How tall is this tower anyway?
It's a good thing that Lion carried me or else I might have been tempted to jump down and be done with it, though it would have been a bad idea.
Although it's a bit dim, I can still see my surroundings.
It is kind of useless, as there's nothing else to see except the floating lanterns.
I asked Lion why he didn't use his magic to instantly get to the bottom of the tower instead of using the stairs.
Maelsa.
Maelsa had placed a spell on the tower, limiting Lion's magic to prevent him from releasing me.
And also to contain me.
I'm not that stupid.
I have no idea what else I can do if I transform into my monster form. It's just pure chaos. My body somehow unleashes all sorts of random spells that I told Lion I didn't know how I made happen.
It looks easier when they do that!
Lion tried to give a long explanation of some sort before I told him to stop.
I still don't understand it.
My knowledge from watching all kinds of fantasy movies and reading fantasy books is useless.
It's so different when you are experiencing it in real life.
It looks so easy in movies, especially in anime as they just snap their fingers or murmur some random words then.. bam! Instant magic!
Like, how DO you make it happen?
I'm not a magic user, so this is all very confusing. The corrupted transformation stone is causing me to use magic involuntarily.
Lion thinks that it is connected to my emotions, though he isn't sure yet. But that's the reason everyone is keeping a close eye on me.
They still don't have any idea at all what sort of monster I am.
Even Maelsa.
Lion admitted that mostly my negative emotions, especially anger, trigger me into transforming into my monster form.

No wonder they tried to keep me as calm as possible, they even kept my room extremely plain and empty. However, that was a ridiculous decision on their part.

Suddenly, a tail popped out of my back.
I take it back. It's hard because sometimes I can't control it.
Lion stopped walking and nuzzled my ear, whispering that he'll help me control it.

The more he nuzzled me, the more several parts of me started to change.
Hmm.. it must be that the nullification magic is a bit weaker down here.
My tail is moving by itself!
It's so weird yet fascinating!
Even Lion looked so fascinated with it that he sat down on the stairs and placed me on his lap as he tried to touch it.
By the way, Lion has a tail too, but he can make it appear or disappear, depending on his mood, which I later learned.

Lion chuckled, saying that it was a shame, as he liked seeing me with a tail as it brought out the beast in him.
My mind is taking notes of that. I definitely must avoid having a tail if I want to live.

After several moments of silence while descending the stairs, I asked Lion why there were some days he didn't visit me and why some of his visits were so short.
I mumbled that I was stupid for asking him that, as I didn't deserve to be visited, given my attitude back then, not to mention that the stairs were hell.
It is truly hell, as I estimate it to be over a thousand steps.. no.. more than two thousand..
I lost count earlier.
To think that he did this daily.
I want to cry.
And I did end up crying silently.
He made so much effort to be with me. He's truly remorseful of what he did. Actions do speak louder than words...
My thoughts were interrupted when he suddenly asked me if I was in pain, nuzzling my neck as he tried to comfort me, thinking that Maelsa was punishing me again.
Uh.. that's not the reason why I was crying..
But didn't he hear my question earlier?
He started to get anxious as he tried to check me all over, asking me if he had hurt me earlier.
I snuggled towards him and told him that it was nothing.
I closed my eyes as i was about to doze off when he suddenly stopped, as if he just realized that I had asked him a question earlier.
He kept apologizing, admitting he wasn't listening earlier because his mind was full of thoughts about what we did...
That dummy!
Here I am, crying my eyes out while his thoughts are full of lust!
Despite his begging me to repeat my question, I refused to tell him.
And I stayed silent until we reached the bottom of the tower.

When we got out of the tower, Sly was sitting on the roof in his dragon form and saw us.
He gave a joyful roar and hurriedly flew towards us.
Then he transformed back to his regular form and knelt in front of us, begging for my forgiveness for all the things he had done and said. He went on and on until I started to get annoyed.
When he asked for punishment for his actions, my annoyance reached an all-time high until Lion brightened up suspiciously and whispered into my ear for me to show Sly what I had shown him back in the room.
I don't understand what he... oh!

Sly looked confused at Lion's reaction but continued to stay in his begging position.
Lion bit his lip as he tried not to laugh to prevent Sly from being suspicious. He placed me gently on the ground and helped me remove my clothes.
Sly's face reddened as he tried to ask me what I was planning to do. He stood up and started to embrace me, about to kiss me when I suddenly transformed into my deserter form.

Sly immediately fell back and yelled all sorts of expletives at Lion, who simply guffawed, telling Sly to take a closer look at the...
He didn't manage to finish his sentence when Sly tried to punch him in the face, which Lion easily avoided.

Sly kept glaring at Lion while Lion simply grinned at him.
Even when he's nuzzling me, he growls at Lion before begging me not to repeat it again.

After several kisses and nuzzles from him, he handed me back to Lion, who carried me gently in his arms as we went back to the palace.
While walking, Lion and Sly told me what happened at the time when I suddenly disappeared from the tent.
It was chaos. They all panicked and blamed each other for everything as they tried to find me. It didn't help that there were no footprints that will give them a clue, so they continued searching until Alpha saw the clothes I had left behind before I transformed into a monster completely.
My scent was faint but a strange smell accompanied it, causing their panic to rise to the highest level, to the point where they couldn't think rationally.
As soon as they saw my monster form, that was it. My scent was so faint that they began to think all sorts of horrifying thoughts about what happened to me and they didn't notice me not being aggressive to them.
That was a huge mistake.
And here we are...
They admitted that they were morons and the incident gave them a huge lesson.
It's not entirely their fault though.
I also apologized for hiding things and not telling them everything, admitting that I was panicking and acting like a coward.
After they nuzzled me all over, Lion decided that to put me at ease, we would all talk it out together whenever there's something on our minds, regardless of whether it was insignificant or not.
It's time for all of us to change.
Especially when there's a threat.
And yes, dad told them everything.
Including the fact that I know much more than they do and that there are some things I can't tell them for a specific reason.
They also know about the reason too.
And they cursed Rahab for it.
I think the only thing left that dad didn't tell them is Deus and Subus's real identity.
I understood now why dad didn't tell them. It would be a catastrophe. Leon isn't our ally yet and dad told Lion not to trust Maelsa,even though he doesn't have a reason why.
Despite the pack having come a long way since their previous state, they are still inadequate, as they cannot defeat Leon, especially if Deus unveils his true identity.
Sadly, Ghost was the only one who saw Deus's ultimate form, but he doesn't remember because he was under the influence of something.
He didn't last long as expected.

By the time we got to the palace, I noticed that everyone was trying to avoid us. Many gave me dirty looks but most of them looked terrified and kept their distance.
Sly kept nuzzling me while whispering that they didn't know any better. Lion growled at the ones who looked too hostile, making them avert their faces, though they kept glancing towards us.
At first, I tried to ignore it but it soon affected me.
I know that we can't please anyone but I prefer to be ignored than to be feared.
I didn't do anything nor hurt anyone.
Except attempting to hurt Maelsa maybe.
After a long, silent walk, we finally arrived at the throne room. It opened and inside, a great number of magic users and warriors were waiting for us, with Leon on his cushy chair, staring at us.
Thankfully, Maelsa isn't here, neither are Deus and Bubu too.
But I'm scared of Leon as he has an indescribable look on his face.
As if he doesn't want anyone to know what he's thinking or feeling.
The door opened again and it was Alpha, Orm and Ghost who entered and immediately joined us.
All of them finally stopped walking when we arrived in front of Leon. Alpha, Orm and Ghost gave me all sorts of nuzzles and kisses before Leon cleared his throat.
Then to my horror, he told the pack to let me stand by myself.
Lion calmly told him no, but his voice echoed inside the throne room. I could feel Sly's grip on me tightened as his hands shook with outrage.
The rest of the pack surrounded me in a protective circle while Sly began growling intensely.
Before Leon could say anything else, chaos suddenly erupted when a magic user out of the blue yelled abomination at us and used magic to attack.
Lion told Sly to protect me, handing me to him, then he struck the magic user with a spell that knocked him towards the wall.
Alpha used his wind magic to get rid of the warriors running towards us, while Orm used his ice magic to freeze a lot of them.
Ghost attacked a lot of the warriors without mercy as if he unleashed all his suppressed anger towards them.
Lion flew into the air, his eyes glowing brightly. As he raised his hands, several deadly sparks of lightning struck almost all of the magic users who had tried unsuccessfully to attack him.
Orm defended Lion by freezing them too, while Alpha snarled in anger. Moving swiftly, he used his daggers to hit the knees of the remaining warriors, crippling them as Ghost threw them one by one, towards the wall.
It's terrifying!
The longer everyone fought, the more of their beast-like instinct to attack and defend surfaced.
All sorts of spells came crashing near us as I tried to cover my ears, singing a random song to distract me but I was still overwhelmed.
Sly used his wings to cover me, trying to hide what was happening when suddenly, he screamed in pain.
SLY!
He kept screaming in pain yet continued to hold me tightly until he couldn't anymore and collapsed on the ground.
When his wings opened, I could see the scene before me.
It was a nightmare.
Most of the walls were destroyed and wait...
Is that Leon trying to defend us too?!
I glanced back and saw Sly knocked out with wounds all over his body.
While I held Sly's head, I saw Lion attacking the remaining magic users, who seemed too obsessed with trying to destroy me, as they kept screaming abomination at me.
Ghost became wilder as many of the warriors turned into their ultimate forms. He attacked them with his bare hands disregarding his own safety as many tried to get closer to me, as evidenced by the many bodies around me.
What's wrong with these warriors and magic users? It's like they are out of control! It's as if their minds are focused on trying to destroy me!
Wait. Is there a possibility that their minds are poisoned?
Not to mention that many of the warriors and magic users here are demons, but even they couldn't control themselves too.
Something is definitely strange here.
Deus is an archdemon, but even he couldn't stand chaos like this. As for Maelsa, as much as he is sadistic, fighting without a purpose pisses him off, not to mention he doesn't want anybody destroying a lovely monster such as me.
I looked around and it's clearly evident to me that everyone lost their minds, as they are now acting like beasts. Even the pack, except for Sly, who was knocked out.
Strange.
There's no weird smell around here that might cause them to lose their mind.
Wait. How about Leon?
To my surprise, Leon was not affected like the others, but he seemed terrified by the scene, even though I could see he was capable of defending himself.
I placed Sly gently on the floor as I ran towards Leon.
Sly isn't in a serious condition anymore as his body is rapidly healing itself.
As soon as I reached Leon, he told me to stand near him as he would activate a spell that would try to calm the madness down.
To his horror, nothing seems to happen.
What the heck is wrong here?! I'm panicking now!
Leon told me to calm down as he would try to find a way to stop the disaster.
Oh, yeah.. I should keep my emotions under control..
Except I can't get it under control, as Leon's powers don't seem to work.
I know Leon is quite powerful, but something is definitely wrong here.
And if Leon himself cannot use his powers, then we are in big trouble!
Suddenly, I remembered the incantation dad told me about. As I spoke it, Leon asked me what I was planning to do.
He didn't hear my answer as a huge magic circle appeared underneath him.
I could feel my energy being pulled away from me as the transformation stone on my forehead glowed brightly.
WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?
DAD DIDN'T TELL ME WHAT KIND OF SPELL THIS IS!
Leon yelled that I might hurt myself doing whatever I was doing.
He yelled at Lion, who thankfully had a bit of remaining sense left in him, and told him about my situation.
With that, Leon cried out as his body started to change.
I felt my strength and energy leaving my body, causing me to lose my balance and nearly fall to the floor but Lion caught me just in time.
The last thing I saw and heard was a terrifying, ground shaking roar and Lion's stunned expression towards the sound before I fainted.
