It's been a long time since I'm alone with Alpha.
To be fair, back at the territory, he was always busy due to his position. It also didn't help that his brothers are too clingy to him, much to his annoyance.
His brothers are not that young. According to Alpha, they are around the same age as Orm. But they acted like toddlers when he's around, except when they are in a rut.
You'll easily notice when they are in a rut when there are presence of so many females surrounding them.
Hmmm.. just like the time back then after Lion, Ghost, Sly and Orm had a bit of duel against Alpha and his brothers.
To better understand what is a rut, it is equivalent to being in heat.
Being in heat is for females while rut is for males.
Being in rut is a period of intense hormonal intensity, arousal and heightened aggression for males. They usually have a season for it but I don't have any idea when since time flows differently here. Also, I've been in this world for so long that I didn't notice them experiencing it yet.
Besides being in season, they are triggered by the scent of a female being in heat...
Oh, my gosh.
They DID experience being triggered by the scent of a female being in heat.
Like the time back at the fiery plains!
I was exposed to some sort of strange dragon magic when we entered the fire dragon's territory. They all got crazy back then, causing chaos when they learned that I was in heat as a result of the magic.
It's a good thing that Lion and Aagon were there. Lion was affected too but Aagon was not because of his age. He's wayyyy old but I have no idea how old, although I have a suspicion that his age is more than a decamillennium.
But to be clear, males that has mate/s, would be triggered when their mate/s are in heat, not just any female that is in heat. Except when they don't have any mate/s then that's the time they may be triggered by the smell.
Ah. The mysteriousness of the mating mark.
I know that Lion experiences being in rut from time to time, especially during the time when we were newly mated. He was too aggressive and possessive though he controlled his possessiveness a bit after I gave him a look.
So to prevent him from experiencing that kind of aggression and possessiveness again, we have regular intercourse though it only made him crave for more intercourse like the time when we were living alone together.
I don't mind though.
But I don't know when exactly is their rut season. Mating season is different according to Puma. She forgot to tell me when exactly is the rut season.
It seems to me that males in this world are in a rut all the time. But if they do have a season for it...
I can't just imagine it as they are already extremely... aggressive during ordinary days...
Oh, gosh.
But I do noticed that there are occasions that the pack drink some sort of potion, which Lion insisted that they all must consume it, especially himself.
So being in rut season is on another level.
If Alpha didn't mentioned being in rut then I would've been ignorant. I sometimes forget that they are not humans and they are entirely different from me.
They are driven by instinct a lot of times especially that they are creatures which can turn into beasts if they feel threatened.
It's not mostly creatures in this world as there are presence of beings too. The difference between the two is that beings are almost like human in appearances and mind while the creatures are more beastly, driven mostly by instinct.
The pack are a mix between the two as a result of their ancestors' crossbreeding. Which is why they have several forms.
But their beastly instinct is still there though manageable.
Except when they experience urges.

Alpha?
Both of us are lying on a rug with him tightly embracing me. His body feels a bit too hot than usual. He's not having a fever as I had checked earlier and no presence of wounds anywhere.
It's true what he said earlier. He's definitely in a rut.
I now understood his loss of temper earlier. But like Alpha said, being in a rut isn't an excuse for losing his temper towards me.
Poor Alpha, he's getting too restless. He keeps nuzzling me all over then gives me little nudges, repeating the cycle again and again until he embraced me tightly again.
I like his affections but I'm not entirely comfortable with it due to the fact that I haven't bathe for quite sometime. There's no place to bathe too, I think. This land is too dry.
If Alpha is in a rut, then his senses must be heightened. Maybe that's why I haven't seen Asmodeus anywhere. Or he hasn't finished talking with the demon king yet.
Now Alpha is starting to give me little kisses all over my face and neck.
I need to bathe first!
I should try to stretch out my patience for the meantime as he can't help it. He's more.. uh... lustful than Lion. And being in a rut might be torture for him.
Especially when we haven't had intercourse yet.
But.. I'm not sure if I'm ready for it if Lion gives his permission. He's way too... big.
And I already have an idea what will happen if you mated with a lycan.
I will die.
I'm positive that I will die.
I almost felt like dying when I first mated with Lion. It took me a long, long time to get used to his... size, despite using Puma's potion at that time.
Until now, I still use Puma's potion and it does help a lot though Lion's size still affects me if we have more rounds than usual.
So I can't just imagine doing it with Alpha.

Now he's giving me little bites all over my neck.
I whispered to him that though I like his affections, I'm not comfortable for the moment as I haven't bathe for awhile.
That should stop him.
To my relief, he stopped. I gave a sigh and was about to doze off when he suddenly sat up and began sniffing everywhere.
Uh, what's wrong?
He sniffed quite intensely that I'm starting to feel panicked as there might be presence of predators or monsters. Or Asmodeus has decided to show up.
Immediately, he wrapped me with the rug that I am lying on and carried me in his arms. He moved fast, running while sniffing around until he stopped in front of a cave.
He brought me inside and to my delight, it's a bit cosy.
But to my confusion, he placed me in a corner and started to dig the ground with his hands that transformed into claws.
Is he trying to find a treasure?
He continued to dig for several moments until I heard a bit of splash.
Splash?
Water?
Yes. It's water. It's water, finally!
Finally, after sometime of fixing and slight adjustments, the pool he made is finally ready.
I didn't wait for him as I immediately removed my clothes and submerged my body in the water.
It's a bit cold but it will do.
Ahhhh...
I finally feel clean.
I continued to wash myself until I remembered Alpha.
Uh-oh.
With a splash, he joined me inside the pool.
When I glanced towards his eyes, his eyes looked like they are burning with intense arousal.
He placed me on his lap and to my astonishment, he washed my hair and put some potion on it, making it smell good. It feels soft too.
I felt so grateful to him that I snuggled towards him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Despite being intensely aroused, I can see that he's trying to control himself.
So he embraced me tightly while telling me some stories about himself.
He told me that he used to live somewhere far away with his brothers and the rest of his companions.
They all lived in a territory similar to the territory we are all living now. But their former territory are mountainous and had plenty of caves, which they used as their living spaces.
Ah.. so that's why he knows where to find water despite being inside a cave!
His gaze seemed distant as he continued on telling me about how wonderful his life was back then. Wild prey were plentiful, there are grass and rivers everywhere and no presence of monsters.
Everyone feels safe and contented with their life.
He smiled sadly as he told me that I would've love it there as there are plenty of flowers and fruits, though they don't usually eat fruits except when the females are pregnant as some have strange cravings.
With sudden excitement, he described to me on how he would've made our home near the top of the mountain though not so high but with a great view towards the sea.
He would make it comfortable for me and there's no problem with rugs as he can hunt for them with no problem and having plenty of rugs inside will keep me warm, especially during cold weather.
Then he became silent for a moment.

With a huge sigh, he closed his eyes and his embrace tightened around me as he told me that he missed his old home.
After saying that, he didn't say anything else.
As much as I wanted to know more about his former home, I didn't push him as he looked too grief stricken, as if he hasn't healed from what happened in the past yet.
I can't blame him though.
It was cruel of what Leon did to his former territory. But I know that it's not Leon who was to blame entirely for what happened in the past.
Though he's not actually the mastermind, he still caused death to many of Alpha's tribe members and the citizens belonging to his former territory. No wonder that Alpha has a deep grudge towards him.
Based on his unexpected confession back then when he experienced a nightmare, his grudge towards Leon was too deep that he wants to kill him.
I do hope he won't go through with that plan because even though Alpha has certainly improved a lot, he has a long way to go before reaching Leon's level.
Even Lion can't defeat Leon entirely by himself. I'm not sure if he can put up a fight against Leon.
Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted when Alpha licked my neck slowly.
I was too preoccupied with my thoughts that I forgot that he was in a rut.
He needs affection badly or else he might go out of control. With Alpha, his urges are much more stronger than Lion that whenever we are alone, he nearly lost control of himself. Not just nearly but about to lose control as we almost had intercourse plenty of times if it weren't for the fact that he reminded himself of the blood bond he performed with Lion. He had to wait for Lion to give him permission before he can go all the way with me.
He continued to lick me all over my neck while his hands started to roam around my body when he tried to distract himself by telling me more about his past.
It isn't a huge surprise to me when he admitted that he used to be the next in line to rule his former territory.
When I first saw him at the palace, he seems regal, dominating and confident. That's why everyone thinks he's the alpha in the group before knowing that it's Lion.
After knowing that it's Lion, they all understood why Alpha isn't the alpha of the pack.
Anyway, I'm talking about Alpha here. Before he had that duel with Lion, he seemed too confident of himself, a stark contrast when I roamed around the territory with him when I was in my werewolf form.
He became subdued after he was defeated by Lion though.
I'm thankful that they are now in good terms.
He's quite intelligent, clever and has a strategic mind. Lion usually makes plans with him, along with Sly. Of course, it's Sly who Lion approaches first when making a decision but Alpha comes in close second.
Lion and Alpha are like two sides of the same coin. Lion is the sun while Alpha is the moon. Lion used to rely on himself a lot while Alpha relies on his comrades' cooperation.
But both have dominant personality though Alpha has to submit because of his defeat.
Despite that, Alpha has huge respect towards Lion, which is why even though he is extremely tempted to go all the way with me, he didn't go through, even if he is having a hard time. But he managed to settle down his urges by drinking all sorts of potions and lots of affection from me.
But upon seeing him now, I'm not sure about the outcome as it seems that he doesn't have any potions left.
He's panting fast while something keeps poking me on my back.
I know that he's trying his best to control himself but trying to control a beastly instinct to mate? It will be quite difficult that some lost their minds that resulted to unpleasant situations according to Puma.
Again he's trying to distract himself by continuing to talk about all sorts of random stuff while nuzzling me all over my neck until he finally admitted that he is having a hard time.
Oh, Alpha... I know he tried his best...
I faced him then told him that I'll try to help him what I can and gave him a tender kiss.
His eyes lit up with joy as he murmured that his heart is taken by me when he first saw me.
Ah! I want to know more about that! But satisfying his rut is a priority right now.
Gently, he rubbed his nose on my neck then bit it.
It stinged for a moment but is tolerable. He explained that it has something to do with marking his mate in which I understood as my other mates does that as well though differently.
I placed my head on his chest while he smiled tenderly at me as he carried me in his arms then laid me gently on the rug.
