The couple teleported and reappeared at the edge of the forest. Before them was a gigantic white hall. You could feel the city's majesty from the height of this wall. This wasn't a small city, but a big one.
Guards were standing on guard and patrolling the wall. In the distance, you could see a giant copper door acting as an entrance with people being checked before being authorized into the city. Above the copper door, you could see a giant plate with the city name written boldly: Tokarrion.
''Nice name!" Gabriel shared his appreciation.
There was a nice ring to this name; it wasn't bad for a starting point.
''You know we don't have any paper on us, right?" Gabriel looked at Lilith as he said those words.
''Yeah, we also don't have any money on us. In novels, either you have an identification paper, or you give money to pass and register once in the city, either at the adventurer guild or any other guild.''
As an avid reader of the fantasy genre, she knew those things, Gabriel as well.
''What do you suggest, babe?"
Lilith thought for a moment when she suddenly got an idea.
''Wait for me, I'll be back shortly.'' Lilith vanished as soon as she finished her sentence.
Left alone, Gabriel was perplexed, but soon he understood, he facepalmed.
''How could I not think about it?"
He understood what his woman was about to do.
Meanwhile, Lilith, who teleported, reappeared where they previously fought countless monsters; monsters' corpses littered all around.
She walked amidst them without care, she picked countless monsters that she was certain would be worth a lot of money, roughly twenty monsters, the most powerful ones.
After that, she slashed upward with her right hand, a long gash appeared in front of her, she tore a space appear, it was a rough spatial storage space, this space swallowed the monsters before closing.
She felt a little drained.
''Huff! It's scary how I could accomplish all those things as if it were natural. I feel like I'm dancing on someone else's tune, which is really irritating to say the truth.''
Lilith's eyes became frosty for a moment, space quaked, everything became still but only for a second before everything became normal again.
''Let's endure it for now. I'll use this opportunity to be lovely dovey with my soulmate for eternity. Any bitch that tries to steal my man will die. He is mine and nobody can snatch him away from me.''
The atmosphere was dangerous as she mumbled those words before she smiled innocently and vanished.
''Let's go, honey!" She dragged her man with her as they walked out.
The moment they did it, all eyes were on the couple and people began to murmur.
''Wow! She is so beautiful!" Mob A said.
''Yes, but she is a demon, it's my first time seeing one, and one so beautiful as that. Do you think she would accept a drink with me?" Mob B said puffing his chest.
''Look at yourself, you ugly toad.'' Mob C
''Wow! The man is so beautiful, more beautiful than an elf, I'm certain he is from angel's lineage.'' Mob D(Female), her eyes were shining with heart but a simple glare from Lilith and her heart almost stopped.
''You really think he's half angel? Or a real angel?" another Mob said, they became respectful all of a sudden, not only because of Lilith, a demon, a beautiful one as that, but most importantly an angel, the most noble race, leader of other races on the continent except dragons and demons.
It was shocking to see a demon and angel holding hands. Someone was about to comment on this, but Lilith's previous action had made them fearful, so one of them blocked the mouth of the Mob who was about to run her mouth without thinking about the consequences.
The couple ignored the murmurs and the weird stares they were receiving.
The crowd seemed to part to give them the way, and the couple wouldn't say no to this, so they walked forward until reaching the guards, who checked their identity.
They couldn't look the couple in the eyes.
''Welcome to Tokarrion, first time here I presume?"
''Yes!" Gabriel responded.
''Do you have an identification paper?"
''No, mister guard. We were thinking about registering at the adventurer guild once in the city. We are penniless right now, we killed monsters we wish to sell, so if you can let us in, a guard can follow us to the guild to see us register and come back with the entrance fee.'' At the end of her sentence, she used a little bit of her charm, and the troubled guard nodded as if possessed.
''Lucien, guide them to the Adventurer guild.'' the guard captain ordered one of his subordinates who nodded before leading the way, the couple followed Lucien as they finally entered the city, a majestic scenery welcomed them.
