The Stella Club's logistics Mecha Girls charged forward shoulder to shoulder, with Tunbao rushing at the very front.
The aggressive sight instantly stunned Leon Li and Snowpeak.
After all, they had not exactly been doing anything good. Putting up recruitment notices outside someone else's club might sound nice if you called it resource competition between clubs, but to put it bluntly, it was just plain immoral.
"Master, what do we do now?" Snowpeak tugged on Leon Li's sleeve, a trace of worry finally appearing on her delicate face.
She was not worried about what punishment they might receive if they were caught.
She was afraid that if she and Leon Li were locked up separately, she would not be able to stand it.
"Don't be scared, Snowpeak. Remember what I told you? The more dangerous things get, the calmer you have to be!" As soon as he finished speaking, he crouched down, leaned against the roadside, and mimicked a trash can. His voice came from inside the "trash can." "Snowpeak, blend into nature with me!"
"Oh!" Seeing this, Snowpeak quickly ran over to Leon Li, crouched down beside him, and entered mimicry as well.
Whether they got caught or not did not matter.

Leon Li and Snowpeak exchanged a glance, neither of them intending to move.
Leon Li: "This is a trick to deceive the enemy. Don't trust it."
Snowpeak: "Oh!"
Tunbao's mouth twitched.
A trick to deceive the enemy? She could hear them just fine!
She gave the functional Mecha Girls on either side a look.
Several functional Mecha Girls immediately surrounded them and, in a few swift moves, tied Leon Li and Snowpeak up tight with special rope. Two of the functional Mecha Girls entered deployment mode and transformed into forklifts, lifting Leon Li and Snowpeak before carrying them away.
The other functional Mecha Girls began clearing away the recruitment notices that had been plastered almost all the way around the Stella Club's perimeter wall.

Stella Club.
In the conference room, a sleepy-eyed Derek Su sat in the main seat.
Stella and Imperial Scale stood behind him like two door gods, one on each side.
Farther back stood Tunbao, looking smug, and Absolute Shadow, whose cold expression carried a faint anger in her eyes.
"Tell me, what exactly are you two trying to pull?"
Derek Su looked at Leon Li and Snowpeak, who were tied up in front of him, and rubbed his brow.
Damn it!! His afternoon nap had died just like that. He had not even slept for half an hour.
If this kept up, his skin was going to get worse!
"We only have one intention," Leon Li said, tugging awkwardly at the corner of his mouth, his face full of embarrassment.
Snowpeak picked up after him and said with a straight face, "We came to poach people."
Leon Li: "It was our boss's assignment."
Snowpeak: "If we don't finish the task, we'll be put in confinement when we go back! I don't want to be locked up!"
Leon Li: "Every minute and every second away from Snowpeak is unbearable."
Tunbao & Stella & Imperial Scale: "..."
They came to the Stella Club to poach people?
Derek Su's expression turned strange.
He barely had anyone here. What was there to poach?
He was the only coach. Counting Zane and Vanessa, there were only three drivers. There were quite a few Mecha Girls, but every one of them was firmly rooted here. The only people they might be able to poach were from the logistics department... unless Crown Club could offer higher wages, but considering Absolute Shadow's identity, that did not seem very likely either.
"I originally had a pretty good impression of you two, but what you've done now has disappointed me." Derek Su leaned back in his chair and stared coldly at Leon Li.
Admiration was one thing, but Leon Li and Snowpeak's actions had genuinely infringed on the Stella Club's interests.
As the club owner, he definitely could not just brush this matter aside.
He had to give the Mecha Girls under him an explanation.
"So, how do you plan to handle this? Hm? Have your boss pay to redeem you. Otherwise, I'll have no choice but to send you to the police station. And if it affects your future races, don't blame me."
Putting recruitment notices on another club's walls like this was already illegal. Never mind where they put them. It would be illegal even if they pasted them somewhere else. This counted as damaging the city's environment, increasing the difficulty of urban management and the cost of environmental cleanup. It was a completely different matter from handing out flyers!
Leon Li and Snowpeak exchanged a glance, and both fell silent.
Just as Derek Su was starting to grow impatient,
Leon Li suddenly raised his head and said solemnly,
"Boss Su, why don't you come to our Crown Club? I'll give you my ace position. Crown Club has great resources and benefits. When the time comes, I'll apply to the boss and have him create a department just for you. Your own logistics department. All your Mecha Girls will still be yours. No one will touch them!"
As soon as he said that,
the entire conference room went silent.
Even Snowpeak stared at Leon Li with her small mouth hanging open.
Derek Su was stunned too.
What the hell?
Was this Defying the Heavenly Stems?
Since he could not poach anyone, he was going straight for the boss?!
Well done, Leon Li. You really were a straight shooter~
Derek Su glared at Leon Li's sincere face, clenching his fists so hard his teeth itched with anger.
