"Michael, are you sure you want to make Phoenix the first stop on your world tour?" Chen Yu asked, gripping his phone in surprise.
On the other end of the line was Michael Jackson.
He had been preparing for this year's world tour since the latter half of last year.
And yet, he had decided to make the first stop on his world tour in Phoenix, a city known primarily for its retirees.
He could have easily gone to Las Vegas, New York, or Los Angeles. The fanbases there were larger, and he could have achieved far greater success.
"No, Chen. You could say I was reborn in Phoenix, so that's where I want to start again and resume my singing career." Michael Jackson's voice on the phone was as unnervingly gentle as ever, but his tone was resolute.
Chen Yu smiled knowingly and didn't press the issue. "Alright, I'll see you next March, then."
