Chapter 146 - Chapter 146: The Tang Family’s God Realm Shall Rise Again!

Chapter 146: The Tang Family's God Realm Shall Rise Again!

The Divine Realm Committee.

At the heart of the great divine hall floated a radiant sphere of light, glowing gently and illuminating six figures encircling it.

Each stood upon a point of a six-pointed star, channeling divine power into the orb.

At the center sat a young man with blue hair—Tang San, the Shura God, the Sea God, and the one now recognized across the heavens as the God of Wisdom.

His left hand radiated the sacred aura of the Sea God, his right hand pulsed with the crimson power of Shura.

Since the fall of the Gods of Life and Destruction, Tang San had become the only one capable of holding the Divine Realm together.

He was now the undisputed King of Gods.

His calm eyes scanned those assembled behind him, and a satisfied smile crept onto his face.

The Divine Realm now held only four main God Kings:

Himself, the Shura God King.

The Evil God King, Jidong.

The Kindness Goddess, Lieyan.

And the former God of Emotions, Rong Nianbing.

Among them, only he wielded two divine thrones and two super artifacts—the Shura Divine Sword and the Sea God's Trident.

The Gods of Kindness and Evil were second-generation successors like himself, yet unlike him, their predecessors had not passed down their divine weapons.

They had vanished into the lower realm, content to remain among mortals until they chose to return.

Thus, while the late Gods of Life and Destruction had once balanced the council, now the authority of the Divine Realm rested entirely in Tang San's hands.

Rong Nianbing, though a first-level god, retained immense influence. Wisely, instead of leaving the Divine Realm as he had planned, he yielded his mantle to his son-in-law and even offered up one of his super artifacts.

By doing so, he bound himself to serve Tang San willingly.

At this point, there was no one in the entire Divine Realm capable of threatening Tang San's rule.

Of course, even he remained unaware that Rong Nianbing still secretly possessed a second super artifact.

For a lower god to hold one was already beyond reason—two was unthinkable. Even the God Kings had only one each.

Neither Lieyan, the Kindness Goddess, nor Jidong, the Evil God, possessed any such relics.

Rong Nianbing simply hid it too well.

To Tang San's lower left stood Jidong, dressed in black, his aura of corruption mingled with charisma.

To his right knelt Lieyan, robes white as cloud, radiating serene benevolence.

Beneath them, on the lower tiers, stood two subordinates—the golden-haired former God of Emotions, Rong Nianbing, and the God of Strength, Zhou Weiqing.

Facing them all, on the far side of the hall, was the man who made Tang San's grin widen slightly—Dai Yuehao.

Not a wasted effort, he thought proudly. His interference in the mortal realm had paid off. By bending fate's thread, he had successfully corrected history and set Dai Yuehao back upon the path of ascension.

"If not for me, even as a Child of Destiny, he'd never have reached godhood," Tang San mused.

"The descendant of Mubai truly surpasses the others. His potential outstrips them all—perhaps even enough to become a future God King. Had I known, I would've arranged for Rong Rong and Xiao Ao to leave bloodlines behind on Douluo Continent as well."

As for Ma Hongjun's descendants?

With Bai Chenxiang never attaining godhood, any offspring were bound to be mediocre.

The so-called successors of the Evil Fire Phoenix clearly proved it—strong spirit, flawed bloodline. No amount of inherited strength could fix that without the heavenly herbs of old.

And there weren't any immortal herbs left to go around.

When the divine power stabilizing the realm finally subsided, the six gods withdrew their energies in unison.

"Well done, everyone," Tang San said, his voice calm, measured.

A smile tugged at his lips. "The Divine Realm is stable once more. Thanks to the seeds left behind by the Gods of Life and Destruction, the barrier continues to regenerate endlessly with celestial vitality. The turbulence of space-time will no longer threaten us."

"Had the God of Destruction not repented at the end and chosen to sacrifice himself alongside the Goddess of Life, even our combined strength could not have preserved the realm as it stands today."

Both Jidong and Lieyan nodded automatically, though privately uncertain.

Outwardly, they played loyal subordinates. The Gods of Life and Destruction were gone; deference to Tang San was the only way to survive in this new order.

Jidong, ever the schemer, decided a verbal display couldn't hurt. "The chaos of the Divine Realm was quelled thanks solely to your wisdom, Brother Tang."

Lieyan's lips parted, as if she wished to speak—but the words never came.

Without full inheritance of her divine position, unable to claim a true super artifact, her political weight was negligible.

She still couldn't quite understand how things had ended this way.

Even if the Divine Realm had expanded dangerously into spatial turbulence, surely five God Kings united could have contained the risk.

But the facts were now unchangeable. The Gods of Life and Destruction were gone, leaving only Tang San to guide them all.

Lieyan remembered clearly the moment before their deaths—Tang San standing silently aside as the God of Destruction whispered, "Someday… we will return."

Now, beneath the central crystal core of the Divine Realm, the twin Seeds of Life and Destruction continuously pulsed, infusing barrier and atmosphere with divine energy.

Technically, gods never truly died. Yet looking at those silent relics, even Lieyan began to doubt they would ever revive.

Still, there was hope—faint, but real.

Tang San's eyes flickered knowingly. Of course he understood their unspoken thoughts.

But he also knew exactly how to justify his position.

Who had caused the Divine Realm's calamity?

The God of Destruction himself.

Despite Tang San's warnings, Destruction had expanded the realm recklessly, tearing space and summoning the time rift.

And who had chosen to perish voluntarily? The God of Destruction and the Goddess of Life themselves.

He had forced no one's hand.

He had begged them to reconsider, but they would not listen. The Goddess of Life had wavered between him and the God of Destruction until tragedy became inevitable.

If only they had obeyed him from the start…

Would any of this have happened?

Had he wanted the Divine Realm swallowed by chaos? Of course not.

It was through his intervention that salvation had come.

It was thanks to him that order endured.

So yes—he accepted the title "King of Gods" with perfect serenity.

He bore the responsibility for their creation now.

And the so-called "fallen" Gods of Life and Destruction? They would revive eventually.

Early or late, it made little difference.

Until then, they could keep protecting the realm's barrier from below.

He was certain they would have agreed—had they been alive.

Delay revival a few millennia? No harm done.

And as for the Golden Dragon King's escape into the mortal world?

A pleasant surprise.

Had Tang Wulin stayed in the Divine Realm, even Tang San's favor couldn't have elevated him far enough to matter.

At most, he'd have been granted a first-level godhood—not enough to strengthen his father's reign.

Giving him Destruction or Life's throne outright? Impossible. Incomplete inheritances could not sustain perfect God King positions.

And as for his daughter Tang Wutong…

Useless.

He had given her the Dragon God's power itself, yet she remained stuck as a second-tier goddess.

An embarrassment.

At least his son-in-law, Dai Yuehao, lived up to his expectations. Once the realm evolved further, Yuehao's God King ascension would be assured.

But still—his true hope lay with Tang Wulin.

A sigh escaped his lips. "I do wonder how my beloved son is faring down there now…"
