Chapter 90 - Chapter 90: 107. It’s All Qian Xunji’s Fault

Chapter 90: 107. It's All Qian Xunji's Fault

Hidden in the shadows, the Spirit Hall elites watched the crimson thunderclouds gathering above the battlefield.

"The sins Tang Hao has committed must have reached even the heavens," Qian Xunji murmured in dark amusement.

They had witnessed everything that had unfolded at Sky Valley Ridge.

From the moment Ah Yin began her sacrifice, Qian Xunji knew his plans had gone awry. Once a soul beast's offering started, there was no way to interrupt it. So, the Spirit Hall party had waited silently, biding their time.

But what happened next had stunned them all.

That cripple, Tang Xiao, had appeared—and the Blue Silver Empress changed the target of her sacrifice mid-ritual. From the way the two men looked at her, Qian Xunji could only shake his head. So both brothers share one disgraceful obsession? How utterly depraved. Truly, humanity has rotted.

Through her sacrifice, Tang Xiao had fully healed and even ascended into a Titled Douluo, boasting a hundred-thousand-year soul ring.

The Clear Sky Sect had barely celebrated before the two brothers turned on each other again.

What no one expected was that Tang Hao—with only eight rings—completely dominated his brother, who now possessed a hundred-thousand-year ring. He even beat Tang Xiao back into a crippled state.

Then Tang Hao, devoid of familial affection, raised his hammer to kill his brother... only for Tang Tian to intervene—and die beneath his son's hammer.

Qian Xunji could only stare in disbelief. "A fine show of brother slaying brother, father killed by son… but something doesn't add up. You sure you're just a Soul Douluo? You fight nothing like one."

"Your Holiness," muttered Golden Bell Douluo nervously, "shall we still attack him? He's gone mad."

Even the veterans of the Spirit Hall were shaken.

"What are you afraid of?" Qian Xunji said coldly. "The Clear Sky secret arts may be powerful, but their backlash is immense. After detonating his rings, his soul power will cripple him for days. Right now, Tang Hao is as weak as he'll ever be. This is our chance."

At once, his subordinates understood—it was the perfect opportunity.

"Besides," Qian Xunji continued, his tone calm but laced with killing intent, "Tang Hao may have severed ties with the Clear Sky Sect, but a mere eight-ringed Soul Douluo who can crush Titled Douluo wielding hundred-thousand-year soul rings is a calamity waiting to happen. If such a man ever reaches the Titled Douluo realm, Douluo Continent would fall into chaos. He must die now."

As the dark clouds dispersed, the blood-tinted sky cleared, and after a long silence, Tang Hao finally dared to stand.

From nearby came the soft cry of an infant—Tang San, barely conscious, crying purely from instinct.

Hearing that small sound, all the storm clouds in Tang Hao's heart melted away.

Yes, his son was still alive. As long as he protected Tang San, everything could still be restored. When Tang San one day became a god, Ah Yin would return. Those sect members who had died would be revived. His sins would wash away.

Calm settling over his face, Tang Hao knelt before the remains of Tang Tian and knocked his head against the ground again and again. "Father… your unfilial son begs your forgiveness. Rest assured—I will give you and the sect an answer. Tang San will be that answer."

Gathering the crying child into his arms, Tang Hao headed toward the place where Ah Yin had sacrificed herself. He wanted to retrieve the supposed Blue Silver Emperor seed buried there.

But before he could dig—

"So, this is what the Clear Sky Sect has become. The brothers once hailed as twin stars of the heavens, destined to lead their sect's future—reduced to such filth. Hahahahaha!"

A booming laugh echoed through the canyon. On a high ridge at the valley's mouth, a figure descended, standing upon a massive golden bell.

Tang Hao narrowed his eyes. "Spirit Hall's Golden Bell Douluo—level 94, control and defense type Titled Douluo."

"Humph. Tang Hao, you murdered your brother, your sect, your own father! Even heaven cannot tolerate you," came another furious voice.

Bounding through the mountains toward them came a burly man wielding twin silver war hammers. Each massive step carried him from peak to peak before he landed opposite Golden Bell.

"Spirit Hall's Silver Hammer Douluo—level 93, assault type Titled Douluo," Tang Hao muttered aloud.

Then the canyon filled with dazzling light, turning dusk into blinding day. A radiant beam shone from above—six golden wings unfolding like the sun itself.

"Six-Winged Angel—Qian Xunji," Tang Hao whispered, recognizing the aura immediately.

Within that divine light, a holy and beautiful figure floated forward, her wings outstretched. Behind her, a man stepped out from the blinding halo—Qian Xunji himself—gazing down at Tang Hao with cold amusement.

"Tang Hao," he said slowly, "you've certainly given us quite the performance."

Tang Hao hung his head low, his face unreadable. One hand gripped his Clear Sky Hammer, the other clenched into a trembling fist.

Qian Xunji's voice hardened. "Hand over the hundred-thousand-year soul bone, and I'll grant you a quicker death."

Suddenly—

Tang Hao raised his head. His eyes were blood-red, his chest heaving violently as he roared, "QIAN—XUN—JI!!!"

All three Spirit Hall Douluo froze, startled by the raw fury and grief in his voice.

"Why—why did you come so late?!" Tang Hao shouted, beating his chest and letting out a roar that echoed like a mad beast's cry through the mountains.

Qian Xunji, Golden Bell, and Silver Hammer exchanged baffled glances.

Wait… is he angry we came too late?

Tang Hao's voice cracked with rage and desperation. "If—if you had come earlier, before the sect found me! Then I wouldn't have clashed with them! I wouldn't have fought my own kin! The ones crushed beneath my hammer wouldn't have been the Clear Sky Sect—but Spirit Hall! So…!"

Qian Xunji blinked, realization dawning, followed by disbelief. "So what you're telling me is… you're blaming us for not hunting you fast enough—because our delay made you kill your father and brothers instead?!"

"Yes!" Tang Hao bellowed, pointing at him with hatred blazing from his eyes. "It's you, Qian Xunji! You made me bear the guilt of killing my own family! You made me slay my father by mistake! This is all… YOUR FAULT!"

Everyone from Spirit Hall fell silent, stunned by the twisted logic.

Qian Xunji laughed dryly. "Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. You mated with a soul beast, birthed an abomination, and brought your sect's wrath upon yourself. You slaughtered your brothers, your father, your own kin—and now you blame us for your sins?" (At this time, Qian Xunji still hadn't heard news of Spirit Hall's destruction elsewhere.)

"It's you! Always you!" Tang Hao roared, veins bulging. "Damn you, thief, traitor, villain, devil! You made me an enemy of my own clan! Today, I'll settle the blood debt of the Clear Sky Sect—with your life!"

He summoned the Clear Sky Hammer, its surface gleaming like molten iron.

A feral grin split his face. "At last—I can kill freely again!"
