Chapter 137: Xiao Xiao — You're So Bad…

"Wang Dong… y-you… how…"

Xiao Xiao swallowed hard, staring in disbelief, nearly dropping her jaw.

She had never imagined her first crush—the perfect "boy"—was actually a girl!

If it were any other time, she might have been merely shocked.

But under the current atmosphere, even with her innocent nature, she immediately connected the dots.

Wang Dong and Ye Chen's relationship… it seemed… it really seemed like…

"It's just as you're thinking," Wang Dong said calmly, nodding in admission.

"Ah… and then… what about me…"

Xiao Xiao's body slumped down in her chair, the cake in her mouth suddenly tasteless.

That meant she was… the third wheel?!

But she didn't want to walk away—she had only just begun her relationship with Ye Chen.

Still, she didn't blame him. It was she who had approached first, after all.

Ye Chen had been so good to her. Even if he'd hidden his past with Wang Dong, she couldn't hate him for it.

She just felt unfortunate—unlucky enough to have met him after Wang Dong had.

Her big eyes filled with tears, and her cheeks glistened as they rolled down one after another.

"Alright, alright. Wang Dong, you're scaring her," Ye Chen sighed helplessly.

He'd brought Xiao Xiao here to tell her the truth and convince her to stay—not frighten her away.

"And it's all your fault."

Wang Dong lightly smacked Ye Chen's arm before she moved beside Xiao Xiao, wrapping her arms around her gently.

"Hey, it's okay. We're not trying to push you out," Wang Dong said softly.

"U-uh… then… are you two trying to kill me to keep the secret?" Xiao Xiao asked nervously, backing away on instinct.

Ye Chen: "…"

Wang Dong: "…"

"Ugh, you terrified her! Go take a walk," Wang Dong huffed, kicking Ye Chen lightly toward the door.

"Fine, fine—you two talk."

Ye Chen shrugged and left her to handle it.

Ten minutes later.

The door opened, and Wang Dong stepped out.

"Handled?" Ye Chen raised an eyebrow.

"Of course," she said with a little huff of pride.

"Good job, my capable Dong'er~" Ye Chen chuckled and leaned in to kiss her cheek playfully.

"Stop it! Don't forget what you promised me!" she scolded, narrowing her eyes.

"Of course."

Ye Chen smiled.

The night before, to make up for upsetting her, he'd promised Wang Dong several things—though he secretly planned to skip a few minor ones.

Still, he fully intended to keep the major promises: spending at least two days a week just with her—eating, shopping, and sleeping together among others.

They had played around until late into the night, and Ye Chen, coaxing her to sleep, had basically agreed to everything.

He figured… when you already owe a mountain of favors, what's one more?

"Hmph. You'd better."

"Now go on—comfort Xiao Xiao," Wang Dong said, pressing his chest lightly to push him back inside.

"Got it."

Ye Chen smiled, letting go of her, and entered the private room.

Inside, Xiao Xiao sat quietly, staring blankly at the table, her appetite gone.

The shock of everything had clearly left her drained.

"Ye Chen…"

Her voice was small and trembling, though her expression brightened slightly at seeing him. But then, just as quickly, she tensed again, clutching at her sleeve nervously.

"Wang Dong must have told you already. From now on, we'll all be one family—no need to be nervous," Ye Chen said gently, pulling her into his arms.

"Mm…"

Feeling that familiar embrace, Xiao Xiao's heart immediately calmed down.

She was surprised by how everything had turned out—but also relieved. She didn't have to leave; she could still stay by his side, even if it meant sharing.

She knew perfectly well she wasn't on Ye Chen's level. Being loved by him at all already made her feel lucky.

"Good girl, Xiao Xiao~"

Seeing her so well-behaved and understanding, Ye Chen's heart softened. She wasn't crying, complaining, or resisting—just quietly accepting.

Such a sweet girl—she deserved to be cherished.

Of course, all in time—after she fully grew.

He hugged her tighter, enjoying the warmth between them… and as the moments stretched, the atmosphere grew heavier, softer, and more intimate.

Ye Chen's gaze lingered on her rosy lips; before long, he leaned in and kissed her.

Outside, Wang Dong crossed her arms and sighed.

"These two… seriously, how long are they going to take…" she muttered.

The walls weren't soundproof, and she could clearly hear what they were doing.

Even though she'd told herself she didn't mind, hearing them kiss through the door still made her skin crawl a little.

But she'd already said her piece—it was far too late to burst in yelling now.

Fortunately, Ye Chen seemed aware she was waiting outside. After a brief round of comforting, he stopped, opened the door, and pulled her in.

"So fast?" Wang Dong raised a brow, skeptical. She had half expected the two of them to get carried away.

"N-no, we didn't do anything… don't say weird stuff, Wang Dong…" Xiao Xiao stammered, face crimson.

"Alright, alright. We're all one big family now—let's eat."

Ye Chen sat down again.

Xiao Xiao and Wang Dong took their places on either side of him—but now both were sitting so close he could feel their warmth.

"Ye Chen, try this~"

Xiao Xiao split a small slice of cake in half and lifted it toward his mouth sweetly.

Though still hungry, she wanted to share the treat with him first.

"Ye Chen, try this too~"

Not to be outdone, Wang Dong peeled a plump shrimp and brought the soft white meat to his lips.

"Alright, alright~"

He accepted both gladly—first Wang Dong's shrimp, casually brushing his lips against her fingertips with a sly grin.

"Behave!"

Wang Dong smacked him lightly, cheeks flushed.

Xiao Xiao was sitting right there; his shameless teasing was too much.

Ye Chen chuckled awkwardly, then leaned over to take Xiao Xiao's cake—"accidentally" brushing her fingers with his lips as well.

"Ahh—Ye Chen, you're bad…"

Xiao Xiao blushed furiously, squeaking out the words in her soft, syrupy voice—not angry at all, only shy.

The contrast between the two girls was instantly obvious.

Wang Dong's face darkened ever so slightly.

Now she understood why Ye Chen had been so drawn to Xiao Xiao.

She didn't blame the girl—Xiao Xiao's docile nature and soft, gentle sweetness made her easy to adore… and easy to tease.

Even Wang Dong found herself tempted to bully her a little.

"Mm, Xiao Xiao really is the sweetest~"

Ye Chen chuckled, letting his hand drift down to her thigh, rubbing gently.

She, of course, wore his favorite outfit—white knee-high stockings—her legs plush, smooth, and silky to the touch.

Compared to Wang Dong, who was still in trousers from her disguise, it was pure indulgence.

"Hey… you're pushing it."

Wang Dong's brow twitched; of course, she noticed what he was doing.

So what if she wasn't wearing a skirt—was that reason to ignore her?!

Her competitive streak flared immediately—no way she'd let Xiao Xiao win this round.

Biting her lip, she glared at Ye Chen briefly… then suddenly slipped down under the table.

Ye Chen: "…"

Xiao Xiao: "!!!"
