Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: Coming Clean with Xiao Xiao

Chapter 136: Coming Clean with Xiao Xiao

"How dare you, Ye Chen! You went out and fooled around behind my back!"

Wang Dong grabbed him by the collar, puffing up angrily. "Say it—who was it?!"

"Xiao Xiao."

Ye Chen shrugged, answering calmly.

"What… Xiao Xiao?" Wang Dong froze, completely dumbfounded.

In her mind, she had imagined several flirtatious women—but never, not once, had she expected Xiao Xiao.

Xiao Xiao was sweet, pure, and kind; there was no way she would initiate anything. Which meant, of course, that Ye Chen was the instigator.

That made him even worse! Always bullying the innocent ones!

"Ahem… well, it was after you left…"

Ye Chen explained what had happened—though only the normal parts: eating together, training, hunting for a soul ring.

Naturally, he left out all the… intimate details. Otherwise, Wang Dong would have exploded on the spot.

Even so, she immediately filled in the blanks with her imagination.

"I knew it—I never should've introduced her to you…" Wang Dong smacked him weakly on the chest, her frustration tinged with regret.

After spending so much time with Ye Chen, she knew what he was like—teasing, bold, a little perverted. From the moment she'd seen him appraise Xiao Xiao, she had sensed something brewing.

She just hadn't expected him to act so fast, winning over that innocent little girl so easily—and even taking her out alone on a "hunt."

Ye Chen hadn't even done that for her yet!

"Other than Xiao Xiao… are there more?" Wang Dong suddenly asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Mm. Do you want to know?" Ye Chen admitted with a faint smile.

"Ugh, no—I don't want to know."

Her heart sank halfway down, and she decided ignorance was better than pain.

She wasn't stupid—she had suspected as much for a while.

But right now, she'd rather be the fool who didn't have to face it.

"You've got a few days left of break, and I'll spend them all with you," Ye Chen said, steering the topic away. He didn't want to dwell on it and hurt her more.

"Hmmph. Then you'd better make it up to me for real this time." Wang Dong huffed, still clinging to his neck.

"Of course. However you want me to make it up to you~"

Seeing she wasn't furious anymore, Ye Chen sighed in quiet relief.

He had no guilt over his choices—he was never the righteous type. Building his own "palace of companions" was selfish, yes—but it was the life he desired.

Cultivation, after all, was about freely pursuing what one wanted most.

Since he desired them all, then he would have them all.

He had a cheat; what a waste it would be to live with regrets.

"Good! Then starting tonight, these few days—you belong only to me."

With a playful grin, Wang Dong hooked a leg over and pushed Ye Chen back onto the bed, straddling his chest and looking down at him triumphantly.

"Haha, alright, my Lady Dong'er~" Ye Chen said with an amused smile.

That single phrase nearly made her melt.

"Hmph, you know your place."

Satisfied, she leaned down and kissed him first for a change.

Usually, Ye Chen was the domineering one—but this time, she wanted to turn the tables.

She had always been competitive; this was her chance to "win" for once.

After all those times being pinned beneath him, she could finally reverse the roles—and just thinking about it made her pulse quicken.

Ye Chen didn't mind the change; a little variety between lovers was nothing new.

As long as Wang Dong felt better afterward, everything would be fine.

Meanwhile, his spiritual senses quietly scanned her.

He was searching for that trace of divine consciousness Tang San had left inside her—and with the Seal of God, he might be able to neutralize it unnoticed.

After a cautious probe, he pulled back.

His spiritual power wasn't strong enough yet. Pushing deeper risked alerting Tang San's will—and possibly getting erased on the spot.

It would have to wait.

The next day.

Ye Chen spent the morning with Wang Dong, taking her out to relax. By evening, her mood had fully recovered.

"Ye Chen," she said suddenly, "let's invite Xiao Xiao to dinner."

"You've changed your mind?" he asked, surprised, easily guessing her intent.

"Hmph. She'll find out sooner or later anyway. You can't hide it forever. Xiao Xiao's a sweet girl—you better not bully her!" Wang Dong warned, hands planted on her hips.

She actually liked Xiao Xiao—how couldn't she? The girl was adorable, easy to get along with, and would likely become her sister in more ways than one.

At this point, pretending ignorance was pointless. It was better to face things openly.

Of course, it was also a practical choice—Ye Chen was a force neither of them could "manage" alone. But together? Maybe they could at least share his attention fairly.

"Alright then, I'll go fetch her," Ye Chen agreed, vanishing in a flash.

That evening, all three of them sat in a private room at a restaurant.

Ye Chen sat in the middle, with Xiao Xiao and Wang Dong on either side.

The table was full of dishes, yet none of them dared touch their food. The air was thick with awkward tension.

"Um… why aren't we eating?" Xiao Xiao asked weakly.

She had just finished training and was starving, her mouth watering as she stared at the steaming plates.

But seeing the strange atmosphere, she didn't dare move, sitting stiffly and looking adorably confused.

"Ahem, I'll—uh—go to the bathroom first," Ye Chen muttered, trying to escape.

Wang Dong grabbed his arm immediately. "You're not going anywhere!"

He gave an awkward smile and sat back down. After a deep breath, he turned to Xiao Xiao. "There's something I need to tell you."

"Hm? What is it?"

Still hungry, Xiao Xiao had just popped a small pastry into her mouth, her cheeks puffed adorably.

"Actually… Wang Dong is a girl."

"…Huh? W-what did you just say?"

Her mouth fell open, crumbs spilling out as she stared at him in utter disbelief.

With that, Wang Dong sighed softly and released her disguise.

In the blink of an eye, the handsome boy vanished—replaced by a breathtaking young woman.

Under the light, her face was stunning beyond words; her charm was overwhelming.

Since reaching level 30, Wang Dong's beauty had grown even more radiant, her figure subtly more mature. Even in boy's clothes, her curves were impossible to hide.

And her height, slightly above Xiao Xiao's, lent her an air of authority.

But what truly froze Xiao Xiao was her face—unearthly, flawless, commanding attention and impossible to look away.

As a boy, Wang Dong had captivated both genders.

But now, revealed as a girl, she was equally irresistible—still every bit the heart-stealer she'd always been.
