Chapter 355: Tisi

"Mr. Ze, then here's to a pleasant cooperation!"

Dragon happily raised his bowl of wine.

"To a pleasant cooperation." Jiang Qize smiled and clinked bowls with him.

"Ah—"

Suddenly, a petite figure bumped into him, letting out a soft cry before falling to the ground.

Jiang Qize stood there like iron nailed in place, not moving an inch from the impact.

He set down his bowl and looked toward the ground.

There lay a girl wearing a simple dress. Her skin was fair and delicate, almost flawless, and her side profile was extremely refined.

"Why did she come out again? Seriously…"

"Exactly. Looking like that and still coming out to scare people."

"Well, if you don't look at that side, she's actually quite pretty."

The people in the tavern pointed at her and whispered among themselves, most of them showing no kindness on their faces.

Hearing those voices, the girl on the ground showed fear on her face. She bit her lip and tried to get up.

But her ankle was already sprained. The pain made her frown tightly, on the verge of tears, and the fear on her face grew even stronger.

At that moment, a hand extended toward her.

Tisi froze for a moment, then looked up.

A refined yet cold face appeared before her. His eyes, as if containing countless stars, looked at her—without even a trace of disgust or dislike.

Her heart seemed to be stirred.

"Are you okay?"

Jiang Qize looked at her and asked softly.

"I-I'm fine."

Tisi quickly lowered her head, using her hair to cover her face, not daring to look at him. Her voice was gentle.

"You sprained your ankle."

Jiang Qize said softly. Then he crouched down and gently held her slender, delicate foot.

"Ah—"

Tisi was startled, and the movement pulled at her injury, making her cry out softly in pain.

At the same time, her body trembled in fear, and tears welled up in her eyes.

Holding her pale, slender ankle, Jiang Qize used his Observation Haki to clearly perceive her injury.

Then faint arcs of electricity appeared in his hand and flowed into the injured area.

"Ah~"

Tisi let out a soft, delicate moan. Her body went numb and softened.

A blush spread across her face, and her body continued to tremble.

A few seconds later—

"All done."

Jiang Qize released his hand.

Feeling the warmth of his hands leave her ankle, Tisi felt an unexpected sense of emptiness.

She moved her foot slightly and realized—it really didn't hurt anymore.

But in the next moment, a pair of hands took hold of hers and gently pulled her up.

"L-let go of me."

Tisi nervously raised her head, looking at the owner of those hands, fear in her eyes.

Especially when she saw his gaze fall on the ugly side of her right face, tears slid down uncontrollably.

Jiang Qize paused for a moment as he looked at her.

No wonder the people in the tavern disliked her so much.

On the right side of her face was a palm-sized birthmark, red like a rose, looking quite ferocious.

If her left side was like an angel, then her right side was like a fallen angel.

In truth, her right side was just as delicate as the left—only that patch of red…

A smile appeared on Jiang Qize's face. His hand gently rested on her right cheek, softly wiping away her tears.

"Actually… it looks pretty nice too."

Tisi's body trembled, becoming stiff.

"Tsk, kids these days—do they all like this kind of thing now…"

"Exactly. That's a ghost birthmark. Anyone who stays with her won't live long."

The people around them mocked and ridiculed him one after another.
