"How could this happen?" Leigh Miles was stunned.
Aiden Morgan was covered in blood. A single glance told her he had just flown in directly from the Western Continent.
"Ambushed by men from The Shadow..."
Leigh Miles's heart clenched. She sprinted toward the operating room.
She changed her clothes and sterilized her hands.
Only then did she see the man on the operating table, already a bloody mess.
She felt as if all the blood in her body was flowing in reverse, and she began to tremble uncontrollably.
"Leigh Miles, don't just stand there. Hurry up..."
Leigh Miles's legs felt weak. For some reason, her mind went completely blank, as if she had forgotten all the knowledge she'd ever learned.
