Chapter 518 - Beş Yüz On Sekiz

While the black color of the two daggers blocking the stick in a crossed position maintained their coldness in defiance of the daylight, the copper color of the enemy's weapon was fading moment by moment. Kuzey, who started to sweat inside his ice-blue armor worn over his gray pants, wanted to raise his right foot and hit his physically weak enemy when he realized he wouldn't get a result even if he increased the pressure, but he was a little too late to think of this.

His eyes, which had just seen the blood-red-haired orc, were now watching the energy barrier separating them from the outside world. After shaking off his initial surprise, he thrust his weapon into the ground and managed to stand up again with the help of his boots emitting light from underneath.

"You all have a toy, a gimmick. Your glowing, exploding equipment is never missing. What's up, do they distribute these to you as social aid?"

Kuzey, who stood a little over two meters tall, wasn't listening to the words of the female orc putting her hands on her hips. As he used the boots he used to find his balance just now to gain speed, he attacked again under the protection of the shield formed by the shattering of the bracer on his left arm.

He moved like a meteor, and when he reached the point he had just flown away from, the pieces of the tent shattered by the violence of the blow scattered around. The enemy he wanted to crush using his wide body and shield wasn't among them; she was watching him five paces to his right.

"I have to give you your due; once you get slapped, neither your arrogance nor your savagery remains. You immediately choose the safest path where you will secure yourself the most, but there are still some idiots among you!"

Before finishing her speech, the daggers flying from her hands opening to the two sides returned thanks to the blood-red energy threads tying them to Nafız's hands after entering through the heads of the two soldiers approaching from behind her. This was the enemy's home; just because she was fighting one person didn't mean she could focus solely on him. While normal soldiers and officers appeared from everywhere, there were also those among them who had the authority to stand at the head of the same table as the giant man who was attacking again.

Just when the gliding net was right over Nafız, she dropped to the ground as if a force pulled her down, and Kuzey didn't want to miss this opportunity either. He turned his shield back into a bracelet, raised his bronze-colored stick over three meters long, which he gripped tightly with both hands, above his head, and brought it down taking a huge step.

There was no speech, not even the facial expressions of the man named Kuzey moved, but their harmony with the woman standing right across from him at the rectangular table was almost perfect. There was only one reason why it was called almost perfect, and this was revealed when the stick beat the inside of the empty net.

Even though the material the net was manufactured from and the nature of the equipment prevented it from being torn or cut and destroyed, there was a place it couldn't cover. When the Blood God burst through the earth under the woman with the title Güney who stepped on the ground, everyone understood how she escaped.

When the dagger entering from the right thigh came out of the left shoulder, Nafız's face soured. Even though she could leave the effect she wanted for the first handspan, the effect of the daggers she received as the Blessing of the Ancestors on Güney's armor only remained at this.

"I suppose I don't have to use these for now!"

The matte black daggers disappeared and nothing replaced them. Güney, covering the wound on her leg, and Kuzey, whose move missed, were watching her. They had recognized their enemy; she could shoot arrows, use daggers, and managed to escape their traps that had taken many lives.

What would she do now, what weapon would she choose to fight them. Nafız didn't have the bracelets Abarran made for his daughter on her arms, in fact, all the items belonging to her were in the Underworld, with their original owners, but no one could tear the knowledge of how they were used from the Blood God.

"I haven't held these babies in my hands for a very long time. What can I say, it's your lucky day!"

When the two thin blood-red energies hit the ground, they coiled like snakes; the dust cloud they kicked up reduced visibility a bit. This was enough for the Blood God; after taking two steps towards Kuzey, she turned her direction to the woman pushing the limits of brunetteness named Güney with a sudden turn.

Even though Sasha, rejoicing in victory at the other end of the continent, had first tasted the Blood Whips, Güney, wearing bronze armor, was about to get her share too. Perhaps the thickness of the whips emerging from the bracelets had thinned before, but the woman taking guard with two shields would actually experience firsthand what had changed.

The shields, which were a part of her armor that the matte black daggers couldn't penetrate, were cut like paper, and a whip touching her wrist almost caused her left hand to be severed. The astonishment Kuzey experienced was now on her face; very few lucky people could understand Nafız's might without taking a blow from her.

Fleeing backward, she used the speed-increasing feature of her boots to recover, but the blood-red hair was right before her eyes. She could only use the single shield now, and she knew that wouldn't be of any use either; the net shooting out of her breastplate was perhaps her last trump card, but the Blood God was too old to fall for such cheap tricks. She stepped aside for a moment, and the net flew away.

"Killing two birds with one stone!"

In the brief moment Nafız accelerated to her right side and pulled back, more than one thing had actually happened. The stick coming to impale the very middle of her spinal cord had missed her and hit Güney, and the net thrown to subdue the orc warrior had rooted Kuzey to the spot.

The Blood God, managing not to get caught in friendly fire, dyed her dark skin red two seconds after wrapping her two whips around the delicate neck of Güney, who was stunned by her friend's blow. The part of the bustier-shaped armor covering the entire throat prevented her head from being ripped off, but Güney was suffocating due to her crushed windpipe.

Even if she wanted to say something in her final moments, her shattered vocal cords didn't allow it. She tried to escape while dying, turning more purple every moment; her intact legs managed to carry her meters away, but Nafız was constantly by her side like a vulture waiting for its prey to die.

Whoever wanted to rush to help could do nothing but offer their life energies; the Blood Whips sent the people they touched ahead to where Güney would go shortly.

"Güney!"

When the woman with flawless body measurements despite her shattered neck couldn't hold on any longer and closed her eyes, Kuzey, who couldn't manage to get out of the net, shouted; the tears streaming from his eyes could easily be discerned even from paces away.

"The reason for this harmony of yours has become clear. I guess the reason you can understand each other without talking is because your tongues have touched each other many times before!"

Even when it became certain there was a love story involved, the Blood God didn't feel the slightest sympathy for the enemy; this was a battlefield, feeling sympathy for the enemy was one of the biggest mistakes you could make. A job started shouldn't be left unfinished, it was necessary to ensure the grieving lover reunited with his beloved, and Nafız stomped her right foot hard on the ground and lunged towards her new victim five breaths away. A trapped animal would become increasingly ferocious; if it miraculously escaped, it would attack more wildly, more strongly, and more ferociously than before.

"Doğu, keep that creature away!"

When arrows, each the length of her own arm, rained down on her, Nafız was about to kill the one who was still breathing among the lovers, but unfortunately, she used her whips to parry the attacks that suddenly appeared.

The man who shouted just now was next to Kuzey, and using his dual swords glowing with cold blue color, he freed the man almost as burly as Alyon from captivity.

"I'm going to kill you with my own hands. I will break your bones, I will tear your flesh, I will drink your blood!"

The enraged Kuzey attempted to attack Nafız the moment he got free from the dead Güney's net, but Batı, carrying dual swords, managed to subdue the grieving man along with Doğu coming to his side.

"I hear you say these things so often that they sound like birds chirping to me now. Besides, why are you getting so angry, I didn't tear your girlfriend up that much, her beauty is a bit ruined but if you catch up before she gets cold, she's still doable!"
