Karl hung up.
He could tell Sengoku right now that Enel was already dead—
But no.
Let the bullet fly a little longer.
Let Mary Geoise's destruction shake the world.
Then he would return triumphantly—
With the corpse.

Preserving the "Hero"
Karl casually cast a Holy Light over Enel's corpse.
Not to revive him—

Leaping skyward—

The already-ruined island suffered further devastation.
Explosions.
Dust clouds.
Sea spray.
One corner of the island collapsed into the ocean.

He landed—
Pulled Enel's body from the refrigerator—
And waited for it to thaw.
Three hours later—
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku. This is Karl."
"Have you located Enel?"
Karl smiled calmly.
"Report: Criminal Enel has been killed."
"…I see—"
"What?!"
"Enel has been killed."
"The body is here on Long Ring Long Land."
"Send someone to retrieve me."
Sengoku stood abruptly.
"Good! Excellent!"
"I'll dispatch ships immediately!"

Shockwaves spread across the seas.
Some cheered.
Some panicked.
Some were indifferent.

"Capturing him couldn't have been easy!"
"Vice Admiral White Crow must have fought fiercely!"
Karl stood at the edge of a massive crater.
Inside—
Enel's corpse.
Pinned upright by Leiyu through the chest.
Heroic silhouette.
"Ara ara…"
A lazy voice sounded behind him.
"You're fast."
"We were still searching."
"And you already killed him."
It was Kuzan.
Karl smiled modestly.
"Anyone of your level could've done the same, Admiral."
"I was just lucky."
