Chapter 258 - Chapter 258: Power Scaling Completely Collapses

Chapter 258: Power Scaling Completely Collapses

Oh right!

At that moment, Aishi and the others suddenly remembered—Luo Han had mentioned earlier there were a few things he needed to talk about.

"There are two things left, right?"

Luo Han gathered his thoughts and said, "First, Aishi , I need you to plant two islands outside the ring current, about three kilometers apart. They'll serve as the gates of Evernight City and act as major ports."

He explained, "Without a place for temporary docking, the ship traffic out there is a total mess!"

"Alright! I'll plant them in a bit," Aishi replied.

Now that she had the ring Luo Han gave her and could activate her telekinetic armor, she could go underwater by herself without needing Luo Han to protect her with a shield.

"And the second thing…"

After thinking for a moment, Luo Han turned to Sora and said, "Keep an eye out for Poneglyphs—not actively, just stay alert."

More seriously, he continued, "What I need most right now is a Vivre Card that leads to Zou!"

"Zou?" Sora frowned. "Is that an island?"

Since he needed a Vivre Card, it must be—but she had never heard of it.

"You don't know?"

Luo Han was a bit surprised. As a key member of CP0, surely she had at least heard of Zunesha, that ancient, massive elephant?

Was CP0 training really that shoddy? Luo Han silently wondered.

"We haven't heard of it either!"

"What exactly is it?" Akatsuki and Aishi chimed in. This was also their first time hearing the name "Zou."

Cole 's eyes lit up with curiosity. He licked his lips. "Zou? Can you eat it?"

"It's a…"

Recalling memories from his previous life, Luo Han explained, "It's a massive elephant. An actual island rests on its back—that's called Zou."

"An elephant??" Everyone stared at him, baffled. Was he serious?

"There's an elephant that big?"

"It's true! I'm not lying."

"Oh, right!" Luo Han suddenly asked, "Have you heard of the Mink Tribe?"

"Mink Tribe?" Everyone nodded—they'd heard of them.

"So… they come from… wait, you mean Zou Island?" Akatsuki guessed.

"Exactly!"

Luo Han turned back to Sora. "Find the Minks and get a Vivre Card for Zou. I have business there."

"Do it discreetly—no need to make noise," he added.

"I want to go too!" Aishi , Akatsuki , and Aishi all said at once.

Such a fascinating island—it would be a shame not to visit. Even Cole was curious about the elephant large enough to carry an island.

He wondered if it was as big as his full transformed form…

"Alright," Luo Han chuckled. "Once Sora gets the Vivre Card, we'll go together."

Yes!

Aishi cheered, immediately launching into a discussion with Aishi about what outfits to bring.

"You're treating this like a vacation, huh?"

Luo Han shook his head. "That's all from me. Do whatever you want now."

And with that, he disappeared—heading for the Calm Belt to control more Sea Kings.

It had been nearly a month since he last went. He couldn't slack off—he had three or four hundred of them under control.

This was vital for the future. He'd need to be more disciplined.

...

Calm Belt!

The same one Luo Han had gone to before.

On the surface, fifteen enormous Sea Kings with vaguely humanoid faces floated up.

These were the Sea Kings he had modified with human-like aura using his power. Since none of them were over 10,000 meters long, their faces still retained many beast-like traits.

"You can go down now."

"Yes, Boss!"

With deep, resonant voices, the Sea Kings submerged again.

Luo Han floated in the air, lost in thought.

"I didn't expect that after humanoid transformation, Sea Kings could actually talk like people."

He hadn't noticed before—Niu Niu had always stayed underwater.

Only now, when one Sea King who liked the sky emerged to speak with him, did he learn this.

From that Sea King's mouth, he also learned something…

Something not so friendly.

"There are way too many Sea Kings—easily in the tens or even hundreds of millions!"

And that was just this one Calm Belt. If you added the others, the number was staggering.

"At my current pace—15 Sea Kings a day, that's 450 a month, 5,400 a year, and 162,000 in 30 years…"

Luo Han furrowed his brow. At best, by the time Shirahoshi awakened as Poseidon, he'd only control around 180,000 Sea Kings.

That was nothing compared to the billions she could command.

No. Wait.

Something didn't add up.

Luo Han shook his head. Eight hundred years ago, the mermaid princess controlled all Sea Kings. Surely there was a way to rapidly control vast numbers.

"No… that's still wrong!"

Luo Han shook his head again.

"She used 'willpower seeds' to control them—it's different from my Bie Tianshen. All she had to do was ensure they didn't resist her, and she could instantly implant countless seeds. Over time, those seeds would take root, and her control would be complete."

Realizing this, Luo Han felt helpless.

In the end, the limitation was still Bie Tianshen itself. He had tried refining it through meditation and concentration—but it didn't help.

The power output per day was fixed. No matter what, he couldn't produce more.

"Guess I'll go check out Chopper's homeland and see if the Swallow-Swallow Fruit is still there!"

Unable to solve the Bie Tianshen issue for now, Luo Han stopped worrying about it. It would resolve over time.

He decided to first search for a Devil Fruit for the scientist who could create pure gold.

...

Snowflakes danced across the sky!

Luo Han hovered over the world-famous medical nation.

"Hmm… nothing."

Using his spiritual sense, he found no Devil Fruits at all.

"Either it was already eaten, or it hasn't appeared yet," he guessed. Either way, he wasn't going to stick around waiting.

He shelved the idea for now.

It had just been a whim anyway. That scientist was already off working on alloy development with Kyo (Silver Axe) .

With a thought—

Luo Han teleported back to Ark Island!

Aboard the Penguin, on the central lawn deck, atop a massive reclining chair—

Luo Han appeared and lay down.

He was alone on the ship. Aishi , Aishi , and the others were sleeping on other vessels docked at the small plaza.

Only Akatsuki came back here at night—to "exercise" with him.

During the day, she mostly stayed on Fantasy Island.

"Today, Aishi and Sora both mastered Perfect Armament Haki…"

"But Akatsuki and Aishi couldn't."

Luo Han narrowed his eyes. What happened at lunch still lingered in his mind.

Others might think it was just luck, but he didn't believe that.

Sora was understandable—she was admiral-level in strength and had strong willpower. Her success wasn't shocking.

"But Aishi is different. There's no way she pulled that off by herself. There has to be something I overlooked—some reason why she was able to 'squeeze' out that Perfect Haki."

And why was it only Sora and Aishi ?

What unique thing did they share…?

"Bie Tianshen!!"

Luo Han suddenly sat upright, eyes lighting up with realization.

Sora and Aishi shared one thing: both had their spiritual worlds entered by his Bie Tianshen.

Sora had been controlled, Aishi had just had foreign willpower removed.

But either way, Bie Tianshen had been there.

"That must be it! That's why they could learn Perfect Armament Haki!"

"Even Sora said she just learned it naturally—like someone was guiding her. Maybe being implanted with Bie Tianshen created a unique connection…"

Smack!

Luo Han slapped his own face. "Of course! Without a link, how else would I control Sea Kings or people?"

The connection was always there. He'd just never considered that it might help them learn his techniques too.

"Actually, testing this is easy!"

Luo Han grinned slyly. If even Aishi could do it, then surely Niu Niu—who also had a strong will and body—could too.

Let's find out.

With a thought, Luo Han teleported above Niu Niu.

Niu Niu was in its beast form, curled up at the ocean floor with its subordinates.

Now that Sea God was helping, they didn't need to pull ships through the current, so they were all napping.

"Niu Niu, come with me," Luo Han said telepathically from above.

Niu Niu opened his eyes, sensed Luo Han, and responded, "Yes, Boss!"

He shifted into humanoid form and followed Luo Han.

The two landed at the shore of Island No. 6 with two heavy thuds.

Standing on the smooth tree roots, Luo Han looked up at Niu Niu, who towered ten meters over him, and felt amazed.

"If something this big learns Perfect Haki…"

"That's basically admiral-level combat power instantly!"

"If this experiment works…"

Luo Han couldn't imagine what would come next.

Thousands—tens of thousands—of Sea Kings with Perfect Armament Haki, each with admiral-level strength?

With such power, ruling the world wouldn't be out of reach.

Feeling a surge of excitement, he said aloud, "Niu Niu, try using this power!"

He activated Perfect Haki and transmitted the method directly into Niu Niu's mind.

"Got it, Boss! Niu Niu understands!"

The booming, youthful voice echoed.

Of course Niu Niu could talk—Luo Han smiled.

Niu Niu followed the instructions and began constructing the special Haki structure in his mind.

Meanwhile, Luo Han entered Niu Niu's spirit world to observe.

He hadn't done this with Aishi or Sora out of respect—they were his women.

But Niu Niu? Totally fine.

Soon—

"Haha…!"

Luo Han couldn't help laughing. In Niu Niu's spirit world, his once-passive willpower began to shift…

Morphing into the structure for Perfect Armament Haki!

Incredible—he could really do it.

Now Luo Han just needed to see how much he could form. Even if it matched Aishi 's level, it was impressive.

"Boss, I think I've got it!"

A few minutes later, Niu Niu felt a new power awaken.

"Let's see it!" Luo Han said eagerly.

"Okay, Boss!"

With that, Niu Niu covered his body in Haki—one full meter thick!

Luo Han was stunned. That meant Niu Niu's willpower was extremely strong.

Then again, being locked in a dark cell for centuries might've strengthened his core despite dulling his awareness.

"Boss, is something wrong?" Niu Niu asked, seeing Luo Han's silence.

"Not at all!"

Luo Han snapped out of it, thrilled. "Go bring your subordinates here!"

Niu Niu nodded, leapt into the sea with a splash, and returned shortly with his crew.

Luo Han used the same method—and soon, they too began forming Perfect Armament Haki.

It took a bit longer, but all succeeded within ten minutes.

Shing shing… SHING!

All humanoid Sea Kings now possessed Perfect Armament Haki.

"Unstoppable…" Luo Han thought, then told Niu Niu, "You can all go rest now."

"Yes, Boss!"

Niu Niu led the crew back to sleep.

Luo Han hadn't yet figured out how to deploy these now-admiral-level Sea Kings.

"For now, we'll leave them as a trump card," he thought.

Plenty of pirates had already joined Evernight City—no need to reveal this yet.

"But what about the other four seas and Calm Belts? How do I teach those Sea Kings?"

Go talk to them one by one?

Luo Han shook his head—he had no interest in that.

"Maybe I can just talk to them all inside the mind world."

With that thought, he entered his spiritual world and summoned all controlled Sea Kings—except for Niu Niu's crew.

Within the vast sea of his spirit, countless humanoid Sea Kings surfaced—projected into his mind.

"But… how do I show them Perfect Armament Haki?"

They all stared at him, waiting. Luo Han wasn't sure if they could learn just by hearing.

So, he tried something else—forming the Haki in the real world first.

Shing!

It appeared, and at the same time, reflected into the spiritual world.

But—

"It vanished from reality…"

No—Luo Han realized—it had transferred to the mind world.

That worked!

Now the Sea Kings could observe it here and replicate it like Niu Niu's crew had.

So Luo Han explained the same process again.

"We understand, Boss!"

The Sea Kings responded in unison, their voices echoing throughout the spirit realm.

Ten minutes passed.

"Boss! Is this the power you meant?" one of them called out, forming Perfect Armament Haki.

"Yes, exactly," Luo Han confirmed, thinking: only I can really manifest it here, but their projections are still valid.

They looked faint—but recognizable.

Then—

"Boss, I got it too!"

"Me too!"

"Boss, look!"

...

Within one minute, all of them succeeded.

Luo Han smiled faintly and waved. "Stay in your regions and don't attack humans or ships unless ordered."

"Yes, Boss."

With a nod, he dismissed them from the spirit realm and exited himself.
