Chapter 405 - Lovely: Perfect Happiness

"You... you killed a prince of the Victoriaz Kingdom?" Oliver asked, his voice trembling slightly.

"Yes, it was my only choice. Not only because the prince attacked me, but also because I had to eliminate any potential threats to our future, while taking revenge for what that man had done to Calverd."

"Was he truly that dangerous?" Oliver asked again.

"Yes, he was extremely dangerous!" Arvin replied bluntly. "He had mastered the 'blink' magic, the ability to instantly teleport his body a certain distance. If he had remained our enemy, he could have slaughtered many of our people in the blink of an eye."

A heavy silence immediately filled the room.

The fact that their husband had assassinated a prince within his own territory served as absolute, undeniable proof. The handsome man currently standing before them was someone willing to do whatever it took, and destroy whoever stood in his way, to protect what was his.

...

After concluding the dark tale that occurred in the Victoriaz Kingdom territory, Arvin intended to refocus his attention on the remaining weapons and combat armors in the middle of the room.

However, Alrain suddenly stepped forward, separating himself from the others with slow, heavy steps.

Arvin, who saw Alrain approaching him with heavy steps, immediately turned his full attention to his second spouse.

"Is there something you want to say to me, Alrain?" Arvin asked, his voice flowing calmly.

"Are you... are you truly not angry with me for interrogating and degrading your thirteenth spouse to such an extent, My Love?" Alrain asked once more, as if needing absolute certainty.

Arvin stared at the figure before him and stepped forward. He reached out his hand, and very gently touched Alrain's shoulder.

"Let me emphasize this once again! I know you very well, Alrain, and I never thought you had made a mistake." Arvin replied in an incredibly gentle and soothing tone, giving absolute certainty so his second spouse wouldn't feel guilty anymore. "Haven't you already accepted and allowed him to live with us in this mansion?"

Alrain responded with a firm nod.

"If that's so, live in harmony with him from now on." Arvin advised gently. "Because right now, under this roof... we are all one big family."

An immense feeling of relief instantly exploded, Alrain smiled widely at his husband's wisdom, a genuine smile that made his face look far more radiant.

"Yes, My Love, I will!"

On the other side of the room, Oliver, who stood in silence, observed the entire interaction carefully. In his eyes, his admiration for this new family, especially for the Head of the Household, soared even higher.

Oliver saw Arvin Vedegra as an extraordinarily warm and affectionate protector, possessing a deeply caring nature and exceptional wisdom in understanding his spouses.

However, amidst his overflowing admiration, Oliver realized one small detail that he felt needed to be corrected immediately.

Out of all his spouses in this room, it seems I am the only one still calling my husband by his real name. Oliver thought, realizing his ignorance. I am his spouse! As his spouse, I must have a special term of endearment to assert Arvin as my husband!

Arvin shifted his gaze and looked straight at the yellow-haired youth, who was still standing completely naked.

"What about you, Oliver?" he asked in a calm tone, making sure once again that everything was all right. "Do you still harbor any anger or resentment toward Alrain after his harsh treatment of you a few days ago?"

Oliver shook his head. "I don't mind it at all. On the contrary, I actually feel very relieved! He acted remarkably well as your second spouse."

He then smiled sweetly in front of the handsome man who would accompany his life for all eternity.

"You were not wrong to make Alrain your trusted right hand, My Lovely."

Arvin froze for a moment after hearing the last two words coming from his thirteenth spouse's mouth.

"My Lovely?" Arvin repeated what Oliver had just said. "Why did you suddenly decide to call me that?"

"Besides the fact that your face is indeed 'lovely', your attitude and personality are also so 'lovely' that they make me truly not regret my decision to make you my husband." Oliver answered honestly, revealing the reason behind his new endearment with a proud tone. "To me, you are My Lovely."

Hearing the straightforward explanation of the meaning and reason behind the term of endearment, Arvin could no longer hide his happy smile.

"Is that how I am in your eyes?" Arvin replied, his tone now sounding a bit lower, teasing his spouse.

"Yes, of course you are!" Oliver answered firmly, brimming with pride.

"I feel very pleased and happy to receive that endearment from you." Arvin said gently. His eyes then slowly moved downward, sweeping over Oliver's body from top to bottom before looking back up into the youth's eyes. "But... aren't you aware that you are currently standing stark naked in front of all of us?"

Hearing his husband's words, Oliver immediately lowered his head. He looked down at his own body, which indeed wasn't wearing a single thread of clothing.

And that was the extent of it.

Oliver only cast a fleeting glance at his own body, as if his nakedness was not a big deal at all, despite being seen by everyone in the room.

He lifted his face and looked back at his husband's face with full confidence.

"So what? Aren't I already your thirteenth spouse?" Oliver asked back, completely unbothered by his exposed naked body in front of everyone. "This body and everything I possess now are entirely yours. You are free to do whatever you want to me, My Lovely!"

Arvin let out a long sigh, one laden with relief and satisfaction. Oliver's nature in this real world truly matched his character description in the game. Once his heart was conquered, his loyalty could never be shaken by anything.

"Yes, you are my spouse. And forever, we will always be together."

Oliver smiled so widely that he revealed his neat row of white teeth after hearing the words laden with absolute possession from his husband's mouth.

A perfect happiness had filled his heart.
