The smoke from the explosion was swept away by the fierce winds on the plains, leaving the Earth in a state of utter ruin.

Craters, scorched Earth, and wails intertwined to form an apocalyptic tableau.

Upon these ruins, not a single standing member of the Vought Heroes could be seen.

Tony's armor had already scattered into countless pieces of scrap metal; Rogers lay slumped on the ground, the paint on his Vibranium shield completely worn away, having been smashed deep into the rock layers.

Even that violent green behemoth, Hulk, had exhausted his rage under the successive heavy blows, his massive body shrinking as he reverted back into Bruce Banner.

"Is this your last hope?"

Homelander looked around at the heroes fallen all over the ground and mocked them.

"Utterly fragile."

"Now the game is over. Are you ready to embrace your destruction?"

Inside the global livestream rooms, no one spoke; a tide of despair washed over everyone's hearts.

"Rumble——!!!"

A deafening clap of thunder suddenly exploded over the cloudless desert! It caused the global audience to focus their gaze once again.

The originally clear sky was rapidly covered by thick, dark clouds.

Within the heavy layers of black clouds, countless thick bolts of lightning slithered like wild snakes, emitting a soul-stirring roar.

Homelander frowned slightly and looked up at the sky.

"Hmm?"

In the distance, the previously unconscious Thor was surrounded by electrical arcs, his body slowly floating up from the ground.

His eyes snapped open, and a dazzling, blazing thunderous light erupted from them!

A massive pillar of lightning descended from the heavens, piercing through his body. Thor was bathed in endless lightning, looking like a God descending to the World!

"What kind of God did you say I am?"

Thor's voice was like rolling heavenly thunder, echoing over the wilderness.

He spread his hands, and the lightning across the sky converged in his palms.

"I am the God of Thunder—Thor!!!"

With a World-shaking roar.

Ten thousand bolts of lightning descended from the sky, launching a lethal charge toward Homelander's position!

"For Midgard! For the glory of Asgard!"

A giant pillar of lightning, over five meters in diameter, completely swallowed Homelander's figure!

"Boom————————!!!"

The blinding thunderous light turned the entire livestream room into a sheet of pure white.

"Keep going! Don't stop!" Steve shouted at Thor while clutching his wounds.

Thor poured out the divine power within his body without reservation, as if he wanted to transform all his anger and determination to protect into this World-destroying lightning.

The pillar of lightning continuously struck the spot where Homelander was, sending countless fragments of rock flying outward.

The lightning strike lasted for nearly five full minutes!

Finally, Thor's power began to fade, the dark clouds in the sky slowly dispersed, and the pillar of lightning gradually withdrew.

Thor gasped for air heavily, staring intently at the deep crater that had been blasted into the ground ahead.

The gaze of all humanity focused once more.

The dust scattered with the wind.

Inside the deep crater.

That arrogant Skrull, Gravik, was currently kneeling on one knee like an ancient Roman sculpture.

At this moment, the armor on his body showed multiple ruptures, its surface covered in scorched marks, and black smoke was rising from all over him; he looked extremely disheveled.

This scene was broadcast all over the World via the livestream.

After a brief moment of silence.

Cheers like a landslide or a tsunami erupted from all over the globe!

"It hit! He hit him!"

"It's effective! He's injured!"

"He's kneeling! That monster is kneeling!!"

"Thor! Thor! Thor! Thor!!"

The whole World was cheering for this awakened God of Thunder; the dawn of hope once again pierced through the gloom, illuminating the Earth.

Everyone believed that if the God of Thunder could just land one more attack like that, he could completely end this nightmare.

Thor looked at the disheveled Skrull at the bottom of the crater, and his tensed nerves finally relaxed slightly.

"It finally worked!" Thor's confidence surged.

His attack had finally broken through this monster's defense.

Just one more time, and he could completely end this absurd Skrull game!

Not only could he save Midgard and his fallen comrades, but he would also earn the adoration of the masses.

More importantly, Jane.

Thor's mind couldn't help but imagine the moment when he would accept the cheers in the posture of a victor, and Jane would rush toward him with a face full of pride, giving him a hot and deep kiss.

At that thought, his adrenaline spiked, and the electrical arcs around him surged again as he prepared to press the advantage and kill the alien in one go.

"Die, monster!" Thor roared, preparing to bring down another lightning judgment.

"Heh... Hahahaha!" A low laugh drifted out from the bottom of the crater. The laughter grew louder and louder, finally turning into unrestrained wild laughter.

The smoke-covered Skrull slowly stood up, casually brushing off the broken armor fragments and nonchalantly cracking his neck.

"Not bad, really not bad."

"The God of Thunder of Asgard... indeed has some skill."

Thor stopped his movements, his brow furrowed tightly.

This tone, this presence—it seemed slightly different from before.

But Thor had no time to think further, let alone make any reaction.

In the blink of an eye, that figure crossed the distance of dozens of meters and appeared right in front of Thor.

Without any fancy movements, a fist the size of a clay pot slammed heavily into the side of Thor's face.

"Bang!"

Thor's face was directly caved in by the blow, and fresh blood sprayed wildly from his mouth.

His body was like a launched cannonball, smashing through over a dozen giant rocks before coming to a stop.

Thor looked in shock at the expressionless Gravik in the distance; although it was the same face,

It was different.

The presence was completely different.

Before, although he was arrogant, his attack patterns were still traceable.

But now, he exuded an aura of pure destruction.

If the Gravik from a moment ago was a hunter who liked to toy with his prey, then the current him was an abyss that swallowed light.

Because what he didn't know was... at this very moment, the one standing here fighting him was no longer Homelander!

Just as those heaven-filling bolts of lightning swallowed Homelander, Homelander had concealed his form again.

At the same time, he released Darkseid, the trophy he had brought from another Earth—that is... DarkEgo!

DarkEgo inherited Gravik's physical disguise and took over from Homelander for the rest of the battle.

Meanwhile, Homelander went to prepare for his next scene of divine manifestation.

Homelander would show mercy out of consideration for their relationship and the value of the 'leeks'.

But DarkEgo would not; he harbored a destructive divinity that even Ego could not fully assimilate.

In a real fight, he wouldn't even hold back against his Master, Homelander.

"Thor!" Steve shouted out in concern.

Thor snapped back to his senses, struggling to prop himself up and gathering his divine power to prepare for a counterattack.

But DarkEgo's feet had already appeared directly above him.

He stomped down heavily!

"Bang!"

The Earth trembled violently as Thor's chest was pinned down by DarkEgo's feet, his entire back sinking deep into the rock layers.

"With just this little power, you actually aspire to save the World?" DarkEgo's voice was low and cold, completely looking down on this so-called indigenous God.

He reached out a large hand, grabbed Thor's skull, and lifted the tall and mighty God of Thunder into the air like a small chick.

"Argh!" Thor struggled in rage, his hands erupting with lightning that struck DarkEgo.

But DarkEgo didn't even twitch an eyebrow.

"God of Thunder?"

His right knee suddenly jerked upward, slamming hard into Thor's abdomen.

Pfft—!

Thor spat out a large mouthful of blood, vaguely mixed with fragments of internal organs.

DarkEgo did not stop for a second.

Once!

Twice!!

Three times!!!

Looking at the dying Thor, DarkEgo felt no compassion at all.

The thumb of the hand gripping Thor's skull applied pressure, pressing into Thor's right eye.

Blood shot out from between DarkEgo's fingers like a fountain.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH——!!!"

Thor let out the most shrill scream of his life.
