The moment the Whale Plasma Cluster Beam Cannon fired, the Genesis Gundam moved under Felix's control.
It dodged to the left, evading the incoming beam.
Through the screen, Felix saw two explosions erupt on the battlefield.
Retracting the Whale Plasma Cluster Beam Cannon, the Genesis Gundam swung its mechanical arm in a slashing motion.
A thick beam from the Beam Saber swept across the battlefield.
Four Wired Guided Gun-barrels were instantly destroyed.
Apart from the exploding Wired Guided Gun-barrels, the remaining 105 Daggers evaded under their pilots' control.
"Fire!"
The command to fire echoed in the cockpits of the 105 Launcher Daggers.
Upon hearing the order, the pilots placed their fingers on the firing triggers and aimed through the scope systems. The moment targeting was complete, they pulled the triggers.
The Flame God Super High Impulse Cannons held by the 105 Launcher Daggers fired thick, high-energy beams.
The beams raced across the battlefield at incredible speed!
Just as they were about to strike the Genesis Gundam, it swung the Meteor's mechanical arm.
The Beam Saber swept horizontally.
All incoming attacks were neutralized by the beam from the saber.
After this strike, Felix maneuvered the Genesis Gundam to the left. After dodging an attack from behind, Felix pulled the trigger.
The 120cm High-Energy Beam Cannon fired!
Two thick beams shot straight toward the two firing 105 Launcher Daggers.
Seeing this, the 105 Launcher Dagger pilots urgently maneuvered their Daggers to evade. Barely avoiding the incoming beams, they saw the Genesis Gundam charging toward them through their screens.
Fear and panic appeared on their faces as they shouted frantically over the comms.
"Stop him! Stop him!"
"Got it! Got it! Stop yelling!"
A reply came over the comms, and the two saw their comrades moving to assist them.
Feeling slightly relieved, they continued to control their 105 Launcher Daggers.
Their fingers pressed the triggers, and the 120mm Vulcan Cannons rapidly emptied their ammunition from the barrels, followed by two missiles launched from the tubes.
As bullets and missiles approached, Felix expressionlessly pressed a command button.
The Genesis Gundam swung its mechanical arm.
The Beam Saber swept across, destroying all bullets and missiles.
Felix pulled the trigger.
The 93.7cm High-Energy Beam Cannon fired forward.
After unleashing the firepower, Felix gripped the control sticks with both hands, adjusting the angles of the Attitude Control Thrusters and propulsion nozzles.
The Genesis Gundam's frame shifted to the left.
Precisely evading the attack coming from behind.
The 93.7cm High-Energy Beam Cannon rotated, firing backward.
The pursuing Air Combat Daggers and Wired Guided Daggers swiftly performed evasive maneuvers.
Having dodged the attack, the Air Combat Daggers aimed their Beam Rifles, and the Wired Guided Daggers aimed their Beam Rifles and Wired Guided Gun-barrels, firing once more at the Genesis Gundam.
Inside the Genesis Gundam's cockpit
Felix made precise judgments based on the trajectory diagrams forming in his mind, executing actions rapidly.
The Genesis Gundam responded just as swiftly.
With its thruster nozzles angled downward, the Genesis Gundam rapidly ascended at a steep angle.
At the moment of gaining altitude, the Genesis Gundam turned around, and the 120cm High-Energy Beam Cannon on the Meteor fired.
After two beam attacks were launched, the Beam Saber swept horizontally once more.
A single sweeping strike intercepted all incoming attacks.
Three bursts of explosive light appeared on the screen.
"Captain Badgiruel, is there something you need?"
Paramount looked at Badgiruel standing before him and inquired expressionlessly. Hearing this, Badgiruel raised her hand in a salute and made her request while looking at Paramount.
"Chief of Staff Paramount, I request to be deployed to the front lines!"
Upon hearing the request, Paramount responded directly.
"All available forces in the base have already been dispatched. There's no way to send you to the front lines at the moment. You'll be assigned after the troops return for rotation."
Badgiruel's face showed clear dissatisfaction at this response, but she verbally complied with the order.
"I understand."
"Hmm." Paramount nodded slightly in acknowledgment of Badgiruel's response. Lowering his head and avoiding further eye contact, he began attending to the matters in his hands.
Seeing this, Badgiruel pressed her lips together before turning to leave.
After her departure, Paramount received a report from the front lines.
Reading the report's contents, Paramount stood up and headed toward the Commander's office.
In Commander Richard's office
"Commander, this is the latest combat report."
Standing before Richard, Paramount set down the report and spoke. Richard looked at the report before reaching out to pick it up.
Reading the contents, Richard slightly furrowed his brow.
Noticing Richard's concerned expression, Paramount spoke with worry.
"Commander, the situation at the front isn't favorable. We need to receive reinforcements within ten days, otherwise Ptolemy Military Base will be in grave danger."
"I'm aware of that." Richard nodded and set down the report. "You may leave now!"
"Yes, sir!"
Saluting in response, Paramount exited the office.
Watching Paramount depart, Richard contacted his superior.
After two beeps, the communication connected.
"How's the situation?"
Williams directly inquired about the situation as soon as the communication was established. Hearing the question, Richard responded with a grave expression and solemn tone.
"Commander, the current situation isn't favorable. If we don't receive reinforcements within ten days, Ptolemy Military Base will be in extreme danger."
Williams asked gravely, "Has it deteriorated to that extent already?"
"Yes."
Richard nodded in confirmation.
Receiving this response, Williams remained silent for a long moment before speaking.
"In that case, I'll do everything possible to expedite matters and strive to send reinforcements to you at the earliest opportunity."
With this assurance, the gravity on Richard's face lessened somewhat. He stood up, saluted, and responded.
"Thank you, Commander!"
Williams gave a slight nod before terminating the communication.
Looking at the ended transmission, Richard lowered his head to continue reviewing the combat report.
Meanwhile, on Earth
At Earth Alliance Forces Headquarters
After ending the communication, Williams began making the necessary arrangements.
While coordinating these arrangements, a communication alert sounded.
As the ringing sounded, Williams turned his gaze to the communicator and pressed the answer button with his finger.
President Moonenidy's face appeared on the communication screen. With a solemn expression, Williams raised his hand in a salute and spoke respectfully.
"Good day, Mr. President!"
"How is the situation on the Moon now?"
Moonenidy nodded slightly at the greeting and then inquired.
Williams lowered his arm and shook his head with a grave expression.
"According to Richard's report, the situation on the Moon is not very good at the moment."
After a moment of thought, Moonenidy spoke again.
"How are the reinforcements coming along?"
"Most of them have already been deployed to near-Earth orbit via the Spaceport. They will be fully prepared and ready to depart in about five days!"
