The hospital where Elias Lennox was staying was very close to The Martial Alliance. When Aurora Sinclair and Leigh Miles arrived, they found several vehicles from The Martial Affairs Bureau parked at the entrance, one of which was Kevin Whitlock's motorcycle.
"The freestyle fighting tournament is really popular right now. I'm thinking of signing up myself," Leigh Miles said, her gaze drifting toward a nearby skyscraper. She was getting antsy, and rumor had it the prize money was huge.
Aurora Sinclair reached out and tapped her on the head. "Don't go looking for trouble."
"Fine..." Leigh pouted. 'Aurora's just as old-fashioned as our master.'
The two took the stairs to the fifth-floor internal injury ward.
Leigh asked, confused, "Haven't Elias's internal injuries healed yet?"
The last time Aurora had injured him, Leigh had left him plenty of internal injury medicine—enough for a full recovery.
Aurora was also puzzled. 'With his skills, he shouldn't have been hit by a car.'
