Off to the side, Qi Xiang watched Ye Junhan's departing figure. She couldn't help but feel that his visit was a bit strange.
She then turned to look at Ye Nan, who was standing nearby with her lips pressed together, lost in thought. Leaning close to Gu Xi's ear, she whispered, "Did you see that?"
Gu Xi: 'See what?'
Looking like an enthusiastic bystander watching the drama unfold, Qi Xiang jutted her chin toward Ye Nan. "Why do you think Ye Junhan came all this way?" It's not like he had to come just to tell us we're leaving in an hour, right?
We do have walkie-talkies, after all.
"Fugui, what do you think?" Finally, Qi Xiang looked up at Tuan Fugui. "Tell me, why exactly did your captain come here?"
Fugui jumped. He turned his head and, seeing that Ye Junhan was a good distance away, heaved a sigh of relief. He shot Qi Xiang an annoyed glare. 'For crying out loud, if you want to gossip, just gossip. Why drag me into it?'
