"Three-Tailed!" Feng Qi shouted.
At his command, Three-Tailed leaped into the air and unleashed a mental energy shockwave toward the distant domain creature.
A purple beam swept across the massive creature, instantly rendering it dazed. Its four limbs, which had been rhythmically pounding the ground, froze mid-stride as if severed from its brain. Momentum carried the creature forward, its head plunging into the earth and plowing a furrow several meters long.
Seeing this, Feng Qi nodded in satisfaction. He sprinted to the fallen domain creature and brought his heavy fist crashing down. By the time the creature recovered from its mental disorientation, it was too late. One brutal blow after another silenced it completely.
A Blood Mist Cluster materialized and was absorbed into Feng Qi's body.
Standing up, he opened his status panel to review his newly acquired innate ability and marked it as "Pending Decomposition."
In a flash, Three-Tailed materialized beside him, chirping sweetly and nuzzling his leg.
Seeing this, Feng Qi chuckled and ruffled Three-Tailed's head.
Having decided to keep Three-Tailed as a pet, he felt it was wrong to let the creature idle around like a clingy shadow.
With its capabilities, it should contribute some value.
So, for the rest of their journey, whenever they encountered domain creatures, Feng Qi would make Three-Tailed "stretch its legs."
Three-Tailed clearly resented this, but faced with Feng Qi's threat of erasing its consciousness, it had no choice but to comply.
Based on his understanding of Three-Tailed, its nature was vindictive and deeply resentful.
Its current obedience was merely a facade born of helplessness. Behind its docile demeanor, it was likely cursing him countless times.
At that moment, his bloodline evolution points had reached 1987/10000.
He still had a long way to go before advancing.
But strengthening oneself was never a task that could be accomplished in a single leap. So, he chose to continue his journey.
The weather in the future world was highly volatile.
The skies constantly rumbled with thunder and flashed with lightning.
Every so often, a chilling wind would howl through, scattering the white petals of the flower sea in a swirling blizzard.
A fine, crimson rain began to fall again, scattering gently across the sky. Combined with the dim light and the howling wind, the scene resembled a scene from a horror movie.
But Feng Qi had long grown accustomed to this environment.
Even if a hideous monster suddenly leaped out of the sea of flowers, he wouldn't be startled. He'd simply rush forward to land a few punches, hoping to convert it into an innate ability or talent points.
After walking along the cliff for a while, he glanced down at Three-Tailed, who was trotting beside him.
"Three-Tailed, can you change your form?"
Three-Tailed tilted its head, its large, watery eyes filled with confusion.
"We need to go somewhere soon, and your current appearance won't be suitable for interacting with the lifeforms there. You'll need to adopt a different form."
Three-Tailed looked even more puzzled.
It scratched its temple with a paw, then suddenly its expression cleared with realization.
To Feng Qi's astonishment, Three-Tailed took a deep breath, its body swelling like a balloon until it became a giant, inflatable version of itself.
"Chirp!" Three-Tailed chirped triumphantly, looking at him with smug satisfaction.
Feng Qi: ...
Is this Three-Tailed an idiot? We should just kill it and make soup. Otherwise, when we return to the Real World, it might suddenly pop up at Star City Academy. The whole city would erupt in chaos! Tomorrow's headlines would scream: "Domain-Transcending Creature Invades Star City Academy!"
The Narrator's words echoed Feng Qi's own concerns.
Three-Tailed's Miracle Token had already been implanted in his sea of consciousness.
However, miracle items differed fundamentally from innate abilities.
Innate abilities were like bodily organs, completely integrated into his being, becoming as natural as breathing.
Miracle items, on the other hand, were more like treasures stored within his sea of consciousness, part of his collection.
Yet they remained entirely independent entities.
This was evident from Three-Tailed's continued independent consciousness and its ability to freely enter and exit his sea of consciousness.
After careful consideration, Feng Qi realized that Three-Tailed's behavior carried immense risks.
The Future Dream Realm was no problem; Three-Tailed could enter and exit at will without causing any major disruptions.
But the Real World was a different story entirely.
Three-Tailed's appearance would immediately be mistaken for that of a domain creature, not a species native to the human world.
This was especially true in highly sensitive locations like Star City Academy.
Its sudden appearance would undoubtedly cause a sensation, putting the entire city on high alert and creating massive repercussions.
Feng Qi wondered if the Three-Tailed created by the Token Consciousness could "re-sculpt" its face and modify its physical form, ideally into a cat or dog shape that already existed in the Real World.
That way, even if it suddenly materialized, it would be easier to explain and wouldn't cause a panic.
Three-Tailed clearly misunderstood his intentions. It inflated itself into a different shape and gave him a smug look.
Idiot tail!
Watching Three-Tailed slowly float up from the ground, Feng Qi said, slightly exasperated, "Change back. I don't want this kind of superficial transformation."
"Whoosh!" Three-Tailed exhaled the air from its body and landed lightly on the ground.
Looking up at Feng Qi, Three-Tailed wore a thoughtful expression.
"Didn't you understand? At the very least, you could merge your three tails into one."
Hearing this, Three-Tailed glanced back at his fluffy tails, a look of reluctance crossing his face.
"Can you transform them? If not, you're staying inside."
Faced with the choice between transformation and confinement, Three-Tailed wrestled with his thoughts, occasionally turning to nibble at his tails, his eyes filled with reluctance.
Feng Qi understood Three-Tailed's attachment to his tails. He had often found the creature grooming them.
Squatting down, Feng Qi gently patted Three-Tailed's head. "I'm not asking you to cut off your tails. I'm asking if you can conceal them."
Three-Tailed froze, then looked up and nodded vigorously.
A purple glow erupted from Three-Tailed's body, swirling around him as his three distinct tails gradually merged into a single one.
Feng Qi picked up Three-Tailed, turning him over to examine him closely.
"The tail's too long. Shorten it further."
Three-Tailed immediately complied.
"Your belly's too small. You need to be chubbier to look more like a cat."
"And your expression—don't be so human-like. Try to maintain a blank, adorable look..."
After some "face-pinching," the Three-Tailed's appearance had changed slightly.
With its large, watery eyes and fluffy body, it now resembled a ragdoll cat.
