「Inside the hospital.」
Leigh Miles immediately had Dean Morgan lie down on the bed.
She pulled open his hospital gown and began to examine him.
"Does this hurt?"
"No..."
"Here?"
"No..."
Leigh Miles looked at him, puzzled, as she pressed her fingers against his chest. "What about here?"
"No..."
Leigh Miles's brows furrowed. "Then where does it hurt?"
But Dean Morgan just stared at her, pointing to his heart. "It hurts here."
Leigh Miles's expression changed slightly. She quickly took out her stethoscope, bent over slightly, and listened intently to Dean Morgan's heartbeat.
'It is beating a little fast. Could it be arrhythmia?'
Just as Leigh Miles was about to listen more closely, a large hand grabbed hers and pulled forcefully, sending her sprawling onto his chest.
"Ah... your wound..."
"I missed you."
Leigh Miles froze.
