Chapter 354: A Deal with Dragon
"Tsk, Dragon, your father is really as stubborn as a bull—like the kind that ten tigers couldn't drag back."
Jiang Qize shifted his gaze toward a nearby house and said with a light chuckle.
Garp's face darkened as he followed his line of sight.
From behind that house, a figure cloaked in a deep green robe stepped out.
"Mr. Ze, it's an honor to meet you."
Monkey D. Dragon looked at him with a faint smile as he spoke.
Dragon removed his hood, revealing a face marked with a red square-pattern tattoo on the left side.
"The honor is mine as well." Jiang Qize nodded.
"Dragon… you still dare to come back!" Garp glared at him, so angry his beard bristled.
"Father, you can't stop me. The World Government has already… rotted!"
Dragon looked at Garp and said in a deep voice.
"Hmph!"
Garp's eyes flickered a few times before he let out a cold snort and dropped the matter.
"Mr. Ze, I wonder if you have time now? I'd like to talk."
Dragon looked at Jiang Qize with a trace of respect.
"Sure."
Jiang Qize nodded with a smile.
He hadn't come here to fight—he truly just wanted to see what the future protagonist was like. After all, since he had ended up in this world, it wouldn't feel right not to take a look at the main character.
Then the two of them turned into a gust of wind and lightning, disappearing from the spot.
Garp's eyes glinted as he took out a special Den Den Mushi.
Then he spoke a few words into it.
…
Inside a tavern—
Jiang Qize and Dragon sat across from each other at a table, beginning their discussion.
"Mr. Ze, the Revolutionary Army would like to make a deal with the Dragon Flame Pirate Crew. We want to purchase goods from your territory, as well as weapons."
Dragon got straight to the point as he looked at him.
Jiang Qize wore a faint smile and said softly, "You can discuss that directly with Robin. As long as the price is right, we can sell anything—including Pluton."
To him, weapons were secondary.
Only by increasing the strength of the dinosaurs could his own strength grow—that mattered far more than external weapons.
"Really?"
Dragon's eyes lit up, and his breathing quickened.
Pluton was a super weapon—one shot could destroy an island. For them, it was something that could ensure survival.
After witnessing Jiang Qize's strength, he had already estimated the power of the World Government and realized that with their current strength, it was impossible to overthrow the world's ruling system.
The Revolutionary Army was still too weak. Even though they advanced step by step, leveraging the will of the people to overthrow nations one by one, the progress was far too slow.
Each time, Marines or even powerful figures from the World Government would arrive quickly, severely hindering their progress.
"Of course—as long as you can afford it."
Jiang Qize smiled.
To him, money always came first.
Hearing this, a bitter expression immediately appeared on Dragon's face.
The Revolutionary Army wasn't exactly wealthy right now.
"Looks like you're in a bit of a difficult position. If you want to walk this path, you must have strong logistics backing you. Without money, you can't even begin to talk about anything else."
Jiang Qize shook his head.
"However…"
"However what?" Dragon stared at him intently.
"However, I can provide the goods to you first. You can resell them and earn the difference, then settle the payment with me afterward."
"This…"
Dragon was undoubtedly a smart man. Being able to establish the Revolutionary Army into such a massive force was proof enough of his intelligence.
Naturally, he immediately understood the implication behind those words, and his eyes lit up.
