry? Did I sleep for two days?

He sprang up—only for his back to seize up with a crack! and force him to sit right back down.

Clutching his aching waist, eyes hollow, Luo Han stared blankly ahead.

"I was… taken advantage of, wasn't I?"

"Yeah, probably."

"…by a tree, no less."

Which meant… he'd now added "goddess," "ghost," "white snake," "caterpillar," and now… "tree" to his list.

"Ugh. Guess I pioneered a whole new genre…"

He sighed. That divine tree was terrifying. He didn't even move all night and still couldn't handle it.

All the special body traits he'd acquired—even his "iron balloon" physique—meant nothing against Ellis ' infinite stamina.

"Ugh… please, just don't come again. One more night of that and I won't even be able to stand up…"

After resting a while, Luo Han dragged himself out, leaning against the wall, and stepped onto the deck.

Ellis was calmly setting the table with Akatsuki and Sora. Dinner was ready.

"Come eat," she said.

Luo Han didn't reply. He straightened up, let go of the wall, and slowly walked over. He sat down with effort and began stuffing his face with roasted meat.

He was starving.

Ellis chuckled and handed him another piece. "This is that eel-type Sea King you said was so nourishing. I caught one for you today—thought you could use the boost."

"…"

Luo Han's mouth fell open. The meat slid from his lips and dropped onto his plate, knocking over a cup with a clank.

He glared at Ellis .

Seriously? Feeding me eel meat today of all days? Are you planning to go again tonight?!

Didn't we agree it was just a "test" to see if it was fun? Well—I tested. It wasn't fun. Not for me.

Rubbing his sore lower back, Luo Han pleaded, "Please… give me a few days to recover. Ellis … one more night and I will die."

Akatsuki and Sora giggled softly. They didn't say anything—but clearly, they'd heard everything last night.

"Fine, fine! I won't bother you tonight—or ever again, okay?" Ellis huffed.

She had just been trying to help. He'd once said that eel-type meat was great for recovery, so she thought it would help him out.

She hadn't planned anything else!

Late Night

Luo Han stood outside Akatsuki 's oversized room.

Knock knock knock.

"Open up, Akatsuki . I need to talk to you."

"Open it yourself," came her calm reply.

She sat cross-legged on the bed, studying her new legs in the moonlight, gently running her hands over them.

CLACK.

Luo Han entered and saw her stroking her legs. "Still getting used to them?"

"I'm fine," she replied. "Didn't you say you had something to give me?"

"Right," Luo Han nodded. "Yesterday was your coming-of-age ceremony. I didn't give you a gift—so I wanted to make up for it tonight."

After two years together, he knew what kind of woman Akatsuki was. She kept her word. She was someone he could trust. His woman.

She just wasn't that strong.

Luo Han planned to fix that—by giving her one of the two Devil Fruits he'd found on Sky Island: the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

And not just that—he'd also grant her a fused talent aura, combining a giant Sea King's physical traits and Big Mom's.

With that, plus her strong mental will, she'd reach Admiral level in a few years.

Thinking about it, Luo Han smiled mysteriously.

Akatsuki saw it. Is he planning to do… that… again? Didn't he say he was too sore tonight?

Confused, she asked, "You want to give me the gift now?"

"Yeah," Luo Han replied.

"…Aren't you going to get bigger first?"

"…What?" Luo Han blinked. "Get bigger? For what?"

Akatsuki raised an eyebrow. "Last night you gave Sister Ellis that gift, right? If you don't get bigger, are you sure you can… with me?"

Then, to clarify, she added quickly, "Of course—I said I'd be your woman, so I won't resist. I'm just reminding you."

Reminding my ass. Luo Han's face twitched.

Without explanation, he pulled out the Rumble-Rumble Fruit in one hand and a multicolored talent flame in the other.

"This is the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. Logia-type. I found it on Sky Island two years ago."

"This flame is a fused talent aura—combining Big Mom's physique and a super-sized Sea King's."

"You've heard of Big Mom, right? Her physical resilience is legendary."

Luo Han extended both hands. "Choose one. Or both."

"You can take both."

Akatsuki 's face remained calm, even though she realized she had misunderstood him.

She was genuinely touched. This wasn't just her first gift from Luo Han—it was the first gift she'd ever received from any human.

"What do you think I should do?" she asked.

As a fishwoman, eating a Devil Fruit meant losing the ability to swim. Though not fatal, it was still a major sacrifice.

Luo Han thought a moment. "I say take both."

"With the talent flame, you'll reach peak physical stats. With the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, you'll be nearly unmatched in offense and speed."

"With those—and your strong will—you'll have no weaknesses."

"And that's what it takes to stand at the top of this world."

"If you want fishfolk to survive on land, they need protection. That's not something I can give them—because I'm still an outsider. You're their queen. Only you can give them that sense of belonging."

"That's all I'll say. The choice is yours."

Akatsuki didn't hesitate. "Then I'll take both."

She grabbed the fruit and took a bite—gulped it down in one go. Didn't even taste it.

Luo Han was envious. He'd had to endure the most disgusting meal of his life to eat his first fruit.

"And this?" she asked, eyeing the flame.

"Give me your hand."

She held it out. He pressed the flame into her palm. It spread across her body.

"All done. That's it."

"I'm going to rest. You should too."

"Mm."

Her soft voice followed him as he stepped out.

Luo Han smiled and closed the door behind him.

He barely made it to his own room before collapsing.

Someone was already lying on his bed—graceful curves outlined by the moonlight.

It was Ellis .

She stared at him silently, just like the night before.

"Didn't you say you weren't coming?" Luo Han whined.

"Please, Ellis , I'm begging you. I really can't do this tonight…"

He stood by the bed, trembling. Afraid that if he got on, he'd never get off.

"Relax," she said. "I just want to ask how many people you've given that talent flame to."

Straight to the point.

He'd promised it was rare. But she had sensed through Observation Haki that Luo Han had given one to Sanlong… and now to Akatsuki .

She suspected he'd given it to Tak and others, too.

Sigh…

Guess I've been caught.

Still—what's one night, anyway?

"Fine! If you're gonna question me, then let's battle till dawn!"

He jumped into bed.

Once again, the war raged until sunrise. And once again, Luo Han couldn't get out of bed the next day.

Two years later

Luo Han was fully submerged in pleasure and indulgence.

By day, Ellis and Akatsuki sparred—training in Haki and the Six Styles.

By night, they sparred with him.

The four of them returned to Ark Island once a month to rest before heading out again in search of the Lantern Fish.

In the meantime, Luo Han continued developing Kotoamatsukami.

His test subject? Sora.

He tried implanting "emotional ideas" into her mind.

His theory was simple:

If you could condition someone's subconscious behaviors—if all their impulses, thoughts, and reactions came from you—then they were already yours in mind and spirit.

For two years, he planted a single thought in Sora's spiritual world:

"Fall in love with me."

After a year of daily effort, it worked—sort of.

Sora fell for him and became one of his women.

But even then, a core part of her mind remained untouched—a diamond of clarity, unbroken.

And that was why Kotoamatsukami's progress looked promising.

He felt he was close to completing it.
